Thanks to consistently accurate leaker Jtprime17, by way of our own Seibertronian EvasionModeBumblebee, we have a list of what may be all of the Studio Series retail releases for 2025. No, that's not a typo, it's the end of February 2024 and we already know what's coming out next year. Once the shock wears off there's some really interesting things listed here. For one we seem to be going back to the Bayverse movies in a pretty big way! Hatchet seems to have found a new home after the Target release was canceled, Que is finally getting a new figure, Age of Extinction Optimus Prime is getting updated at last and the Stinger mold might be coming back with a retool as the unused concept fembot "Widow Maker".
Gamer Edition is continuing with the expected Starscream repaints and Ironhide. Studio Series 86 looks to be giving us the first four members of the Constructicons in a mix of Voyagers and Deluxes (the rest will surely be coming in 2026), and package refreshes of Grimlock, Perceptor and Jazz. We've also got a few listings for TF:One, Rise of the Beasts and another A Level Optimus Prime.
Full list can be seen below and be sure to discuss it in the Energon Pub forums!

Thanks to Seibertronian Sentinel Primal, we have word of an anticipated Generations Selects figure that was posted on Twitter, by user @ARCTIC_STORM. It appears to be a slight remold of the War for Cybertron Megatron figure, with his classic green and purple G2 deco, along with a new G2 toy accurate head.
While this figure has not been officially announced, this looks to be legitimate, and not just a well done custom.
What do you think of this find? Excited for some G2 goodness in the Selects line? Let us know below, and stay tuned for the latest Transformers news!

Thanks to Seibertronian
Sentinel_Primal, we were directed to a tweet from the account @not_on_Twitta, which shows a listing in Target's systems for a Runabout figure in the War for Cybertron: Earthrise line. The listing shows that this figure has the Earthrise E-41 designation.
While no other information is available at this time, a Runabout figure would almost assuredly be a recolor of the Earthrise Runamuck figure, which is due out this late Summer or early Fall in the northern hemisphere, and would complete the Battlecharger duo.
What do you think of this news? Was this figure inevitable? A happy surprise? Let us know below!

Fellow Seibertronian Sentinel Primal made us aware of a post form
Reddit featuring what appears to be a sleeper mode redeco of Earthrise "leader" Optimus Prime. What is most convincing about this is the fact that most of the "colour" comes from the plastic rather than paint which wouldn't be the case were it a custom.
Sentinel_Primal wrote:Apparently the leaker that leaked Bluestreak and Ratchet last year got his hands on a new figure... And it's Sleep Mode Optimus Prime.
We know nothing else aside from this photo at this point in time.

Greetings Seibertronians! Following a tip off from fellow Seibertron user,
Omegatron we've learned if a possible Studio Series release of Sentinel Prime. The information came to light following a post made by
Loopaza Mega Store's Facebook account. It lists the Japanese Studio Series releases for February to May next year, and while many of these have been spoiled, it does provide one we haven't heard of. Till now.
That one is Sentinel Prime.
He is apparently voyager sized as going by his price in yen which matches Scrapper and Movie 1 Megatron. Of course there's no images at the moment but with a lot of conventions coming up, it's just a matter of time.
What do you think of this news? Are you excited to recreate the three way fight at the end of the movie? Are you still bitter about Ironhide's death? Let us know in the Energon Pub and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews!

Thanks to
BB7 Toys at Facebook here are some new images of the officially licensed Transformers 3D Metal Puzzles by Shangai Art Model.
These officially licensed models are made from ultra thin laser-cut sheet metal pieces assembling into a larger metal object 11-18cm long. You know, basically knives.
Using a simple tab-into-slot assembly process these models assemble with no glue, but do require a wealth of patience.
From this staffer's personal experience all you need is a little determination, an electron microscope, a pair of Doctor Octopus assistance arms, a few adhesive medical strips (for yourself) and you too can find the joy of juggling small knives until they somehow assemble into awesome looking metal masterpieces.
There is no current information on their suggested retailer price or their release date, but the release wave will feature the following live-action characters in their vehicle forms:
Ironhide as a GMC Topkick 4500 truck from Transformers 2007.
Sentinel Prime as a Rosenhauer Panther Firetruck from Dark Of The Moon.
Bumblebee in his Chevrolet Camaro Concept from 2017's The Last Knight.
Hound as a Mercedes Unimog tactical vehicle also from The Last Knight.
Hot Rod in his Lamborghini Centenario body from The Last Knight.
And Optimus Prime as a Peterbilt 379 Truck from Transformers 2007.
Check out the images below and share your own tales of woe (or joy) when assembling these mini metal models.

A number of Seibertron.com community members - such as
westjames/notirish - have been sending us a notification of what appears to be a rumoured new figure in the Transformers Studio Series line - or at least, a new backdrop appearing on the TFCN fan group, and leading to speculation of either a new Megatron or Sentinel Prime figures appearing later in the line, once the current waves are dealt with.
The backdrop appears to depict the Chicago Bridge scene from Dark of the Moon, which features both of the characters, alongside Optimus Prime. As many fans have been asking for a bigger truck Megatron this might be a good outlet, but so far there have been no repeats, so Sentinel may equally be feasible - what do you think? Let us know in the discussion!
A new background for a mystery #StudioSeries figure. This takes place on the Chicago Bridge where Optimus and Sentinel fought, and also looks like the shot where Megatron said “who would you be without me?” Swipe to see each shot. Do you think this will be for Megatron or Sentinel? If they did make Megatron, my guess would be that he would have the desert as his background, but I would love a DOTM Megatron update. Sentinel could also use an update, so it could be him. #TransformersStudioSeries #Megatron #SentinelPrime

Fellow Seibertronian Decepticon Sunstorm found a post online from TF Fan Chainclaw which relates to images of unrevealed toys he saw. He gives a detailed list of his thoughts on them below but here is the breakdown. Remember of course, that since this is all unrevealed items, take this with a grain of salt, as we do when we usually get
rumours of this kind. Not only that these are subject to a persons point of view, but there have been many occurences of Hasbro not releasing a product that was being developed. Now onto the latest rumours of toys that might come out at the tail end of 2016 or in 2017:
Headmaster Laser Prime which looks to be inspired by both Star Convoy and G2 Prime.
Headmaster Triplechanger Megatron which can turn into a jet and a tank. Will probably be used for Blitzwing.
Getaway as a repaint of Chromedome.
Headmaster Triggerhappy (his G1 toy was a Targetmaster).
Headmaster Hot Rod
Headmaster Triplechanger Alpha Trion (while we have seen the
art for this toy, Chainclaw did expand on the vehiclemode looking like Vector Prime's).
Transformers Convention & Club Exclusives Alpha Trion Gallery
Headmaster Weirdwolf
Headmaster Doublecross
Magnus Prime, which is a blue redeco of Combiner Wars Ultra Magnus, as a reference to the Diaclone Ultra Magnus.
Transformers Generation One Diaclone Ultra Magnus (Movie Preview Version Ultra Magnus) Gallery
Tidal Wave which may share the mold with Broadside. Probably a triple changer and thus a voyager headmaster.
Decepticon Clones made up of components looking like the Predaking ones. For example there was a
Horri-Bull which could double as Tantrum.
Legends Sharkticon (Gnaw)
Legends Reflector (Shockwave redeco)
Legends Kickback
Legends Brawn
SDCC Fort Max comes with Red Sword. This was already hinted at in a
previous leak which mentioned an exclusive sword.
Here is the detailed breakdown with extra descriptions and thoughts on what Chainclaw saw:
Chainclaw wrote:An anonymous friend of mine showed me a bunch of stuff on his computer last night that Hasbro is working on. A couple things were just concept art, or those packets they show investors. But the majority was actual toys. Anyways, he said I could talk about it online, as long as I didn't mention him by name.
So that said, it would be great to have some images, to represent what I saw when I'm talking to people. So I have a series of requests that are spoilers of what's coming later in 2016 and 2017. So anyone not wanting to know shouldn't read past this point. Cool?
Okay, I saw a Headmaster Star Convoy / Laser Prime from G2. It pretty much looks like Star Convoy, except that star-ish shaped yellow thing on his chest looks blockier, like a letter T. And his shoulders are very Laser Prime, sticking up high, with two circle things on the front of each one. In truck mode he's long nosed, but red. Not black with red flames.
Just as Sentinel Prime was obviously Astrotrain, Headmaster Megatron is obviously Blitzwing, but with a Megatron head. You can see his tank turret on his back, and jet fins on his ankles. He comes with two guns which merge to form his big cannon that can plug into his arm. Megatron's head looks very G1 in head mode. In "Nebulon" mode it has a red torso, and grey limbs.
Chromedome's getting repainted as Getaway. Head looks G1.
Triggerhappy is a headmaster who looks very G1.
Hot Rod is a headmaster who looks G1 in vehicle mode. Robot mode looks vaguely IDW to me. Small waste. Long thinghs. Big hexagonal kneepads with vents in them.
Alpha Trion's a triple changer. Beast Mode is a wolf with a unicorn horn (I have no idea why). Jet mode looks very Vector Prime.
Weirdwolf looks good. Very G1.
Powermaster Prime is getting a Diaclone repaint, so it's a blue COE truck. They seem to be calling it Magnus Prime or something along those lines (I can't remember for sure). Odd, since it's not white.
Tidal Wave seems to be coming back (investor art, photoshopped, rough). Looks like it'll share a mold with Broadside. Vehicle mode seems to be USS Flagg homage. Part of "strength series". Tidal Wave's head is called Powerhouse. Grey body. Green limbs.
Decepticon Clones. Looked to me like they have a Predaking. And the D-clones were Predaking parts. Same with Horri-Bull.
Sharkticon looks very round and G1.
Technobots look like you'd expect. But Afterburner is weird. Instead of making him G1, or just an orange Takara Groove, he's got this really long warped/bent windshield. It looks awkward to me. But that was my only complaint from everything I saw.
SDCC Fort Max comes with red sword. Has blue hands, instead of white.
That's all I can remember right now. Anyways, very excited. Would love to have any of these done up, just for the sake of chatting with friends about it on FB, etc.
Thanks-

