S250 posted the following translation on the
2005 Boards:
according to BlueRainGirl of actoys.net

Classics Mirage:
great vehicle mode, but robot mode is slim and not so good looking, especially his weapon
Classics Grimlock:
just like that color scheme image
2pack G1 OP
not RM mold, but the pose ability is at same level.some gimmicks in the body, not traditional weapon.
2pack Megatron
not G2 mold,new mold,better than G2(looking and articulations),inner gimmicks,the tank looks like mixed G2,Armada and TWW together.

Kickback of
TFW2005.com has recieved some new information on forthcoming Transformers Classics and Titanium releases. The source wishes to remain anonymous, but Kickback asures us this is 'the real deal'.
He writes:
Transformers Classics
- Cliffjumper
- Ramjet
I do not know their size. I do not know if Cliffjumper is a redeco or a repaint. Same goes for Ramjet. All I know is they are listed as upcoming products in the Classics line. No, nothing about a Skywarp or Thundercracker. Sorry
- Grimlock
I've seen a couple pictures. Color sheet that was shown a few weeks back looks pretty spot-on. Looks to be pretty posable, even in T-Rex form. Overall, if you can get past the different transformation (from what we've seen in pictures and the color sheet) from what we're used to, he should be a pretty good figure.
- Mirage
The best way to describe his robot mode is to have you think Energon Prowl, but not so kiddy-feeling. He does resemble G1 Mirage in vehicle mode, but he looks more like Energon Prowl in robot mode. Not sure on posability, picture was pretty small
- Jetfire
This figure could be the best figure in the line. If you enjoyed the G1 style for the jet mode, you're in luck - it's pretty much the same, even with the extra red armor/weaponry thingy whatever (I do not own a G1 Jetfire). In robot mode, he resembles mostly the G1 toy, but does have what feels like a G1 cartoon chest. Apparently he has two heads/faces? (like in War Within, a "battle mask" or whatever, so he has both cartoon and G1 toy faces/heads). Not entirely sure, couldn't tell in the picture, was actually told that.
- Mini-Cons
They're in Transformers Classics packaging. But I'm not sure if they are considered "Classics" figures, or if Hasbro is just continuing the Mini-Con releases but in Classics packaging. Most of everything coming out this fall is in the same Classics packaging, so it's hard to say. The name Nightscream was mentioned as one of the Mini-Cons. Something else about a tank, helicopter, and a boat? Again, I'm not sure, that was word of mouth, no pictures.
Transformers Titanium
The most notable figures coming out are in the 6" transformable portion of the line. I only recall a few of them and will have to double check on the rest, but here's what I got.
6" Transformable
- Optimus Primal
- Cheetor
- Ultra Magnus
- Someone from War Within? Checking...
Names listed, unsure of size
- Rodimus
- Galvatron
- Sunstreaker
- Predaking
I saw a picture of the 6" Scourge. He is G1. He does look just like the cartoon, colors and everything. And I have to agree with those who have mentioned they've seen it - he looks awesome.
That's all I have for today.
Tomorrow?
Transformers Attatix, Star Wars Transformers, and the end of Transformers Cybertron.
See kickbacks original thread for more information
here at TFW2005.
Update from Kickback:
"I can't believe I forgot this - the new Titanium 6" War Within figure is The Fallen."

Are the Binaltech & Alternator lines in danger? According to Tommy C They are.
This is what he had to say:
With souring sales of BinalTech in Japan, the PTB at Hasbro are planning to cut back drastically on the money expended on the Alternators line, since any new molds will be totally on their dime.
After Prowl there will be only one additional new mold this year, which Hasbro has plans to release in three different paint styles throughout this year and into early 2006 before the movie line is
launched. (They will unveil the mold at one of the Wizard World Comic Cons this Summer. Assuming it doesn't end up on eBay first.)
There will be multiple repaints of existing molds:
Sunstreaker (yellow & black Dead End redeco)
Trailbreaker (black & red Hound)
Swerve (red & gold Tracks)
Decepticharge (yellow & black Windcharger)
Red Alert (white & red Hound)
Skids (blue & red Prowl, sans sirens)
Hot Shot (yellow & blue Meister)
As well as the newer stock:
Wheeljack (white Grimlock)
Shockblast (blue Meister)
Battle Ravage (black Tracks)
These along with the new mold & Prowl makes over a dozen figures in 2005b & early '06. This will keep the line going thru the year while they focus on Cybertron, the Movie line and other projects coming in 2006. The latter two of which will be unveiled at
the San Diego Comic Con this fall.
Personaly, I'd be inclined to disbelieve this. We've known of Shockwave, Wheeljack and Ravage for ages. All have been released in the U.S. Several of the other characters do not jib with their supposed vehicle mode. Plus "Hotshot"? In a G1 line? I think not.
Plus, it was impossible to return mail to Tommy C and request backup info. Usually this means the rumour is nothing more than hot air. I certainly hope this is a nonsense rumour but time'll tell.

