Ok so lots of new sightings and even new reveals through sightings to get through.
Manitoba, Canada, seems to be the first place where the Walmart exclusive Transformers Best Wars reissues were found but they have popped up in other areas of the country since, like BC and Ontario. Cheetor and Rattrap are both 32.97 which Optimus Primal and Megatron are 69.97 each. The images below all come from the Cybertron.ca board. These may not show up in the US for another month or two as we saw from the initial release of vintage Transformers at Walmart in 2018.
As you can see from the Rattrap image, from TF fan SPLIT LIP, Canadian Walmarts also have the new Rescue Bot Dinobot two packs.
JonoPrime on the Cybertron baords also found leader class Slag in an Onatrio Walmart.
In Ontario, someone found never before seen toys as part of the Buzzworthy Bumblebee line at Toysrus. Those are Bumblegrim and Primelock. Both have Grimlock as the pants and each set gives you a new deco of the Grimlock mold that came out in the Robots in Disguise crash combiner line. The sighting comes from @CybertronBeast on Twiter.
Greetings Seibertronians! Today I bring good news for all Transformer fans in the United Kingdom! As, we've learned from toy reviewer, Thew's twitter account, and fellow Seibertron user, Blackeyedprime, that Hasbro had finally set up the UK arm of their Hasbro Pulse website!
This means another place for UK Transformer fans to get their figures and future Exclusives from (indeed, you can preorder the recently revealed Transformers Selects G2 Ramjet figure). Currently the Transformers selection is limited to the releases seen this year so far (Studio Series 86 wave 1 deluxes, Voyagers and leader Grimlock, Studio Series Bumblebee Voyager Class Starscream, Deluxe B127 and Dino, all Kingdom Waves 1 + 2, as well as all crossover figures made so far.)
It should also be pointed out that the Buzzworthy Bumblebee releases are also featured under the Exclusives tab, along with MPM-12 Bumblebee Movie Optimus Prime.
Hopefully going forward, we'll see a greater synchronisation between what is released in the American store and the UK one, meaning we shouldn't miss out on any future exclusives but time will tell on that.
Hasbro are advertising a special offer for buyers wishing to join their premium subscription, as seen in the image below:
It's not all good news however, as expected, its UK only meaning European Transformer fans, among many others will not be able to buy from the site unless having a UK postal address.
So what does our UK fans think about this news then? Excited about getting exclusives straight from the source?
Shout out in the Energon Pub and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews!
A photo, first posted in the "Transformers Collectors Group" page, of a nicely stocked Walmart made the rounds on Facebook. While the shelves weren't overflowing, there was lots of new stock like the latest Cyberverse deluxe toys, the Netflix figures, SS86 Grimlock and the second wave of Headmasters. These are redecos of headmasters we got in Titans Return using the Japan exclusive heads the Takara versions had. And they come in G1 packaging. Wave 2 consists of Weirdwolf, Highbrow and Skullcruncher. There is no word yet if Weirdwolf has been fixed or not (both the Hasbro and Takara version had major breakage issues).
This sighting comes from California but these are apparently making their way across the US.
Fellow Seibertronian aronjlove along with others have told us that Transformers SS 86 Grimlock is being found at Walmarts. He started to trickle in since late last week and should be more available as the days progress. We are getting sightings from across the US. Below you will see images from aronjlove along with images from Pun-3X and foxracing who posted on the TFW2005 boards. You will see comparison shots with leader Beast Wars Megatron and MP Grimlock.
Fellow Seibertronian Sowndwave76 has sent us images of new G1 Transformers statues being sold at Target. They are from the Zoteki line and each are being sold at Target for $7.99 USD. Sightings have been found across the US for these.
The bases of the statues can be connected to complete a full scene of the 6 figures I saw-- Megatron, Soundwave, Starscream, Optimus Prime, Grimlock (in Dino mode), and Bumblebee.
We have gotten several reports of new Transformers Buzzworthy Bumblebee toys found at Target. These are rereleases of the Cyberverse spark armour figures. We have the Megatron pack which is unchanged and a Bumblebee pack where the armour is a redeco of the garbage truck armour that came with Grimlock. They are just shy of $25 a piece. For those wondering, this line is basically to have more Bumblebee product on the shelves. All previous Studio Series Bumblebee toys have sold out, so here is another chance for fans and families to get some along with other toys for different age groups. No different than another Batman line from Mattel/Spin Master really, to have more toys of a company most famous characters on the shelves.
We also have a video review from our own Chuckdawg for the core class Bumblebee figure that comes with Spike.
chuckdawg1999 wrote:The Buzzworthy line is a celebration of all things Bumblebee, and I love it. This figure, a surprise right at the end of 2020, looks to fit in with the Kingdom Core Class figures. Transformation is relatively easy, any issues are due to the size and ball joints being ball joints, and I have to tip my hat to the weapon storage. Spike, while being simple, is a fun little addition. All in all, a great set.
Walmart Canada has some new Transformers toys that were not seen in the country before. These are the 10 inch Grimlock and Starscream from the Authentics line. They are leader sized but at the deluxe price. So very simple, yet big and inexpensive for younger fans to have a big transforming toy that they can transform by themselves and that wont break the bank. These use the Evergreen designs we have seen in the past.
They were 19.99 CAD, 15 USD. The previous wave was exclusive to Walmart in Canada, so this will probably be the same. You can see images of the toys along with their transformation schemes below.
While the Studio Seires SS 86 voyagers were found in Australia a few days ago, it was in the small chain, Toyworld. But now, they have been found in Kmart. And not only that, but the SS 86 deluxe class toys, Jazz, Kup, & Blurr, have also been found there. Ozformers posted about this on their Facebook page providing info on the exact location and why they think they were put on shelves early:
When the Voyagers were found at a couple of Toyworlds in Victoria last week, it was assumed to be another case of Toyworld releasing toys too early, but today they were being found at Kmart stores in Victoria, along with the Deluxe wave as well... so it looks like this next wave of Studio Series toys, featuring characters from the 1986 Transformers Movie, are indeed being released early in Australia (before any other country), to cash in on Christmas.
Fingers crossed we see these at more stores around the country, and the Leader pack (Grimlock with Wheelie) as well.
(photos here are from the Allspark fansite and TCCA)
It has been gradual, but Toysrus is now reopening all their stores in Canada. Of course there are changes, such as single direction arrows, plexi glass, purel stations and a moretorium on in store events, but at least Canadians can go back in stores and get toys for their kids or themselves. Their Transformers section is fully stocked and it even includes some new sightings for Canadians. The latest Cyberverse deluxe toys are there, Grimlock and Hot Rod, and they also have the two Gold Rush Botbots sets. All these toys mentioned are $29.99 CAD.
The latest series of Transformers Cyberverse Tiny Turbo Changers toys, series 3, is out now in Canada. Below you will find the codes for this series along with images of all the new toys in this set which includes Arcee, Ratchet and Megatron X.
A -Bumblebee
B -Optimus Prime
C -Grimlock
E -Jetfire
A2 -Skrapnel
B2 -Whirl
C2 -Chromia
D2 -Dead End
E2 -Arcee
F2 -Ratchet
G2 -Megatron X
H2 -Stealth Force Hot Rod
These were found by Oniconvoy who posted their sighting on the TFW2005 boards. They found these at the Burlington, Ontario, Toysrus. Below you will find images taken by them along with more images from previous sightings in Taiwan.
