In a series of Tweets,
@DerrickJWyatt posted an avant garde, brooding poem "written" by
BotCon Dead End:
@DerrickJWyatt wrote:
AND NOW: A poem, by Dead End.
Dead End wrote:
I collapse to the oil stained floor of the garage, cracked and crumbled from the attackās barrage
the throbbing tormenting boredom of this existence, spans unrelenting into infinite distance
painful longing to return to dust, we are all just food for rust.
The end.
Does this get you more excited for BotCon 2011? Will we see more characterization of the other four members of the
Stunticons?

The ABC Network recently announced they're putting together a new fall programming line up and under consideration is a reboot of the 1970's classic Charlie's Angels. Interestingly, the new show pairs two stars from the Transformers live action movies: Rachel Taylor and Ramon Rodriguez. Rachel Taylor, who played signal analyst hottie Maggie Madsen in the original Transformers film, is set to play Abby, a "sassy con artist and Krav Maga expert with a shady past". Ramon Rodriguez, who of course played the wacky, alien conspiracy web master Leo Spitz in TF2: Revenge of the Fallen, a character returning in TF3: Dark of the Moon, will take over the Bosley roll in the new Angel's series. The pilot begins production next month and if the network likes what it see, expect to see the series in the 2011 fall lineup.

After recently seeming to interview just about everyone involved with the Transformers movie or new PRIME TV series, MTV makes sure to get a few questions to legendary voice actor, and freedom for sentient species advocator, Peter Cullen who happens to be involved in both projects.
See what MTV asked, and Peter Cullen answered
here. But be warned there is a bit of a spoiler for a piece of DOTM's plot.
Topics include his inspirations for Optimus' voice, his favorite voices to do, current questions involving TF PRIME and his fellow actors, projects Mr. Cullen would like to do with NASA, and of course, his tiny piece of spoilerific plot and character description.

Andrew Wildman has posted information on his blog,
Wildwords, about his work on the final troubled issues of Marvel's Transformers comic series. His update has been mirrored below.
The Last Transformer?
Well almost. Following on from my previous post I have been having a look around to see what remains of any Transformers and GI Joe artwork. Not a lot to be honest. there seems to be only one GI Joe cover left and only three Transformers covers.
First up for consideration is Transformers #79. We were almost at the end of the series here and probably knew it. The decision to cancel the Marvel Transformers book came as a shock to Simon and myself and was not on the cards. It was selling well by todays standards but back then it was falling under the editorial radar. Marvel didnt really take the book seriously even though sales were steady. We had to cram a lot into the last two issues and this was the penultimate one. Interestingly it features Spike Witwicky on the cover. That family name that went on to recent movie stardom.
The artwork on the cover is also very much of its time. The maniacal grin on Galvatron's face was very much influenced by The Joker. This was also before the days of Photoshop so we had to get a bit clever with methods of colouring. I wanted the Galvatron head to be in blue rather than in black line filled with blue. The only way to achieve this back in 1990 was to do that piece of art on a separate overlay. I think it was 1990 or maybe '91 but for some reason its says Dec 4 1986 in the margin. No idea why.
So there you have it. I will probably be putting it up on eBay but by all means make me an offer if this is one of those covers that is special to you. It was for me, but now its time to move it on.