I have received an e-mail detailing the creation of a Pre Movie CGI cartoon. It was submitted through our own "Submit News" section and sender has no information as to where this knowledge came from. As such, I am treating it as a rumour until I can see about more concrete info.
Email is as following:
"Remember the CGI TF movie from Paramount Home Video that Don Murphy mentioned a few weeks ago? Following the trend of the Animatrix, last summer saw the Riddick & Van Helsing movies get an animated movie tie-in for DVD release during the theatrical run of the live action movie.
That's what the TF movie will be.
It will reportly be a prequel to the movie, telling the story of the
Great War's beginnings back on Cybertron. And it will feature quite a few more characters than will appear in the live action movie, as well as adding backstory for characters that will appear on the movie tie-in TV SERIES that will follow the feature film in 2006.
They are committed to sign all of the main movie's voice actors to this project as well. They will not comment on the main movie's actors yet, but rumors have leaked said Paramount is trying to load up the non-main movie roles with former actors from the original cartoon, reprising their 80s roles in most cases. One glaring exception so far...
Tony Todd's name has come up for the role of Grimlock.
http://www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet/PersonDetail/personid-11499
The CGI company that handled GI Joe: Valor vs Venom will produce the picture."
More info as I can find it.

This little tidbit has been floating around since yesterday:
The new movie line-up has been partially decided. Optimus Prime, Jazz,
Wheeljack, Sideswipe and Sunstreaker are the older Autobots with Brawn and
Bumblebee serving as the younger bots trying to prove themselves, and who will
be driving the main storyline. Other characters from the 1984 cast will have
cameos.
If they go ahead and film a planned prologue on Cybertron, they want to
establish Grimlock and Ultra Magnus there, to establish the backstory on their
homeworld before heading to Earth and for possible use as a set up for a sequel.
(A la Marlon Brando's scenes in the first Superman movie with General Zod, which
was reused for Superman II.)
At this point Bumblebee as a character is not set in stone. Two issues: the
name. Hasbro doesn't want BB in the movie if they can't use the name for the
toy. Makes sense I guess. And the VW license. He wasn't just called "Bumblebee"
because he was yellow & black. He was a "bug". A VW bug, but a bug nonetheless.
That's the main reason for his name. If they can't work these issues out, look
for them to just call him by another name. Like Hot Shot. Yeah.
It's not confirmed in any way, shape or form. I'm sure that there's more than a few fans who would flip out of Bumblebee was "Hot Shot" in the upcoming film.

Today we have rumors from the land of the rising sun. As many of you know Takara's Robot Masters line was released earlier this week. Already my inbox has been flooded with suggestions, thoughts, and hopes of what will be released in the next line of Univ...er...Robot Masters. As I was clicking the "delete message" button at a pace that threatened to break the sound barrier, I came across a familar contributor's name and stopped. Rumor paydirt! Check out the rumored (meaning "possibly and probably not true") list of "New Toolings" for the next wave of Robotmasters:
Ultra Magnus (probably a white Optimus Prime)
Skywarp (almost definately a repainted Starscream)
Grimlock (Yay!)
I'd be willing to bet that we do get either an Ultra Magnus (or at least a Scourge) in the next wave of Robotmasters. Skywarp (or Thundercracker) are no brainers. Let's hope that Grimlock turns out to be legit; fans don't seem satisfied with Hasbro's Energon Grimlock.

A few days ago a few surprises (alright, a LOT of surprises) showed up in Wal-Mart computers. Among them a true Energon gestalt (or combiner for those of you not familiar with the TF lingo). It appears that the combiner will debut at OTFCC. As will Wing Saber (Superion Maximus) and Energon's version of Grimlock.

Contrary to what had been floating around the ´net lately, Grimlock and Swoop will NOT be repaints of Cruellock and Divebomb. While both of those figures are in line for the repaint treatment very soon, they will not be given the names of the two best-known Dinobots. Grimlock/Swoop are new figures. They´re scheduled to make their debut at OTFCC 2004 in Chicago. Chances are pictures will leak before then, but that´s the plan at it now stands. This comes from a far more credible source than the one responsible for the "Cruellock Repaint" rumor.
