Seibertronians, we have a very cool little piece of news for you. The Prop/Animation auction company Profiles in History has released the listings for their upcoming Animation-themed auction titled Animation And Disneyana, and the lots range from Tim Burton models to Disneyland employee costumes, and everything in between. Although those are some of the oddities of the line up, what the auction has plenty of is animation cells and other production artifacts from many classic examples of the genre, specifically from The Transformers original cartoon and Transformers: The Movie. These include a "Character Bible", with an original character model for every Transformer from the Sunbow cartoon, apparently packaged with a bio for each, listing strengths and weaknesses and characteristics. Other lots consist of colored cells of Metroplex and Trypticon battling, as well as scripts for the episodes "Rust in Peace" (or what would become "Cosmic Rust") "Grimlock's New Brain", "The Return of Optimus Prime", and, most importantly, the original script for the 1986 Transformers Movie. The Transformers lots actually come from the personal collection of G1 Production Coordinator Paul Davids!

These models include older designs and colorings that ended up not being the primary model used, but were used sporadically throughout the episodes, such as Cyclonus, Blurr, Scourge, Starscream and Bruticus. Seibertron member Primeultimus has pointed us in the direction of a US based list of eBay auctions from seller Kokomo Toys, consisting of Dino Sparkers. We don't know whether or not this seller received their stock directly from Hasbro, or if they bought these at a local store, but it's official folks, the street date is being broken all over the place it seems. First in Canada, then Wal*Marts in the US, K-Mart (as seen here), and now sellers on eBay.

Rose Ward, the mind behind RetroCons, has set up a couple of interesting eBay auctions for animal charities in California: two Transformers posters signed by a number of Transformers voice actors. Check out the details for the auctions below, including a video of the signing!
Recently in California, I helped to organize a voice actors reunion. These items were put together during this event, by myself and Michael Bell for local animal charities. We'd like to share these auction with fans if possible.

Transformers 1986 Animated Theatrical (Reprint) Movie Poster. Autograpghed by voice actor talents: Sue Blu, John Moschitta, Corey Burton, Gregg Berger, Neil Ross, Michael Bell, David Mendenhall, Paul Eiding, Michael McConnohie and voice director Wally Burr. (We also have an unknown autograph included.)
This item was signed during a voice actors reunion June 25th, 2013. There's a little poster damage along the sides, but to have so many voice talents autograph one item, it makes it a unique piece. The proceeds that are gathered will be given to Cambodian Wildlife Sanctuary & Serenity Place Rescue. None of the money earned from this will be for profit, all for charity.

Greetings Transformers fans. Here is my first annual Box Set. An alternative to "conventional" box sets. This five figure custom set is packed full of Dinobot awesomeness! This set comes in a convention styled, telescopic box that is 20"x10"x5" and features original artwork. The box is extremely sturdy and has 4 1/2" soft foam cut to hold each figure. Included in the box are all five Dinobots, Swoop, Snarl, Slag, Sludge and Grimlock in their short lived Earth modes. A comic strip (also original artwork) included with this set tells the story of why the Dinobots adopted Earth modes to begin with. Each figure is painstakingly painted and comes with guns/missile launchers and swords! There is a signed Certificate from GetRightRobot guaranteeing this is a unique set and is the only one of it's kind. Lastly this set includes a DVD packed with original digital content.

I don't know what happened to it unfortunately. Per the instructions that came with this kit, the upgrade pieces (sans face) were applied with super glue. It is possible that the add-on pieces can fall off during or after the shipping process. The figure should be handled with care.
I removed the face that you see in the pictures below. It is included inside the packaging. Each of the 3 faces is stored in its own snack size ziploc bag to avoid pieces rubbing against the silver paint. The toy will be shipped in vehicle mode. The head (sans face) is still attached, you'll just need to slide in one of the three detachable faces when you transform it. I did this to protect the faces since they slide out of the head easily.
You will receive EVERYTHING that you see in the pictures below. Included with this listing are the Classics Cliffjumper toy (sans original head) with all FansProject upgrade kit attachments, the original engine hood pieces, the original spoiler, 3 faces to attach to the head, cannon, beam gun, fan comic, collector's certification (#286 out of 300), and the package for the kit. This toy is the actual toy that was featured in the gallery at Seibertron.com.

Aside from the beautiful artwork used on this set, one of the other big attractions of this set are the facial paint differences for Starscream and Grimlock (both silver instead of black and orange respectively like they their Hasbro counterparts). At some point I used a black Sharpie permanent marker to touch up a few minor imperfections in the black paint on Starscream's canopy (very common and very minor), Jazz's waist and a spot on his windshield, and Bumblebee's bumper. Make this rare and unique set yours today!

Mr. Friedman was one of the Head Writers for the Original Transformers cartoon series for the first 2 seasons, as well as the original Transformers Movie.
