Fellow Seibertronian Whirlkick has found some Rise of the Beasts toys in the UK at Smyth's. You can read their report below. We also have reports of the 2 Beast Mode Bumblebee and Optimus toys out at Smyth's in Gillingham, first posted here by TFMJ where we can see them next to various other ROTB toys like the Smash Changers.
"The RoTB mainline figures are now available in different places the UK, such as Smyth's and The Entertainer. It seems the embargo date was April 10th so the floodgates have now opened!
The figures are showing as available on the Smyth's website, which includes figures like the mainline deluxes. When I was at Smyth's in Watford today, none of the figures were out on the shelves yet, as they hadn't yet allocated space for the new figures as there's so many of them and so little shelf space for Transformers. The UK community should keep an eye out for TF sales for non-ROTB figures at Smyth's!
I had to ask someone working there to get the figures from the back for me, which they did. I bought the mainline deluxe Bee and the Optimus/Chainclaw pack. I've included some photos, including a side by side of mainline Bee with SS Bee."
Thanks to Hasbro Pulse, we have word that live action movie fans are about to get a very special treat in honor of 2022 being the 15th Anniversary of the Live Action film franchise. That treat is a 5-pack of the original Autobot team from the 2007 movie!
The new multi-pack consists of the original 5 on-screen Autobots: Optimus Prime, Ironhide, Ratchet, Bumblebee, and Jazz. Optimus utilizes the 2nd version of the voyager mold with the more screen accurate chest, Ratchet comes with his original release saw, Bumblebee uses the later movie 1 tooling, while Ironhide and Jazz use their only mold releases to date. The figures have also been repainted with some additional paint apps, most noticeably some extra silver on Ironhide and Ratchet as well as gold highlights on Jazz.
As is typical for Studio Series, the set also comes with a backdrop, or in this case, 2 backdrops, one showing the alley where the 5 Autobots originally united, and a 2nd showing the Witwicky household where they tried to hide to hilarious effect from Sam's parents.
The preorder is stated on Pulse to be an Amazon exclusive, and retails for $141.99, a fair price given current deluxe and voyager prices. The preorder is currently open for Pulse premium members and should be open around 2 for non-Premium members. We are awaiting Amazon preorders.

Greetings Seibertronians! Following on from the announcement that Angel Manuel Soto was helming a brand new Transformers movie, unconnected to any of the other movies currently being worked on, he dropped in on the Molusco TV Podcast and while there, dropped some information about his upcoming project.
Thanks to the fine folk over at TFW2005, and in particular, the user Black Convoy, we have what he said translated, and he made some interesting comments about his movie:
Mr. Soto stated that the premises of his new Transformers movie will take place outside of United States. The story does not involve the military.
The plot is stated to be completely outside of the Bayverse.
Additionally, the director described the inception of the movie in question. He got the call from Paramount after the 2020 Sundance Film Festival where he showcased Charm City Kings. The Los Angeles production company expressed their interest to make a new and different Transformers project with him. Angel Manuel Soto personally pitched the idea to Paramount & Hasbro. The two companies liked the idea and gave a greenlight.
The Soto Transformers Project is still in an earlier stage than the upcoming DC Blue Beetle movie (also directed by Angel Manuel Soto).
The director is planning to humanize the Transformers characters on his movie (personality-wise and not design-wise). He want the robots to speak like us, in a natural way. That’s the way he remembers Transformers and the reason we felt identified with the original Transformers. He believes that when you humanize the characters, you get closer to them, love them. When there’s a human approach, you create a connection with them. If not, they are just lifeless robots.
Angel Manuel Soto is surprised to see all the reaction of fans about him directing this movie. He doesn’t want to let anybody down. While he can’t speak much details, he says that the budget is over 50 milliion dollars and it’s a challenge to manage it. He really wants to bring as much of the movie as he can to Puerto Rico.
Elsewhere, Mr. Soto stated that he always wanted to make a movie on Transformers; which he enjoyed during his childhood. Growing up, his father struggled to provide for his family but bought him Transformers toys which he loved and cherished.
Are you intrigued about this movie, knowing these tidbits?

