Even after SEIBERTRON.com´s crash last night, we´re still dedicated to bringing you the latest news and rumor updates!
Fans may remember the appearance of "Grimlock/Swoop" in a list from Wal-Mart´s computer database. This set is listed as a Mega figure from Energon, but what is it? Well, none other than a repainted Cruellock and Divebomb, apparently, which will be disappointing to fans of the original Dinobot. Another figure, however, was believed to be a repaint - Doom-Lock. However, it may not be a repaint after all... keep an eye out for updates on these future Energon releases.
On the Universe side of things, a lot of interest was generated by the Ultra-sized "Constructicon" two-packs. Once again, fan guesses seem to be correct - these two sets are none other than a G1 Constructicon-style repaint of Landfill! Keep an eye out for both of these two-packs this summer.

In what may be the worst kept secret in the TF fandom right now, Rodimus Prime (thought by many to be the worst representation of a Transformers leader EVER) is scheduled to be reissued in either late 2003 or early 2004. For those of you who didn´t buy an original Rodimus Prime in ´87 or pick up the original reissue (which has been slashed in price repeatedly as nobody seems to want it) this is your chance. We may never see a reissue of Jetfire, Soundwave, or Grimlock, but we´ve got Rodimus Prime coming. Yay.

NEWS/RUMORS/PRODUCTS: According to Professor Smooth, Scourge comes out this month as a full size Ultra RID figure. As for the Spychanger version of Scourge, let's just say he fits nicely into most places Spychangers could fit. Most notably a certain window in a certain 2 foot tall city Transformer. Might Fortress Maximus (Brave Maximus in Car Robots) be released here in the states as early as April 2002?
For Transformers statue fans, rumor has it that
Hard Hero plans bi-monthly busts of Ironhide, Soundwave, Hotrod, Starscream, Grimlock, Prowl, and Arcee (possibly a full figure).
