It has been a while since we heard of these. The Tiny Turbo Changers turned out to be a fan favourite line last year and we knew there would be more coming. The third series was found in Canada a few months ago but there was no report of these appearing at US retail. Well now there is. Scottimus Prime found these at Amoc Time Toys in Long Island New York. It’s a comic shop that is not wide range, but it might be in places like these that fans will find them, since the US is now out of one of their main toy stores. You can find images of the series 3 figures
here.
They are $3.99 a piece.
Here is a guide to help you find the ones you are looking for. Each package has an embossed letter in the back to let you know this toy is in the package.
Series 3 E 80051 Bumblebee
Series 3 A 80051 Ratchet
Series 3 B 80051 Slug
Series 3 C 80051 Phantom Strike Lockdown
Series 3 J 80051 Sky Rage Starscream
Series 3 F 80051 Evac
Series 3 I 80051 Silver Knight Optimus Prime
Series 3 N 80051 Drift
Series 3 P 80051 Barricade
Series 3 D 80051 Sentinel Prime
Series 3 H 80051 Ironhide
Series 3 G 80051 Dino
Bumblebee is the same as previous releases, based off his Age of Extinction appearance. The red figures are all the exact shade of red. The blue figures are all different shades. Barricade is his Transformers (2007) version and is my personal favorite from this wave, though Ironhide is a really, really close 2nd. Speaking of which, Ironhide shares transformation with Grimlock. Drift is AOE blue versus previous red The Last Knight version. Silver Knight Optimus Prime is obviously recolor of previous version. Ratchet is an obnoxious yellowish neon green color, very different from digital product images. Phantom Strike Lockdown is the same, just translucent. Sky Rage Starscream is a red recolor of previous Starscream figures. Dino is a red recolor of Series 2 Hot Rod.
There is a series 4 coming soon and we will have pictures of that for you shortly.

It is that time of year again folks, the time of year when we get ready to vote for this year's nominees for the Transformers Hall of Fame! This announcement is to let everyone know that from now up until June 29 the Hall of Fame is open to nominees for Favorite Transformers Character and for the 2018 Toy of the Year. The nominee cannot be someone who has already been inducted, and you can see a list below along with the nominee information.
So get your nominees in and let us know who you think deserves to be in the Hall of Fame next!
Hi Transformers fans!
It’s that time again to make your voice heard in the Transformers Hall of Fame vote for 2018! Hasbro is asking fans to help nominate inductees into the Transformers Hall of Fame within two categories. The categories are:
· FAVORITE TRANSFORMERS CHARACTER (Fictional Robot Character)
· 2018 TRANSFORMERS HASBRO TOY OF THE YEAR
As you know, no characters who have already been inducted within the ‘Favorite Character’ category will be considered for nomination. A list of inducted characters can be found at the bottom of this email.
The new category ‘Transformers Toy of the Year’ was introduced in 2017 to provide fans an opportunity to share their passion for the figures that have been the heartbeat of the brand for over 30 years. This category will continue in 2018 and is meant to celebrate the new product within the calendar year and the ongoing efforts of the Hasbro Transformers team to fulfill the desires of our many fans around the world with innovative and exciting toys. All nominations for this category must be toys newly released by Hasbro in 2018 and can include figures that have not yet hit shelves in the calendar year, but have been announced.
We ask that you poll your readers to determine the characters they wish to be considered for each category of the Transformers Hall of Fame and share your Top 3 nominees for each category (six nominees total) including the number of votes with us no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, June 29th.
Please rank your outlet’s polling results list in order of who received the most votes for each category. All polling result lists will be combined together, each outlet getting an equal voice. The combined values will be used to generate the final ballot of three choices for each category. Details will follow regarding the official voting process in the coming weeks.
Winners of the final polling will be announced at SDCC during the official Transformers brand panel on Thursday, July 19th at 11am in Room 29AB.

With the year almost at its half way point, we thought of rounding up what was still to come which could be cause for excitement. And with this being an article by me, the Seibertron.com listicle writer, we will be looking at 5 subjects (with excitement rankings too) and where we can discuss all our anticipation.
5.
Bumblebee: The Movie, directed by Travis Knight
Now, I am not a fan of the live action films and it's not even because of the look of the bots or how it differs from previous fiction, or anything like that. I simply think they are bad films, for the most part. But Travis Knight being the director of Bumblebee: The Movie has me very much intrigued and excited even. He is a true visionary in the film production world, being in charge of Laika Studios. If Bumblebee is half as good as his previous film,
Kubo and the Two Strings, we are in for a real treat.
Let us know if you are excited on this film by joining the conversation here:

