Transformers Collectors Club has sent out the following message to all member concerning the
recently reported club exclusive Astrotrain and Airazor.
Hello,
If you have not seen them yet, pictures are up in the members site.
To order Astrotrain or Airazor, please follow the directions below as we will
NOT take phone orders until Thursday. Emailed orders will take priority. We
will start processing and making callbacks today from our list of emails. We
will get to you in the order the emails were received. Again, we will NOT take
any calls on these items until Thursday.
Please send an email to angie@mastercollector.com with the following
information:
If you need to have someone call you back, just include your phone number and
name. If you have a credit card on file (which most of you do) please give us
the last 4 numbers of the credit card and expiration date, verify your shipping
address in case it is different from your mailing address, make sure you put
your first and last (not your screen name) name and daytime phone number on your
request.
Then tell us what you want to pre-order. These two pieces are currently
scheduled to arrive here in late January.
We are limiting the quantities you can order to two of each (two Astrotrains,
two Airazors) until December 11, to give all members a chance to order what they
want. Some people are not online and they will not see the announcement until
they get their newsletter. There are only 2,000 pieces of each item.
You must be a member to order these items. If someone is not a member, they can
join at the same time.
Astrotrain is $87 +shipping, Airazor is $42 +shipping. Shipping is $7 domestic
for the first item and $1 for each additional item. Foreign shipping will vary
by country. If you are placing a foreign order, we will calculate the airmail
cost and add it to your order.
Example order: if you are domestic and order one Astrotrain and one Airazor the
total cost will be $137.
Also, if you are a foreign member and need a call back, we will call you though
the time of day might be very late or very early.
We have put these rules in place to make this process as easy, simple and fair
as possible. Please follow them.
In case you are wondering why we are not taking orders online: the programmers
are working on a pre-order module for the store but it is not finished. Also it
is not a good idea to test new code with such an overwhelming amount of
processing. We would prefer to test it in a simpler environment to ensure there
is not another Nemesis Prime problem.

area in the members forum and I will answer it. Angie and the other support
staff will be a bit busy.

Today the Diamond Exclusive Botcon 2006 "Transformers Timelines: Dawn of Futures Past" comic was released. One of the pages in the comic featured an advertisement for
Transformers Collectors Club membership. Featured in the advertisement are images of the box for the upcoming club exclusive Astrotrain, the mini-cons that will be included with Astrotrain, a close up of his headsculpt and the next club exclusive!
The figure will be Dawn of Futures Past Airazor. A photo of Airazor's headsculpt is featured in the advertisement. Airazor appears in the comic and is clearly a repaint
Energon Slugslinger with a totally new headsculpt. You can see a scan of the advert
here at TFW2005.
Update: Thanks to
Fireblast we now have a comfirmation scan from the comic book itself for Airazors mould.

Hello Club Member!
Many of you have been asking if there is anything leftover from
BotCon. In a couple of words...not much.
We have now shipped everything to everyone that pre-ordered them and we
are down to the reserve figures we left here.
We have just put into the store the last 38-boxed sets. There are no
loose sets left, no souvenirs left, and currently we are planning to
re-order some T-shirts, as there are not any of them left either. There
are a couple of the zippered hooded jackets , hats, posters and the
comic book and that is it. (Watch for the cover variant next month at your
local comic book shop and in our store.)
So you can order what you like however, if someone tries to get an
excessive amount (our discression) we will reduce the number they can
receive. We want as many folks to get these at the offering price as
possible.
For next year, you should really try to attend the show. Being in
Providence will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
If you can't make it next year, you need to pre-order early to ensure
you get the figures!

BotCon is drawing near only 2 weeks away! Please remember that if you are attending that the pre-registration ends on Friday September 15.
You must fax your registration form in by then or you will have to come to late registration on Friday morning September 29 and we do not guarantee availability! We have now hit the 600 mark for attend and non-attending packages so there are only 150 left! The registration form for attending and non-attending packages can be found at BotCon.com.
In addition, if you order the non-attending (Iacon Package) by this Friday, your shipping is included (domestic) in the price. If there are any left that go in the store after the convention, the shipping will be additional.
Also, please note that because of the numbers that are coming, on Thursday night, registered guests will be limited to one of each of the souvenir figures per person. On Friday morning you will be able to purchase additional pieces (qty not determined at this time, we will decide based on what is left from Thursday night).

Hello!
This morning we are converting to a new server. Please don't post in the forum until after noon eastern time as they are finishing the data comparison for all changed files from this morning.
After luch today, please let us know if you see any broken links that didn't convert properly. You may have to wait for your ISP's DNS server to update to get back to the site so if you can't get to any mastercollector.com site, just give it a little more time to update.
This update will allow us to make some changes in the store that will streamline the operations and make it faster.

Hello Club Member!
We hope you are all getting excited about BotCon! I know we are!
Here are some updates:
Board Wars Faction Feud-
We only have space for a couple more websites to participate in this
event and we need to know if you are planning to have a team by Thursday
of this week. Please email lisa@mastercollector.com your board name,
along with the leaders name, team members name (limit of 5 people) and
their screen names.
Video Room Sponsors-
We have one more spot for a website to sponsor the video room. You
will need to have a representative in the video room during your time and
you have games and contests there as well, if you like! There is no
cost to you, just bring the DVDs and VHS tapes you want to show.
Contest entries-
Regular contest entry setup is Friday morning from 8:30-Noon. Please
plan to have your entry in place by then. Late set up is 10am-11am on
Saturday morning. Trophies and show dollar prizes will be given out at
the Awards Party on Saturday night.
If you are entering one of the contests, please email
lisa@mastercollector.com and let her know which one(s) to reserve your
space. We don't want to run out and this helps us plan for your
arrival.
Registration cut off dates-
If you are registering with a check you must have your registration
form to us by this Friday. If you are using a credit card or money order,
you must have it to us by September 15. After that date you will need
to come to late registration pick-up on Friday morning at 8:30 am and
we cannot guarantee availability at that time. Please remember that the
souvenir items go on sale Thursday night and you must be a registered
guest to purchase that evening or Friday.
MSTF-
We will be hosting the MSTF Theatre on Thursday night after
registration closes.
Schedule-
We will post the schedule up in the next 2 weeks.
BotCon Comic-
This year the BotCon comic will be distributed through Diamond this
year with an alternate cover and content. Watch for it in the next
Previews.
Transformers Toys-