Thanks to an update from the Transformers Official YouTube page we have a cool Friday treat for you disciples of Unicron out there. In this short video you get to see the breakdowns and making-of the official poster for the HasLab Unicron project done by none other than Marcelo Matere!
Here's the word from Hasbro on Unicron: "UNICRON stands alone as the most menacing figure in TRANSFORMERS lore, capable of devouring entire worlds and civilizations. He debuted in the 1986 film Transformers: The Movie and his insatiable appetite nearly brought the entire universe to its knees. But his legacy transcends both space and time.
The gigantic UNICRON would be the largest TRANSFORMERS figure ever created, taking the title from the previous record-holder, FORTRESS MAXIMUS. Artists and designers from Takara Tomy and Hasbro are working to capture the intricate details and features of the relentless Chaos Bringer to make this the most accurate UNICRON fans have ever seen.
In his immense robot mode, this version of UNICRON is over 27” tall and has more than 50 points of articulation. Includes fine pose-ability, such as movable eyes, fingers, mouth, and even teeth. He converts into a terrifying planet mode that is a stunning 30” in diameter. The planet mode features the iconic planet-eating jaws, geared to open so UNICRON can devour unassuming worlds. The planet mode also features a series of posable planetary rings. Comes with a stand for posing both planet & robot mode."
Unicron is on his way to our planet as we speak Seibertronians! Only the combined power of our fandom united can convert this planetary threat into a child sized toy ready to dominate our collections. Till all are one!
If you haven't backed this project yet there's still time but not much - just click HERE to head to Hasbro Pulse and put in your order for Unicron today! If Unicron does not meet the 8,000 backers needed HE WILL NOT BE MADE!
Enjoy the view and as always stay tuned to Seibertron for the ultimate in Transformers news!
Mere days after the previous news of the sudden passing of voice actor Michael Lindsay comes the unfortunate news of voice actor Robert Axelrod having passed away yesterday, September 7, 2019, at the age of 70. This news comes to us from Facebook of Mobile Monicker Productions, who represented Axelrod for his many convention appearances. Axelrod is best known for having provided the voices of Lord Zedd, Finster, and other monsters on Power Rangers, as well as several English dub anime voice roles, such as Wizardmon, Vademon, Armadillomon, Ankylomon, and Shakkoumon (w/ Dave Mallow) on Digimon, and Rico on Robotech. He also voiced Marvel Comics character Microchip in the Punisher episodes of Spider-Man: The Animated Series, and appeared in live action on an episode of Family Matters where he played a Paul McCartney lookalike.
For Transformers, he was the voice of Movor in the 2001 Transformers: Robots in Disguise cartoon. One of the Decepticon Commandos, Movor was the space shuttle member who could form an arm or leg for the combiner Ruination. He was also one of the very few Commandos to star in his own spotlight episode, "Attack from Outer Space", which had the misfortune of being one of the three episodes that was banned from ever airing on TV in the United States due to sensitivities from the September 11 attacks in 2001.
Rest in peace, Mr. Axelrod. Your performances were a treasure to behold.
Thanks to an article from Rebecca Rubin of Variety magazine, we now know that "Bumblebee", the latest installment in the live action Transformers series of movies, has raked in an additional $59.4 million USD. The prequel starring everyone's favorite kid-friendly yellow Volkswagen Beetle, opened in 9,180 locations in China this past weekend, putting the total ticket sales generated outside the United States up to $192 million USD. Adding in domestic ticket sales, the worldwide total for Bumblebee comes to $289 million. Bumblebee also opened recently in some other key non-U.S. markets in the last few days, including Columbia, India, and Poland, contributing $1.1 million, $1 million, and $486,000 respectively to that worldwide total. As a bonus, thanks to the TF Thai Fanclub on Facebook, we have a nice look at a new Chinese movie poster, featuring Bumblebee taking on the likes of Dropkick and Shatter, two new Decepticons that antagonize everyone's favorite Autobot scout in his titular movie.
What did you think of the Bumblebee movie? Do you agree with the critics that it's the best Transformers film since the inaugural "Transformers" from 2007? Are you on board with the "buzz" and getting some of the new characters and toys featured in the movie for your own collections? Let us know in the comments below, and keep it tuned to Seibertron.com for the latest news on all things Transformers!
Can't get enough buzz about the soon to be released Bumblebee movie? Dolby Cinema has got you covered with their new EXCLUSIVE movie poster! You can check out Dolby's post on their Facebook page by following this link. You should be able to spot this poster in person at theatres across the United States equipped with Dolby Cinema technology.
The poster itself shows Bumblebee looming large in the background, with his new co-star, Hailee Steinfeld, front and center, portraying Charlie Watson, the latest teen/young adult to represent the human heart of the Transformers saga. John Cena of WWE fame, turning in a performance as the new human antagonist to Bumblebee, Jack Burns of Sector Seven, can be seen standing with weapon at the ready, flanked by two of the new Decepticons for the film, Shatter (red) and Dropkick (blue), in their robot modes. Finally, a couple of fighter jets can be seen flying over the Golden Gate bridge to the right.
One of them is likely Blitzwing, who we learned quite early on was the character we assumed was Starscream when the first teasers for Bumblebee dropped earlier this year. We don't know who the other jet might be, though. Is THAT Starscream? We know he's making an appearance in the "Flashback on Cybertron" portion of the movie. Could it just be a generic Decepticon grunt? Could it be a Sector Seven vehicle? Or is it just artistic license?
We'll find out soon enough when Bumblebee finally hits theatres on December 21! How will YOU be experiencing the Bumblebee movie? Join the Buzz and let us know in the comments below! As always, stay tuned to Seibertron.com for all the latest news on all things Transformers!

Thanks to United International Pictures Singapore, among many other sources from Asia, we have a brand new Decepticon focused feature for the upcoming Transformers: Bumblebee movie! This feature focuses on the Decepticon triple changers in the movie, Shatter and Dropkick. We also get commentary from Travis Knight for our 2 big bad Decepticons, as he talks about bringing these characters to life. Indeed, it is really cool to finally see triple changers realize some potential in the films, seeing as how to date the only real triple changer was Drift, and we didn't get to see him take advantage of the awesome stuff a triple changer could really do in Age of Extinction.
Check out the mirrored video below, and let us know what you think of the upcoming Decepticons in the comments section below!