4.
The Transformers Studio Series Line
We know from Hasbro that this line is continuing, at least through to the end of 2018, and it will include characters from the Bumblebee film. Better yet, we also have listings for a voyager Bonecrusher. I can't wait to see how they knock that toy out of the park. While not all toys have been winners, some of my favourite toys from this year have come from this line (Starcream and Grimlock, secifically) and I look forward to any other toy in the works for this line.
Let us know your favourite so far and which characters you hope to get in this line here:
viewtopic.php?t=110126&p=1957770#p1957769
3.
Unicron coming to IDW
I don't know about you, but one of my favourite issues of IDW Publishing's
More than Meets the Eye was when Cyclonus retold the Primus and Unicron mythology. We have not heard much of Unicron since, and for a while it seemed like he was indeed simply a myth. But IDW is bringing him back in a BIG way. Not only are we finally going to get Unicron in what is probably the best G1 inspired Transformers fiction of all time (for some, of course), but he may truly destroy everything we know about this continuity. Definitely something to look out for. I already added this miniseries to my pull list at my local comic shop, have you?
Let us know your thoughts on Unicron coming, on him being more than just a story and your thoughts on the impending doom he brings to this cherished continuity by clicking here:

Transformers War for Cybertron Toy Reveals
With Wave 3 of Power of the Primes already being found in certain areas across the globe (including
Inferno in the US), we are at a point where we truly know close to nothing about what is coming next to store shelves for the Generations toyline. Sure, we know the name of the line, "War for Cybertron", but we do not know which characters will be included (aside from Impactor and Mirage), what any toy will look like or if there will even be a line wide gimmick. We are bound to get reveals at San Diego Comic Con 2018 in July, but as of right now we don't even know the next toys to be on shelves. It's pretty nuts.
Let us know of all your speculations and wishes from this new line here:

1.
2018 Takara Tomy Transformers Masterpiece Line
Yes, we are getting a Masterpiece figure of Beast Wars fan favourite Dinobot but we now know we are also getting a Masterpiece Megatron.
Those two are not only
the best characters from Beast Wars but these upcoming toys might just be the most innovative Masterpiece figures we have ever gotten. And they are all in scale with one another. While we can guess the overall transformation, I doubt any of us can wait to get these in hand and marvel at them. We are also getting some pretty cool other Masterpiece toys this year, like a Diaclone themed Sunstreaker, with a nice new head, and a new Masterpiece Optimus Prime with a fully new mold.
You can share your thoughts on the Masterpiece line in general here:

Or go talk about these individual toys in their own threads:

As part of a supposed mandate during the year of Trasformers: The Last Knight,
practically all Age of Extinction dinobots were to be redeco'd in darker more screen accurate colours. Many of you might still see the voyager Grimlock still on shelves, and the Strafe, Slug and Slash redecos were also available at retail. There was
also a Snarl redeco to go along with his fellow Dinobots but he was a Universal Studio exclusive (and not even labeled as part of The Last Knight).
So for many, that was a toy they simply would not be able to add to their collection. That will change later this month, with
BBTS now listing this same toy for only $19.99 USD. We have official images in the listing as well that you an see below. Which of you will be getting this toy?
Product Description
Bring home the explosive action of the Transformers universe with this Deluxe Snarl figure. This Dinobot figure converts from robot to stegosaurus in 15 steps. Figure comes with 1 blaster and 1 blade accessory that combine to form 1 bigger mace accessory.
The name Snarl says it all. Constantly scowling, the Autobots and Dinobots can never really tell if the ferocious warrior is on their side. Entrenched with a fiery hatred towards the Decepticons, the Dinobot only smiles when faced with another chance to take down the enemy.

Walmart Canada now has the entirety of the first wave of Transformers Studio Series available in their stores, including the leader class toys Grimlock and Blackout. The voyagers and deluxes are also present and those two classes can also be purchased on
their website. The prices are the new MSRP based on the price jump from the Pemier Edition Transformers: The Last Knight toys, where deluxes are $29.97, voyagers are $39.97 and leaders are $69.97.
These toys are trickling across North America right now, at various retail outlets (Target in the US now has the leaders for instance) and opinions have been mixed but generally more positive than negative. Many wonder if this line will continue and Hasbro already did confirm more toys coming, such as the toys for characters from the upcoming Bumblebee movie that have been pushed to a later release in an attempt to be on shelves closer to the film's release.

