It was previously reported that the Dreamworks/Paramount sequel to the
Transformers Movie had been giving a release date of June 26th 2009 - but the film risks being delayed because of the ongoing strikes by the Writers' Guild in Hollywood, and now the Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Transformers 2 is "un-slotted". Could this mean that the film is finally feeling the affects of the writers' strike, or could the Hollywood Reporter simply be unaware of the previously announced release date?
here.
Some will suggest that DreamWorks' production operations will be upended if Steven Spielberg and David Geffen bolt Par when their personal contracts expire in November. But the pair remain actively engaged in several ongoing projects, including the as-yet-unslotted "Transformers 2."
Stay tuned to Seibertron.com for more information as it becomes available. And click
here for more on the
Transformers Movie and its sequel.

Anyone seen the January Previews yet? If you did, or plan to, you should notice something interesting in the Transformers toys section.
According to
lastmaximal at
Cybertron Phillipines he saw a red repainted Dropkick in the most recent issue of Previews.
He even snapped a picture of it from his cell phone. The quality is quite poor, but you can see Stealth Bumblebee and a red truck that seems to resemble Dropkick.
What is this unknown Transformers name? When will it be released? Autobot or Decepticon? Feel free to discuss it below!
We'll let you know if this is more than a rumor, when we find out more, in the
Seibertron Movie News and the
Seibertron Toy News.

For anyone looking for MP Skywarp from an American seller, look no further than
Walmart.com! For some reason, the large retailer has gotten a hold of the Japanese exclusive figure and they are offering it for $149.88. It may be a little bit more than some of our sponsors offer it, but for the most part, our sponsors have none in stock.
So if you are looking to get this figure for a small premium, click
here now.

Through the big re-set last week, and hub bub of not having any news or login capabilities something got a little overlooked.
Toyfare #126 hit the shelves and released information on the year 2008.
Pg. 66 has a half page dedication to CLASSICs 2.0, with pics of Dreamwave art of the G1 Farelady brothers Prowl and Bluestreak.
In the article, which is an interview with HASBRO SENIOR BOYS TOYS DESIGNER Bill Rawley, Sunstreaker (yellow lambo), and Prowl (black and white cop car) are revealed to be confirmed.
He also mentions,
"...a triple changer, a tank, and some other classic characters."
"We can't have five cars in a wave, so we try to mix it up a bit and offer more of a variety."
In Wave 2, if a mold is re-used,
"...I'll try to throw a new head sculpt or change up the way the vehicle transforms in order to give it a new look."
A letter in the Toy fare letters column also asked:
"Are 6-inch Titanium War Within Prowl and War Within Grimlock due for release any time in the near future?"
HASBRO PR- Paula Wash said, "We are not planning to release these versions."
A sad day for those of us who wanted to see the Titanium line end on a real positive high note, and also to have a few more figures added to the highly desired War Within figure collection, which is far too small as it is.
There is an existing thread about Prowl being a new CLASSIC already
here.
Thanks to all the different sources for the information. Hope we got everyone.

According to news at
TFs@The Moon, E-Hobby will no longer be accepting international orders (and have not been since September 2007).
Does this mean getting an exclusive from them will now be even more difficult and expensive? We hope not!
You might want to question your favorite import store, and see if this will effect their prices dramatically, and start working on some comparison shopping. Or just do without your 'Protect Black Version' of Re-issue G1 Ironhide!

Brothers re-united again. Prime and Magnus, back on the small screen together, but in a seeming reversal of roles. Optimus is the younger unsure, hesitant leader, and Ultra Magnus, the older, and wiser leader.
Entertainment News International brings us the first, very up close picture of the former City Commander's noggin.
Enjoy the teaser of this more mature version of this ever reluctant character.

As we
reported earlier, Robert Orci has claimed that:
Transformers is that the movie may suffer (unless of course you hate the first one so much that you feel our inattention is a bonus). It may be pushed back or a host of other thing may happen to it. For that we apologize truly.
Yet a post from Nelson at
Shootfortheedit.com seems to disagree with Orci's statement:
BTW, Bay just indicated to me that Transformers is still on schedule. The movie is still in heavy prep and "will be released JUNE 24th 2009."
To read the original post, please

So what this means for Transformers 2 is still uncertain.
More information as it comes.

moviehole.net is reporting that Darius McCrary, the voice behind Jazz in this past summer's blockbuster
Transformers Movie, is in talks to reprise his role as the Autobot for the movie's sequel, tentatively scheduled for release in June 2009.

by clicking here.
And please keep in mind that director Michael Bay has officially stated that false information would be leaked to purposefully mislead fans (
see here), which is why all stories involving the production of the
Transformers Movie sequel will be treated as rumours until proven otherwise.
