We thank EvasionModeBumblebee for letting us know that JTPrime17 has jotted down the wave breakdown of the 2025 Studio Series line.
We knew these were coming, but now we see around when they should be coming out and what the wavemates are. For instance, we see that Hatchet will be in wave 1, and we see when we are getting rereleases of 86 Grimlock, TF7 Prime, 86 Perceptor and 86 Jazz.
The second wave of Transformers Legacy United had a planned stocking date of April 1st and so fans are indeed already finding these "newly revealed" toys on retail shelves. In the US, the wave 2 voyagers were found at Target. We have an image from fellow Seibertronian TF-fan kev777 below. That wave includes Cybertron Starscream and Silverbolt.
The same voyagers were also found at Canadian Gamestops.
Speaking of Gamestop, US Gamestops are currently starting to stock the wave 2 Legacy United deluxes. Those include Chromia, Gears and Shard (with an Animated Bumblebee repack). The Autobot 5 pack with that now mythical earth mode Hound was also found at US Gamestops, while it was found at Toysrus stores in Canada.
We have some reviews of all toys mentioned, below.
As usual Jtprime17 has found us some new listings for figures with no context to explain them, in this case it's "Swapticon". The prevailing theory is that they're some sort of modular figures that can swap parts among each other, perhaps a spiritual successor to the long defunct Hero Mashers line from 2014. Another theory is that these are similar to the Beast Combiners figures from the Rise of the Beasts movie line since all appear to be two packs. But what's getting the most attention isn't the mystery concept but the lineup and includes Clench packed with Nemesis Prime.
With nothing else to really say about this line here's the listings that have been uncovered.

We're still a few days away from the official reveal of MP-60 Ginrai and MPG-09 Super Ginrai on April 10, but a new batch of solicitation images have surfaced. Coming via HK retailer HobbyLand (via TFW2005) the new images are not just clearer but also include more looks at the figures and the accessories they both come with. Of note is replacement red eye lenses for Super Ginrai to give him toy accurate eyes, as well as some additional effect parts. Pre-orders will likely open the same day as the full reveal and both will be released in December. Apparently, thanks to some counting system, MP-60 is actually the 100th MP release and the instruction will include a book to commemorate the milestone (that's the blue box in the bottom corner of the last image).
Do the new pictures change your feelings for these figures? Do you plan on buying one, both or neither? Let us know in the Seibertron Energon Pub Forums!
Swoop became almost instantly sold out from Amazon and Hasbro Pulse, the two places where many fans pay extra for free shipping. But he is still available for preorder at collector oriented sites like Big Bad Toy Store. The link is below. Amazon still has preorders available for the other Studio Series toys that were officially revealed at the same time as Swoop, along with the new TMNT crossover figure and the reissue of Ectotron.
One of the worst kept secrets in the Legacy line has finally been revealed thanks to users ZetcaReturns and ZipperMan29x over on TFW2005. Even without leaked listings showing this figure was coming in wave 3 it was obvious to anyone that took a quick glance at Legacy Evolution Shadow Striker that she was a pre-tool of Robots in Disguise Universe Sideburn. Unfortunately, unlike the recent trend of making shared tools of two different characters within the same line stand out by changing things up a bit, the only tooling difference between Sideburn and Shadow Striker is the heads. If you were hoping for at least a more realistic looking front end to the car that's unfortunately not happening.
Sideburn will be coming in the summer alongside Cybertron Hot Shot, Infernac Nucleus, a refresh of Strongarm, Cybertron Vector Prime and Armada Galvatron.
We have quite a few new images to share with you below, all from Hasbro. Firstly, Evan Brooks, the Hasbro designer behind Swoop, wrote an Instagram post about the toy and includes new images. We get a better idea of the wingspan, which seems G1 (show) accurate and we get that important group shot.
Also, we know that Hasui is the Takara engineer behind this release, as with all the other Dinobots. He's the master behind MP 10, HFTD Leader Starscream, Titan Devastator and so much more.
We then have official images of the Studio Series 2024 wave 2 deluxes, voyager and leader from Hasbro, showing their in package images. Enjoy!
If you've got pre-orders out for Target's exclusive Studio Series 86 Blaster or Legacy United Origin Wheeljack then watch your mail because those two are showing up at homes this week! And if you didn't pre-order and want to take a chance at finding them in stores then your gamble may pay off. Thanks to our own Seibertronian TF-fan kev777 we've got our first in store sighting for both figures. Pretty fast turnaround when it was less than two weeks ago that pre-orders for Wheeljack opened up and less than a month for Blaster. And the best part is that the sighting photos shows Generations Voyagers are currently at a reduced price of $29.99! Not yet verified to be the effective price for either Target exclusive, but with United wave 2 Voyagers beginning to show up in stores it may be a good time to do a little hunting!
The newly revealed Transformers Studio Series toys were on display at Wondercon allowing fans to check them out.
Toy Shiz posted a video of the various toy displays which includes Swoop. Below are screen caps of that video, giving us our best look yet at the figure in both modes which are very G1 accurate. Preorders for this figure go up next thursday.
Here he is, LEADER 86 SWOOP. He was revealed officially by Hasbro at Wondercon a little while ago. Below are some images shared across social media where we see both modes.
Fans were also teased with announcements that these figures would be coming out:
-RID Sideburn
-Cybertron Hot Shot
-Infernac Nucleous
-Vector Prime
