The Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast is back to roast the news of the day. Host and roast-master ScottyP is joined by Mr. Starscream, Aarnhide19, Kuhlio and Megatronus as we light up the latest leaks, retailer-exclusives, and masterpiece combiners.
Episode #345 “The Roast” is available directly and in our RSS Feed, and should appear on Apple Podcasts and many other Podcatcher sites within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
Here's what we discuss in this episode:
We kick things off with a quick look at upcoming Amazon and Walmart retailer exclusives, which are a decidedly mixed bag with a few bugs.
We cover a few more upcoming Legacy United and Studio Series releases, including Cybertron Starscream, and 86 Blaster. Opaque Eject compels some to sing the virtue of miniature Transformers. Minicons, you say? No, never heard of them.
The Missing Link has been found, and it is gloriously roast-proof. The only question is: will this be a one-off?
Do we enjoy the MPG trainbots? Yes we do. Are they excellent robots that turn into trains? Yes they are. Is making them combine into a super robot a good idea? Yes it is. Is MPG Raiden good? The only response to that question - it's time for The Roast to begin.
40 for 40 is back: the year is 2002. Each member of the Twincast explains their favorite Transformers toy from this auspicious year for the brand.
We wrap up the episode as we always do, with a round of bragging rights.

Join the Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast consisting of your host ScottyP along with Kuhlio, Aaarnhide19 and Mr. Starscream as they discuss and extrapolate on the literal deluge of Transformers leaks for the upcoming 2024-2025 season. "40 for 40" reaches the year 2001, new toys have shown up with no prior official reveal and even Hot Wheels hit the topic list. Yes, Hot Wheels.
Episode #344 “Journey to the Pegs” is available directly and in our RSS Feed, and should appear on Apple Podcasts and many other Podcatcher sites within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
Here's what we discuss in this episode:
The show opens with some colorful banter about non-transformers super robot anime and of course, a deep esoteric discussion on the state of Hot Wheels collecting.
A new core class figure? Discovered in store!? This is some big-game hunting indeed!
It's raining Studio Series leaks for this and next year, but the big elephant in the room is the potential for a collect-a-figure combining Studio Series 86 Devastator as seen in The Transformers: The Movie. The cast generally prepares for extermination.
There's more to talk about than just movie toys to discuss, as the Mayhem Attack Squad exclusive Amazon capsule starts to take shape before our very eyes. Some surprises for sure and the cast speculates on what these character 2-packs could really be and which might cause a Ruckus.
Skybound's Transformers #5 gets some discussion time
The everlasting 40 for 40 gets interesting as we round the millennium and find ourselves in the pivotal year, 2001. As the brand began to reshape into what we know it as today, the choices aren't quite as obvious anymore and a wider breadth of products become available and with them come more opinions.
As always, we wind down a meaty discussion with bragging rights and Aaarnhide19 impresses everyone with his wide range of tastes and culture.

The Energon Universe has grown since we last discussed the Skybound Comics. The cast discusses how lending a hand (or full arm) has been received as well as the newly released Duke and Cobra Commander #1. Jump to around 1:03:30 in the audio if you wish to avoid comic book spoilers.
Takara has embraced the yellowed plastic. Thankfully Rotorstorm has some history and helps explain the upcoming Dr. Yellow inspired MPG repaint.

Who's got The Touch? You've gotta touch the dowload button for episode 340 of the Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast! Host Scotty P is joined by Megatronus, Mr. Starscream, Kuhlio, and Aaarnhide19 to talk all about everyone's favorite blowhole Titan Class Tidal Wave as well as box car Wheeljack. Haslab Deathsaurus, however, leaves no room for speculation now that he is in the hands of collectors. If Legacy Jhiaxus is an A and Shadowstriker is an F, this guy is off the grading scale altogether.
Episode #340 “Victory Lap” is available directly and in our RSS Feed, and should appear on Apple Podcasts and many other Podcatcher sites within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
Here's what we discuss in this episode:
Tidal Wave. Tidal Wave. Tidal Wave was showcased as the Titan Class figure for Legacy United.
Recently revealed Cybertronian mode Wheeljack completes the pairing with Origins Bumblebee!
A leaked listing of a possible Studio Series 86 Commander class Optimus Prime calls for much speculation.
Haslab Deathsaurus is finally here! The crew shares their thoughts now with the figure in hand.
Transformers Issue #3 is out from Skybound. SPOILERS are abound as the issue is briefly discussed.
The Machine Wars and the Beast Wars are in full gear in this week's 1997 episode of the 40 for 40 segment.
Bragging Rights finishes things off as it usually does

The Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast is back to pass judgement. Our verdict? Innocent. Join Quintesson Judge ScottyP and sharkticons Mr. Starscream, Aarnhide19 and Megatronus as we gnaw on PulseCon reveals, continue our 40 for 40 series, and more.
Episode #334 “PulseCon 2023” is available directly and in our RSS Feed, and should appear on Apple Podcasts and many other Podcatcher sites within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
Here's what we discuss in this episode:
PulseCon 2023 reveals are upon us - while not all of us were able to watch the stream live, you can catch the replay embedded in Seibertron's coverage here:
We pass judgement on the surprise art-based reveal of Commander Magmatron and not-so-surprising reveal of Titan Ark... I mean Tidal Wave.
We pass judgement on the product reveals. Animated Universe Optimus Prime? Oh yea. Beast Wars Tigerhawk. Bring it on. Rescue Bots Chase? Laser beams shooting out of our eyes. Rock Lords? Feed them to the sharkticons.
We pass judgement on the year: 1991. 40 for 40 continues, and the crew selects their favorite toy from this relatively sparse year, with some crew-members using the "it was re-released in Europe that year!" workaround.
We pass judgement on the new toys we've bought, as we wrap up with a round of bragging rights.

The Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast is back with points and counterpoints as ScottyP, Megatronus, and xRotorstormx tackle the latest Transformers news and more.
Episode #285 “Monster Mashup” is available directly and in our RSS Feed, and should appear on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher Radio and many other Podcatcher sites within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
Here's what we discuss in this episode:
HasLab watch: as of our recording, Victory Saber has surpassed 9000 backers. We discuss the likely trajectory from here out, and the strong possibility of unlocking all tiers, including the accidentally revealed shield.
Leak Lists: Retailer Exclusives, Beast Wars Reissues, RED, Shattered Glass, Generations Selects, Legacy, and Studio Series, to name a few. We sift through and point out the notable characters we're most excited about.
Two Target exclusives have gone up for preorder: Kingdom Road Rage and Crossover Universal Monsters Draculus. We're oddly into Draculus and the possibility of additional Universal Crossovers. Draculus is sold out, but Road Rage is available here.
"Classics Retrospective" continues. This time we're looking at 2011 and 2012, up until Botcon 2012. That includes Reveal the Shield, ongoing Generations releases, and the weird, tail end of United - and even the stray exclusives such as United Target Masters, Million Publishing Stepper, and Amazon's 25th Anniversary Unicron. We have our favorites.
Bragging rights! What has everyone gotten since last time?

Welcome to the latest episode of the Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast. This very special 200th episode features fan-favorite writer and artist of many IDW Transformers comics, Nick Roche, as he sits down for his first interview about the upcoming Requiem of the Wreckers! He's joined by your host Scotty P as well as Va'al. For the rest of the episode, the team of Counterpunch, Razorclaw0000, Tigertrack, xRotorstormx, and Megatronus help out in the proceedings. Listen in as we discuss what has changed and what lies ahead.
Episode #200 "Requiem of the Twincast" is available directly and in our RSS Feed, and should appear on iTunes, Google Play, and Stitcher Radio within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
We begin our 200 victory lap with the man behind Requiem of the Wreckers, and architect of the wider Wreckers mythology: Nick Roche himself. Goofball extraordinaire Va'al and our tireless host ScottyP join Nick for a robust conversation about the latest Wreckers installment, which comprises the first 90 minutes of the episode. Our incisive interviewers begin with the genesis of Requiem, and how Kup's death sets the story in motion. We learn a great deal about the development of Springer & Verity, and what (literal, figurative) roads we can expect these characters to travel down.
More car than helicopter this time, really.
Our conversation with Nick Roche continues with an analysis of Sins, and how that story of loneliness and isolation gives way to something entirely different in Requiem. For general comics enthusiasts, we go plenty deep into the mechanics of storytelling, how certain narratives come to be driven by characters versus conflicts, and Roche's comfort transitioning from drawing humans to robots. We also learn more about the role Mayhem may play in future stories, what to expect from the IDW reboot, and of course, Unicron.
He still is!
Of course, Scotty is also giving away five copies of this one-shot in a totally-not-official-or-site-sponsored giveaway! Just comment on this story on our Energon Pub Forums and tell us what the Wreckers stories have meant to you for your chance to win. On the comic's release day, Scotty will randomly choose five winners and contact them via Private Message. One international winner will be chosen while four United States residents will have a chance, so be sure to include your location - and Seibertron.com staff, sorry, even though this isn't official you aren't eligible for this giveaway.
You can be a winner too
ScottyP takes the episode forward by... looking backward. Counterpunch joins the dialogue as our podcast hosts, past and present, embark on a Twincast retrospective. What has changed personally since the show first started 8 years ago, and how have we seen the brand evolve in that time? Change is life's only constant, after all (cliche much?), and we're all for looking at it under a microscope.
Change: more complicated than a One-Step.
Following this deep dive into the annals of history, ScottyP caps off his time traveling journey in the present, where he joined by Twincast regulars Razorclaw0000, Tigertrack, xRotorstormx, and Megatronus for a handful of well thought out and appreciated Listener voicemails. Let's listen, shall we?
We start off with news team member WilliamJames88, who wants to know what our favorite Transformers toy lines since 2010 have been. To much shock and bewilderment, no one chooses Titans Return of Masterpiece - what were we thinking? Then, frequent listener and friend of the pod Joevill recounts being convinced by Razorclaw0000 that Dark of the Moon Legion class Hatchet is pretty awesome. We agree - and hope to see you again at a convention soon.
The best Transformer, ever???
The mighty Samsonator wants to know what's changed since starting the show - thereby giving license to the rest of the cast to chaotically riff on ScottyP and Counterpunch's previous segment. We look back with affection. Then, sometimes cast member and always pal Mr. Starscream says listening to the podcast is like hanging out with your friends, no matter where you are, which leads to some fun Twincast anecdotes and listener appreciation.
Just getting by with a little help from our friends.
Frequent commenter and insightful boards poster Flashwave asks what toys we've been memorably Counterpunched into, and if any of those items were memorable for being great or a dud? We also get into what lines we're just relieved to be no longer hunting. Then, Ultra-Australian UltraMarginal wants to know what our favorite G1 toys are - his is a tie between Jazz and Skids. This gives the Twincast a chance to reminisce on our favorites, and what has managed to hold up (or not) over the years.
With super science action!
We conclude this episode with a special message from news team member Bronzewolf, and look forward to more episodes to come - excelsior!
For your consideration: a literal bronze wolf.
