The most recent Seibertron.com gallery is not the next reveal from the Transformers Collectors' Club BotCon set, but rather an exclusive from the G.I. Joe Con in Springfield, IL and revealed almost a year ago: Marissa Faireborn and Afterbreaker This exclusive "G.I. Joe and the Transformers" set will be sold by both the Transformers Collector's Club and the G.I. Joe Collector's Club.

The gracious Pete Sinclair of Funpub gave us access to some of this years exclusive figures to show off to our followers. Battletrap has already received some attention today, but being the demanding fellow he is he's grabbing us once more. He tries to hold on to his G1 Duocon heritage, incorporating the helicopter/all-terrain-vehicle/robot from his predecessor Generations Springer. Via their official Twitter account, the team at BotCon have announced their third character in the exclusive event box set 'Cybertron's Most Wanted'. Seibertron was at G.I. Joe Con and we are proud to present an extensive gallery of the first revealed Botcon 2015 figurePackrat! We get up close and personal with the blue rodent, and notice he still keeps Battletrap close by and that we have MUCH more coming for you in the future! *wink*wink*

Earlier today, during the G.I. Joe Collector's Club panel at this weekend's G.I. Joe Con in Springfield, Il, a new G.I. Joe and the Transformers exclusive crossover set was revealed. The new set is Old Snake from the G1 episode titled "Only Human". Old Snake is none other than Cobra Commander from the G.I. Joe series. Old Snake will come packaged with two B.A.T.s figures (which are recolored from Transformers Prime Deluxe Class Soundwave) as well as a pair of Energon Cubes. This is the second G.I. Joe / Transformers crossover set to be offered from the G.I. Joe and Transformers Collector's Clubs. The first set is the Marissa Faireborn and Afterbreaker set which might be available as early as BotCon in June.

There's a certain blue bug that's very popular today! Thanks to the Botcon's Twitter, we have a much nicer shot of their upcoming Exclusive Chopshop repaint. As previously reported today, he will be an Attendee Exclusive and not a part of the box set and remains un-named. However, speculation is that he may be carrying the name of Vicegrip, who is another Botcon figure of old, and keeping with the theme set by the first figure revealed: Packrat. We've seen in-hand images for most of the 2015 Transformers Collectors' Club Subscription figures, including the freebie incentive Lio Convoy, and other such as Car-Zap, Krok, Nova Prime, Nacelle and G2 Starscream - but it never hurts to show some more off, right? Frank Welker, legendary voice actor and original voice for MEGATRON, to appear at BotCon 2015 on June 19th and 20th. This will be Mr. Welker’s first ever convention appearance. Fort Worth, TX - Fun Publications, Inc., licensee for Hasbro’s official Transformers Collectors’ Convention BotCon, announced today that Frank Welker, one of the greatest voice actors of our generation, will be the featured guest for BotCon 2015. From his first voice role as Fred on the Hanna-Barbera series Scooby-Doo, Where are you! to the voice of one of the most iconic villains in cartoon history, MEGATRON, the tyrannical leader of the Decepticons, Frank Welker’s characters have entertained kids of all ages kids for over 40 years! This year’s award-winning convention featuring Frank Welker will take place at the Pheasant Run Resort June 18thright outside of Chicago. You can make your hotel reservations now at BotCon.com. In the coming weeks, pop culture enthusiasts from around the world will be able to register for BotCon 2015 and purchase the “Frank Welker VIP experience” package.
