Jim Sorenson has updated his blog Disciples of Boltax with more scripts from the Rod Friedman auctions. This time it's the one that started it all, the G1 pilot episode More Than Meets the Eye. The script and treatment are available for download at Disciples of Boltax!
For those that have some questions about last summer's Transformers novel EXODUS (companion to 'War for Cybertron') game, the book's author, Alex Irvine has been interviewed by fellow fan-site Unicron.com.
Irvine and his interviewer wax philosophical about many topics, some of local Michigan interest due to Irvine's early Michigan ties (new Michigan Wolverines football team head coach), but mostly related to ideas that are presented in the Transformers EXODUS book, and possible plots in store for the sequel to that book.
Irvine makes sure to share where his idea for Soundwave's minions as minicons, dark energon, and many other newly presented details from the book have their origins.
Check out the interview at Unicron.com and come back here to discuss Mr. Irvine's ideas, and answers.

Fan favorite Emmy award winning Stan Bush sent me this message this afternoon to share with all of you.
Stan Bush wrote:Hey Ryan,
Just wanted to touch base and send you this press release.
New Stan Bush Single "Heat of the Battle" and Music Video!
2011, the 25-year anniversary of “The Touch” and of the original Transformers movie,
Stan has teamed up once again with songwriter Lenny Macaluso to come up with this high-energy rocker “Heat of the Battle”!
With trademark Stan Bush vocals and searing guitars, this track is reminiscent of “The Touch”! Check out the cool new music video at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xAxGLYEQ4jE
Once again Jim Sorenson has updated his blog, Disciples of Boltax, with more Generation 1 goodness. This time around we get an Ark Addendum update and a script from the Ron Friedman auctions.
Enter the Nightbird, a classic episode of the classic series. Oh, how I wish I had the character models from this episode. Sadly, I've yet to come across them, but I do have many of the background models, featured here.
In a bit of an unfortunate parallel, the script that was in the binder of Ron Friedman material for this episode was also incomplete. There were quite a few scripts that were missing pages, as it turns out. We're only missing the last few pages, though. Some other scripts were missing vast swaths of pages.
Be sure to visit Jim's blog Disciples of Boltax to download the script and check out all his other cool Transformer historical information.
Our friend Jim Sorenson has updated his blog, Disciples of Boltax, with four more Transformers scripts from the Ron Friedman files; Autobot Berserk, Day of the Machines, The Insecticon Syndrome, and The Master Builders.
More scripts! I've gotten a few more of the Ron Friedman Transformers scripts scanned and OCRed, so I hope you enjoy. Some of these you can see the original dialogue before his revisions, like these examples from Day of the Machines.
Original Dialogue:
Skyfire: What're you doing, Spike?
Spike: You've got metal bodies, so you couldn't do a thing with this. But they shouldn't have locked a human in here...!
Spike (cont.): That's Megatron for you! Always thinking like a machine.
Revised Dialogue:
Skyfire: Careful with that thing, spike.
Spike: Hey, I don't have a metal body so it's no problem for me. Megatron should have thought of that...
Spike (cont.): ...because it's going to cost him!
Neat stuff, huh? here are the download links to Auto-Berserk, Day of the Machines, The Insecticon Syndrome, and The Master Builders.

Courtesy of the Los Angeles Times comes news of the passing of one of the original Transformers Generation 1 voice actors.
Aron Kincaid is most known to Transformers fans for providing the voice of Sky Lynx, but his credits certainly don't end there. Below is an excerpt of the article.
Aron Kincaid, an actor who appeared in 1960s "beach" movies such as "The Girls on the Beach" and "The Ghost in the Invisible Bikini" and later had careers as a model and an artist, has died. He was 70.
Kincaid, who lived in Beverly Hills, died of heart-related complications Thursday at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, said his longtime friend Rodney Kemerer.
The tall and handsome Kincaid was a UCLA student when he was spotted in a Los Angeles stage production by a casting agent and signed to a contract with Universal.
That led to a regular role in the final season of the sitcom "Bachelor Father" in 1962 — as Warren Dawson, the junior partner of John Forsythe's Hollywood attorney Bentley Gregg. Dawson becomes engaged to Gregg's niece, Kelly, played by Noreen Corcoran.
Kincaid later appeared with Corcoran in the 1965 comedy "The Girls on the Beach" and had roles in "Beach Ball" and "Ski Party," and made what was billed as a "guest appearance" in "Dr. Goldfoot and the Bikini Machine" — as well as appearing in "The Happiest Millionaire, "The Proud and the Damned" and other movies.
Kincaid, who also made guest appearances on series such as "The Beverly Hillbillies" and "Get Smart," moved to San Francisco in the early 1970s and launched a successful career as a model.
He also had a 20-year voice-over career in hundreds of commercials and did voice work on animated TV series such as "Smurfs," "Jonny Quest" and "The Transformers."
