Does that face in the thumbnail look Arcee-esque to you? Well, according to some sources, they have information that indeed the Alternator Dragstrip mold will see the light of day in Japan as Arcee!?!



Not only that, but there is also a piece of the translation that says that there will be a bright green repaint of the BT-Convoy mold??? Who or what that is to be is undetermined, but Nevermore, and Moonbug at THE ALLSPARK had a translation for a possible Tiger Convoy.



Will these see the light of day continuing the Binaltech line as the new BT-21, and BT-22, or is this just an early April Fool's Day joke?

Update 3/26/08
Several online retailers now have pre-orders available for these two figures. Their release date is scheduled for July 17, 2008.

BBTS has received word that the colored picture of Convoy BT-22 is “not final color – prototype only”.

A new listing has been discovered on Amazon Japan showing new images of an upcoming black repaint of Movie Deluxe Arcee. The listed price is 2,200 Yen for the pre-order. The figure is due to be released in February. Here are the images provided by the seller:

One of the features of Botcon this year was the Hasbro Tour. 250 lucky attendee’s were loaded up on 2 separate visits to the Hasbro factory. A lot was shown and you can expect a full gallery from Ryan in the upcoming week. One of the things that was talked about however was the future of the 6" Titanium toy line. From what was said there will not be anymore after WWI Prowl and WWI Grimlock. However that could just be no more new molds as several repaints were featured at Botcon. Nothing was said of the 3" Titanium future.

Just a teaser some of the axed Titanium's were WWI Bumblebee (and Cliffjumper head), G1 Arcee, Cosmos and WWI Shockwave. But you'll have to wait for the galleries to see what could have been!

We all found out a while back that Arcee would be included in the Transformers Movie toy line. Well eBay seller eptoys71 has recently sold a blue re-paint of Energon: Arcee and claims it is not a re-paint. Take this with a pinch of salt as it is still a rumor until we see it in package. Fellow Seibertronian ShockwaveUK has let us know about a few new listings on Forbiddenplanet.co.uk.

Firstly there are 3 NEW listings for Titanium Movie figures which include: Bumblebee, Incinirator and Optimus Prime. There are no pictures yet but check out the listing here!

They also have a listing for the previously seen 20th Anniversary statue of Unicron standing over Rodimus and Arcee, Nothing new but its good to see these are making it across the pond to the UK.

S250 of TFW2005.com has posted a series of possible prototype images, all three being repaints of Energon Arcee.

Identities are currently up for speculation, although the green and white one bears a strong resemblance to the Paradron Medic Japanese exclusive repaint.

Hot on the heels of Universe Snowcat and Downshift TFormers.com have come across a few images of Transformers Energon Omibots Arcee, Energon Strongarm, Doom-lock, and Windrazor in Energon style (not the Cybertron style we have seen with Snowcat and Downshift) packaging but under the Transformers Universe banner. What is interesting is it appear unlike previous Universe releases they haven't been repainted, but simply repackaged. See the images here and make you own mind up.

UPDATE: Kickback of TFW2005.com has this to say on the subject:

These are intended for the small retail chain markets, like Big Lots, Dollar General, Family Dollar, etc. This is a new venture for Hasbro as they have never marketed Transformers to these types of stores. These figures will be relatively cheap in price, a good way to pick up some extra figures if you need them.

It would seem these are genuine, but we are yet to hear any official word on the subject from Hasbro or any reliable sources. See the original thread here at TFW2005.com

As many of you have probably noticed, there's been a noticable lack of new Transformers showing up in your local retailers over the last few months. Sure, you picked up Downshift, Towline, and Arcee in unlikely places like Kohls, and the guy you talk to on AIM once in awhile says he found Hound at some Wal-Mart way out in the styx, but you've been searching in vain for Cliffjumper and Shockblast. Starting in the next few days, those figures that've been mysteriously absent from stores will begin to show up in the numbers you'd expect from stores such as Wal-Mart, Toys R Us, and Target. Get out there and find 'em. Remember, the new Energon Gestalts and Alternators will be out before you know it...
