Some more news has come out of United Kingdom ToyFair. This time it is information about a new Star Wars Transformers.
Action-figure.com has reported that there will be a Star Wars Transformers Darth Vader who transforms into the Death Star. Here is what they reported:
"The item in question is a new Star Wars Transformer. It's Darth vader, and the one I saw stood 10 - 12" tall (at a guess). Whilst I don't collect the Star Wars Transformers line, I instantly recognised that it wasn't the one that transforms into Darth Vader's TIE Fighter.
Instead this one transforms into the Death Star. I didn't see it transformed, so have no idea how good or bad it looks, but I expact we'll see it at the US ToyFair next month."

botcon website has posted an update on BotCon 2007. The following
announcement has been taken directly from their site.

We have a few NEW details about BotCon 2007!
The hotel for BotCon is the Westin Providence Hotel in
Providence, Rhode Island. The show dates are June 28 - July 1.
BotCon is not in the hotel computer system, but will be
soon. DON'T CALL YET! There will be a discount code
which we will pass along as soon as we get it from the hotel.

Our own shockwaveuk has brought us some bad news for Transformers fans in the United Kingdom.
Transforce 2007 has been cancelled. The following message has been posted on the
Transforce website:
"Unfortunately I have had to postpone Transforce 2007. This is mainly due to financial considerations. I hope very much to be able to announce a new date either late in 2007 or in early 2008.
I hope this does not cause too much inconvenience, and as always thank you all for your continued support.
Don't forget there is still Auto Assembly 2007!"

YouTube.com, announced the return of the Transforce convention in 2007. Transforce is a United Kingdom Transformers convention. The last one was held in 2004. Right now the Transforce 2007 is set for April 2007.

We have received an email from Simon and Sven of Auto Assembly: Target 2006. They have announced their cut-off dates for booking in the United Kingdom. Here is their message:
"Auto Assembly: Target 2006 UK Bookings Cut-Off Date
Auto Assembly: Target 2006, the UK Transformers convention taking place on Saturday 3rd of June in Birmingham, England has now set the FINAL cut-off date for pre-registrations for all bookings from fans within the UK wishing to attend the convention. Please read this carefully as there are two dates depending on how you intend to pay and there are final details of how on-the-door places will be announced should any be available...
First, if you intend to book via post and pay by cheque then you will need to get your booking to us by Saturday 20th May 2006 AT THE LATEST to guarantee your place at the convention. This will allow us plenty of time to present your cheque to the bank, for it to clear and for us to make sure that your booking confirmations and information packs are shipped to you in time for the convention! If you are paying by postal order or cash (and we must stress that cash is sent at your own risk), then this deadline is extended to Saturday 27th May 2006.
If you are booking online and paying by PayPal, then the FINAL deadline is Saturday 27th May 2006. As payments are processed immediately, we will be able to ship your confirmation slips by Tuesday 30th May 2006 first class so they will reach you by Thursday 1st June 2006 at the latest.
Please note that we can not guarantee to process bookings after these deadlines or dispatch confirmation slips in time for the event, especially with the bank holiday at the end of May, so you may be disappointed or not receive your slips in time.
With regards to on-the-door places, we will post details on the Auto Assembly website, forum and issue details through all major Transformers websites as to the number of on-the-door places available on Saturday 27th April 2006 should there be any. However, these will be on a first-come, first-served basis so we would advise that you arrive at the convention early to ensure your best chance of admission to the convention. If in doubt, pre-register.
Auto Assembly: Target 2006 is now FIVE WEEKS away... there are no other Transformers conventions planned for the UK for 2006 so this is your only chance to attend an event this year unless you are planning on travelling overseas. We are still in talks to bring further guests to the convention in addition to the NINE already confirmed and we hope to have more activities to announce shortly, not to mention the now infamous goodie bag that all attendees will receive full of free gifts!
As there are now only three weeks before the postal bookings cut-off, please ensure that you send your bookings to us NOW to avoid disappointment!

Toronto TransformersCon; Canada’s 5th annual Transformers convention will be held on April 28th and 29th, 2006. This year’s program includes special guests Don Murphy, producer on the live action Transformers movie (2007) and Transformers voice actor Michael McConnohie. They will be attending the show as part of the Saturday events on April 29th, 2006.

Don Murphy is well-known for several blockbuster Hollywood films including Natural Born Killers, Permanent Midnight, Apt Pupil, From Hell, and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Currently, he is producing Shoot ‘Em Up starring Clive Owen, which just finishing filming. Don Murphy will be taking part in a question-answer panel, signing autographs and taking photographs with fans. Don Murphy is a producer for the live action Transformers movie by Dreamworks Pictures, with Executive Producer Stephen Spielberg and Director Michael Bay, which is scheduled for release on July 4th, 2007. Michael McConnohie, who has a wealth of experience doing voices for various children’s cartoons, video games and more. Also scheduled to be at Toronto TransformersCon 2006 are adept comic book artists
Joe Ng and Alex Milne. They are known by Transformers fans for their work on many of the Dreamwave Transformers comic books including Generation One, The War Within, Transformers Energon, and Transformers More Than Meets the Eye. Joe Ng’s current project is the G.I. Joe versus Transformers: Art of War miniseries by publisher Devil’s Due and UDON Studios. Rob Ross and UDON Chief Erik Ko from this latest series will also be in attendance.

2006 Convention Exclusive Cover to GIJoe vs. Transformers #1 by UDON Studios will be available at Toronto TransformersCon. Limited to only 1000 copies this edition features original art by Transformers Comic Artist Joe Ng. Another item available through Toronto TransformersCon 2006 is a "Stealth" Cyclonus Bust produced by Hard Hero. Limited to 100 pieces, it was the last bust produced by Hard Hero, but never saw release until now.

We have received another update about the upcoming Toronto TransformersCon. They have announced that Rik Alvarez from the Transformers Advisory Council to Hasbro's Transformers Collector's Club will at TransformersCon. He will host a panel and answer questions about the Official Club and Convention. Here is the update from the people running TransformersCon:
