Come one, come all! We have a little news roundup on some Bumblebee movie news, starting with (drumroll please):
Soundwave speaks! Yes we get to here his fine, autotuned voice. In this same clip, we see new footage of Bumblebee talking to Optimus Prime, as well as some more footage of Bumblebee and Blitzwing fighting. Any viewers from China? Well, today we have a confirmation of a release date: January 4th, 2019, two weeks after the North American showing. The article that tells us this comes from Variety.
In a similar vein, Tencent Pictures is collaborating with Paramount Pictures to properly import and distribute the movie, as well as advertising and promotion in mainland China. This is good news, as it is very likely this company can help improve sales in China, which often times, ends up being where much of the movies' profit comes from. Thanks to Seibertron.com podcasters xRotorstormx and megatronus, from two separate areas of the United States, we have some officially Transformers licensed Jada Toys news to share: the sighting of the Hollywood Rides Volkswagen Bumblebee RC toy!
Coming from both Michigan and Manhattan, and both found at Costco (including on the online store here) for $49.99, the toy is an RC 1:12 VW bug with monster truck wheels for all terrains. We knew of the Camaro Bumblebee and the Optimus Prime truck from previous stories, but this one is relatively out of nowhere. Check out the images below, and let us know what you think!
In the ongoing tale of Takara releasing simplified Transformers well after Transformers: The Last Knight has rolled through theaters and DVD stands alike, we have 3 new listings and sets of images for you to check out in the form of 1-step Turbo Changers Drift, Hot Rod, and Slug!
These 3 figures were all released in the United States during The Last Knight toyline, and are now getting released by Takara. Hot Rod was only available in a 2-pack with Bumblebee, while Slug and Drift were available on their own. In a very strange twist, Slug and Drift come in the decos they sported in Age of Extinction, rather than the new paint schemes they used in The Last Knight. Why this decision was made, we do not know. All 3 figures are available via Amazon Japan, and you can go check out each listing by following the links above or by clicking any of their images below.
WhatNot Toys will be distributing the Herocross line of Transformers Super Deformed action figures in the United States. We have known of these toys for some time and they will surely look familiar to fans, and soon you will be able to own them without needing to import them or purchase them from a collectables store. The line will include 2 inch and 4 inch figures of Bumblebee, Hound, Megatron, Optimus prime, Hot Rod, Sqweeks and Crosshairs all modeled after their looks in Transformers: The Last Knight.
These toys were present at Toyfair and Seibertron was there to take some pictures.

This toy is a brand new mold based on his original 2007 Movie design. This Optimus Prime features an intricate transformation that makes him the most movie accurate figure to date of the Autobot Leader. The figure is currently available for the price of $99.99 US dollars in Toys R Us stores across the United States.
Special thanks goes out to YouTube reviewer emgo316 for showing how to get pretty close to transforming this figure properly. We figured out an easier method after watching his video by squeezing the front side barrels upward while pressing downward on the roof top and making sure other panels along the way pegged in and lined up properly so that the smokestacks also plugged in correctly. Overall, it took about 2 hours to get this figure properly transformed correctly in truck mode. I'm sure many of you can beat it once you figure out how to do it correctly. His video can be found below the sample images from the gallery of Masterpiece Movie Series MPM-4 Optimus Prime below.

For those of you who just read about the Flip and Change Bumblebee being sighted at Walmart, you can find the similarly styled Transformers The Last Knight Flip and Change HOT ROD figure via Walmart.com. Both Flip and Change Bumblebee and Hot Rod are part of Walmart's exclusive Autobots Unite sub-line. In addition, you can also view his product images, which have been mirrored below.
As of this post, Flip and Change Bumblebee was not currently available at Walmart.com. In addition, no other Last Knight Hot Rod products were available either, all of which are exclusive to Walmart in the United States.

LOS ANGELES, CA (June 29, 2017) – Fans of the Transformers movie franchise will finally know what it’s like to battle a Decepticon up close and personal, as film director Michael Bay takes VR to the next level with "Transformers: The Last Knight" VR Experience, Friday, June 30 for a limited time, free of charge, only in the IMAX VR centres at AMC Kips Bay 15 in New York City and across from The Grove in Los Angeles and in select AMC Theatres lobbies.

Age Of Extinction per Deadline’s film finance sources, minted a profit of $250M after all ancillaries with an estimated $30M in revenue coming from merchandising — the real reason why studios continue to keep these dusty franchises in business, particularly with the wane of home entertainment monies. Age Of Extinction and 2011’s Dark Of The Moon cleared $1.1 billion and $1.12B at the global box office, respectively, and the trick for Paramount is getting Last Knight to that same result.