Updating our
stories about the latest wave of Transformers: The Last Knight Tiny Turbo Changers, which had yet to be seen anywhere at retail or in photography, we have a whole slew of in-hand images of the wee critters below!
We've also re-included the package codes for each figure if you're only after select characters, and Seibertron notes the following for those interested:
Series 3 E 80051 Bumblebee

Thanks to a pair of sources, both the
El Botcast Reloaded Facebook page and Seibertronian
maverickprime, we have news that several new figures have hit Mexico.
Up first is the news from maverickprime, who found the Wave 1 Power of the Primes deluxes and voyagers, as well as the wave 2 legends figures. These figures were found for a very high price though, as Maverick points out in his post, quoted below:
MaverickPrime wrote:PotP is finally at Mexican retail, they arrived at the Juguetrón chain, curiously, what arrived was Legends Wave TWO, mosrt likely wave 1 got skipped also, sadly, at insane prices, 29 for deluxes, 45 for voyagers and 14,75 for legends.
I pray that's just because that's an expensive chain and supermarket ones like Walmart or Chedraui will have them for less, I can't keep up collecting with those prices.
The 2nd piece of sightings news, thanks to El Botcast, is that the Wave 1 Studio Series Leaders have been sighted in Mexico as well. As both of these figures are highly anticipated, those in Mexico should be excited that these have been found, and hopefully those seeking Blackout and Grimlock can find him.
Check out the images below, and let us know what you think of these new sightings!

At the moment of writing, every figure from the first wave of Transformers Studio Series wave 1 is on Amazon at their suggested retail prices. That includes the sought after leaders Blackout and Grimlock.
With the common distribution woes, many fans have opted to go online so hopefully this helps. They are bound to sell quickly. For those looking for them at brick and mortar, friend to the site Scottimus Prime has found the DCPI numbers for target (which are good for the entire line) and they are: 087-065842 (leader), 087-065840 (voyager), 087-065835 (deluxe). This can be used on
brickseek to see if there are any in stock.
And now, here are the amazon listings:
Transformers Studio Series 08 Leader Class Movie 1 Decepticon Blackout 49.99
Transformers Studio Series 07 Leader Class Movie 4 Grimlock 49.99
Transformers Studio Series 06 Voyager Class Movie 1 Starscream 29.99
Transformers Studio Series 05 Voyager Class Movie 2 Optimus Prime 29.99
Transformers Studio Series 04 Deluxe Class Movie 1 Autobot Ratchet 19.99
Transformers Studio Series 02 Deluxe Class Movie 3 Decepticon Stinger 19.99
Transformers Studio Series 01 Deluxe Class Movie 1 Bumblebee 19.99
Transformers Studio Series 03 Deluxe Class Movie 3 Crowbar 19.99

Fellow Seibertronian Ironhidensh has recently bought Studio Series leader Blackout and has written a review for us accompanied by images. Hopefully this helps those unsure to spend $49.99 on this toy. Enjoy the review:
So Blackout is an amazing display figure, but not much playability, which is fine with me, but may bother some.
Lets take a look:
Here he is in robot mode glory.
This is by far where he shines brightest. The molding detail on this figure is simply gorgeous. While there is some kibble, mainly in the arms, its kept to a minimum. Hands aren't that great, but easy to look past. The legs really shine as well. He really looks like he just stepped off the screen. I do think he could use a few more paint apps.
Here is robot mode:
This mode does have a glaring issue: the bottom.
As you can see, there are some big, glaring empty places. Granted, the one in the tail will be filled by the little Sccrponok figure (who I left fastened in the packaging) but it is quite hollow. Thankfully, it is on the bottom, and not easy to see.
Now, some have questioned his size so lets take a look at some compassion pics with common figures. (editor's note, we thank Ironhidensh for all the comparisons we can get)
I feel the Helicopter mode is large enough, and the the bot mode works for me as well. I think maybe some have an issue because his head sits so low compared to the top of his rotor assembly.
So lets look at the line up. Of figures released so far, I'm only missing Grimlock, and I'm still on the fence on buying him.
By the way, have I mentioned how much I love the packaging on this line?
So, in the end, a little honesty. I wonder if part of the reason I love this figure so much is because we have never actually gotten that large or great of a Blackout figure. This guy has his flaws, but the positives greatly out weight them, in my humble opinion. SS Blackout is INCREDIBLY different from the 2007 figure. Some engineering is shared, but that's it. It's a vast improvement.

Good news to those looking for the Transformers Studio Series leaders. Both Blackout and Grimlock have been found at Meijer by fellow Seibertronian EvasionModeBumblebee.
Meijer is a regional US department store (similar to Walmart) and has been a place where several sought after Transformers toys have been found, such as last year's Titans Return Ramhorn. Sightings for these two Studio Series leaders have come from both the states of Michigan and Indiana, with this specific sighting coming from Benton Harbor, Michigan.
These two were both $49.99 USD, which is the MSRP for movie leader class toys now. Since this is quite a bit of money for many fans, we do have a lot of material for you to check out if you are not sure about the purchase.
You can see a video review for Blackout
here and one for Grimlock
here.
We also added an image of these two leaders compared to previous movie leaders for you to get a sense of the scale.
EvasionModeBumblebee wrote:Just checked out a nearby Meijers and they had the entire wave 1 (even the leaders) except Optimus. I only picked up Bumblebee, but the others were there!
The picture's kinda crappy, but you can see Grimlock down at the bottom, Blackout's behind him.