Seibertron.com member NovaSentinel recently sent an e-mail to Hasbro UK concerning the question if the previously revealed Transformers Prime Voyagers Ultra Magnus, Thundertron and Skyquake would be released in the UK and not just Asia.
This is the reply:
Thank you for your email:
Our Marketing Department have just informed us that an update has been received regarding your enquiry and we are actually planning to bring in RID Voyager Skyquake, Ultra Magnus and Thundertron later in the year. (I'm guessing they are voyager wave 4)
Kind regards
Hasbro UK
Now take this with a grain of salt, since it's from Hasbro UK, this might also confirm a main land European release and a release in US markets.
Stay tuned to seibertron.com for all your Transformers related news!

Capone of
Ain't it Cool News had the opportunity to view Transformers DOTM in it's entirety and has posted the film's first
review. While the version that was screened was in 2-D the reviewer states the movie's 3-D potential is "very clear". He also states the movie looks surprisingly complete considering it doesn't come out until July 1st. He has tried to keep his review free of major spoilers, but naturally there are some spoiler-
ish details so read on at your own risk. We'll hit some of the high points below, to read his full review click
here!
Update: After the
Ain't it Cool News review started making waves in the Transformers community regarding the twins director Michael Bay posted the following in his
Shoot for the Edit forum:
After the internet posting of a nice review by someone who saw Transformers Dark of the Moon, the writer had not been clear on one thing. He misstated that the Twins are in the film. They are not.
So I am offering a $25,000 REWARD to anyone who can find them performing in Transformers 3, on July 1, when the movie opens.
Michael
Capone has subsequently updated his
review with the following regarding the twins:
[Hey, everyone. Just to be 100 percent clear, I'm not referring about the "The Twins" here; they are most definitely not in this film. I'm talking about Wheelie (Tom Kenny, who also voiced Skids in REVENGE OF THE FALLEN) and other similar smaller robots, who act like streetwise teenagers.]
The Chicago battle:
- over an hour long
- intense
- lots of civilian deaths
The Twins:
- they are in the film
- they've been toned down from ROTF
Megatron:
- very creepy
- still has is disfigurements from ROTF
- little spider-like robots crawl in and out of his head wound that he casually picks away
- in surprisingly good spirits
Sentinel Prime:
- left Cybertron in the Ark filled with technology he thought would eventually save their planet
- voiced to "perfection" by Nimoy
- retrieved and revived by Optimus Prime
Sam Witwicky:
- has graduated college and is now living with new girlfriend Carly
- not happy that he is not employed by the government
- his boss is played by Malkovich
- Ken Jeong is co-worker
- his parents are in the film, but minimally
Carly:
- Sam's new girlfriend (obviously)
- often in the tightest of cloths
- often filmed as though she is in a Victoria's Secret show
- better than Megan Fox in the reviewer,s opinion
Dylan (Patrick Dempsey):
- Carly's boss and possible competition for her attentions
- has a penchant for world domination
Agent Simmons;
- has written a book about the Transformers on Earth
- now a rich eccentric
- trying to not get pulled back in to the game
Moon landings/alien technology:
- the first and every Moon landing since has been in response to the Ark crash landing
- Autobots are not amused that technology meant to save their race has been sitting on the Moon all this time without their knowledge
- Chernobyl accident was caused by experimentation on retrieved alien technology
Bottom line: Best of the three!
