It's a Christmas miracle!!!!!!!! While we are very adamant about not checking desperately at Walgreens for transformers exclusives until they have been reported, we are happy to now report that Minerva was found there. Specifically at a California location. We knew this toy was in the US for a long while but Walgreens always puts up their toys later, with this year really pushing it far into the holiday season. But it's been found, that's what matters. So maybe checking your nearby Walgreens might not be a wasted trip anymore. The image of proof of purchase comes from Zombie F Body who posted their find on the TFW2005 board.
Here is a review of the toy if ever you want to see it more in depth.
Fellow Seibertronian o.supreme has found a new endcap at Walmart featuring the latest releases in Walmart's exclusive Beast Wars reissue line. That sighting comes from the California area. He also poses some good questions regarding the line so fi any of you wish to chime in, you can write in the comments or join in on the discussion on our forums.
o.supreme wrote:One Walmart near me got the endcap display of retro Retrax and Wolfgang. Still mostly full, dosen't seem to be a high demand. I just wonder how the decision was made to rerelease these? Maybe the molds wee easily accessible? I would have thought they'd stick with characters that appeared in the Mainframe animated series.
The image below is from a similar sighting by T-Hybrid from TFW2005.
In case this helps some UK fans out there, Transformers Legacy Wave 3 is out at UK retail. cynw32618 found them at Smyths. That includes the 4 deluxes and 2 voyagers (Armada Starscream and Beast Wars Inferno)
American fans will notice a Cosmos on the shelf just chilling and that's a common sight across Smyths stores in Europe since they received solid cases.
Some Americans cried foul at the latest new sightings not being in the US but there's plenty of new sightings to go around. The following are the latest new US sightings for Transforners toys:
These were all found by various members of tfw2005.com and you can click the links to get to the source..
Many fans were worried that the shelves of their local stores being overstocked with old product would mean nothing new would come in but these sightings should put those fears ro rest.
We share with you a report of the first wave of Transformers Legacy Evolution deluxe figures found in the Philippines. These were found at a Toysrus. The wave includes Needlenose, Breakdown, Hotshot and Scraphook. The sighting comes from the Cybertron Philippines Facebook page. This is good news, it means these toys are ready for international distribution so they could make it to the west sooner rather than later.
Oh happy day! The Transformers Earthspark Toyline has been released in Canada. And not just in any old fashion but with its own three way showcase set up. The toys found were:
Deluxe Megatron
Deluxe Bumblebee
Deluxe Twitch
One Step Optimus Prime
One Step Wheeljack
One Step Bumblebee
Warrior Skywarp
Warrior Optimus Prime
Warrior Elita One
Tacticon Optimus Prime
Tacticon Megatron
Tacticon Bumblebee
This particular sighting comes from the Montreal (Quebec) area. It's about time the toys showed up since both the show and the holiday shopping season are in full swing. There will be reviews for these toys coming out soon as well and we will share them with you as they come in. While the toys did not scan at the price check, they did scan at the cash registers and were available to purchase.
While the toy has been found in stores, many fans are still looking for Transformers Studio Series 86 Rumble (Blue) which is still on preorder at other online collector shops. Well Amazon has him right now, for the retail price of $11.99 with free prime shipping, of course. So just a heads up for those who wanted one hassle free.
Looks like shelves will be full this holiday season in Canadian Walmarts with lots of new product finally coming in. Galaxy Shuttle was found in several Ontario Walmarts as was the latest wave of Studio Series deluxes, the one including Crosshairs and TLK Hot Rod. Toysrus has restocked on the sought after Buzzworthy SS 86 Cliffjumper and Kup and now has the Legacy wave 3 deluxes (EB Games has been getting preorders in for Wave 3 deluxes as well). And it's that time of year where pharmacies stock up on toys too, so wave 2 deluxes from Legacy have even been found at Jean Coutu locations in Quebec.

Fellow Seibertronian blurrprime has a very random but very fun video review for us. They found these Mr Potatoe Head Transformers Happy Meal toys at McDonalds today. They are part of a set that also has Bumblebee and Grimlock along with My Little Poney characters making this a Hasbro IP three way crossover. These are in Malaysia but may appear at any McDonalds worldwide at a later date as these are not linked to any show or movie in particular.
While the third wave of deluxe figures from the Transformers Legacy line were found in the US about a month ago, they finally reached Canadian stores. They were found at Toysrus stores in Ontario and Quebec, with this specific sighting here from Pointe Claire Toysrus in the Montreal area.. Sadly, this means they skipped wave 2, which was found at EB Games but never at Toysrus. Some fellow Seibertronians have mad reviews of these toys so we posted them below. You can see reviews for Point Blank and Skullgrin.
Have you seen these in your local store yet? Let us know and enjoy these reviews!
chuckdawg1999 wrote:It's nice to see an update to the classic Targetmasters of old, especially when they include their partners. Pointblank is a surprisingly complex deluxe figure whose transformation results in a very, very clean car mode that at first glance doesn't reveal robot kibble; one of the benefits of being a futuristic car. Peacemaker is a very simple partner with only two points of transformation, then again I'm just glad it wasn't another reuse of a Weaponizer. I definitely recommend Pointblank as it's nice to see later G1 represented.
chuckdawg1999 wrote:There's a lot going on here with Skullgrin, not all of it is good. The figure looks nice if not a little small, that might be due to the overly large head that looks really good. Unfortunately, the head is marred by rubber tusks that due to shipping, will probably be warped and falling off the figure out of the package. Transformation is surprisingly involved, just don't trust the instructions completely as there are a couple of unclear bits. One thing I really like is the modular play factor between the gun swords and the back cannons, yes the gun swords come warped and frankly, I don't understand why since they're packaged in tissue paper under the tray. Skullgrin is very good but it's the issues with the soft rubber tusks that make it very hard for me to recommend a purchase.
