Both sites are offering a 10% deposit option and they're saying they expect Starscream to ship in September, but that can not be taken as a dead cert in this current climate.
Here are the links:
£144.97 - Kapow Toys (AllNewSuperRobot has pointed out that this price is expected to be altered, as is typical, to reflect ID Toys pricing at some point)
£139.99 - ID Toys

"Exclusive" or not, all MPM found their way to Amazon or Mandarake sooner or later. And like all MPM figures, they inevitably come on sale at some point.
I know my Toys R Us won't deliver because of their Quebec prejudice. So I'll bid my time.
Truth. I will never again buy a MPM at release time. Every. Single. One. has been found on Amazon later down the road at half off or better.

Only 345$CAN, guys!
Plus taxes.
I'll bid my time.

In a way, yes. I bid that this MPM will get a wide release like all others and will be easy to get on sale.
Heck, MPM Ironhide is available from both Toys R Us and Amazon for 63$CAN right now. So the same thing will happen to screamer.

Always, you should see how much they are charging for Walmart's Netflix burnt toast magnus.

But Screamer is the first to be exclusive no? That would change your strategy a bit. Just ask how those americans are doing who bided their time with RedWing.

I wonder who will distribute Screamers officially in Canada. Because as much that I like the guy, no freaking way am I dropping nearly 400 freaking Canadian dollars on a MPM figure.

Pretty sure it would be toysrus, though that could mean "No Ship to Quebec for You!"

Of course.
So far, all the MPM have been TrU "exclusives" and all of them found themselves at Amazon.ca. There's also Mandarake, where I bought my MPM Jazz. So if TrU don't want my money, my money will go elsewhere. ¯\_(⏓ヘ⏓)_/¯

Starscream will be a Target exclusive in the US and will retail for around $150. Takara's release will be a regular retail item that will price out around 20,000 yen (roughly $185 USD). We can expect the newest member of the MPM family to see release this fall.

Proof that the old Leader is a Masterpiece on it's own.
I preordered him on Amazon.JP

Item Subtotal:
¥ 13,965
Shipping & Handling:
¥ 1,505
Import Fees Deposit:
¥ 2,128
Order Total:
¥ 17,598
Even with the taxes and shipping, it's around 122$CAN cheaper at Amazon.jp than the alternative, Age 3 And Up: https://www.agesthreeandup.ca/collectio ... starscream
And that's NOT counting the taxes and shipping from them!
Anyway, I can see the engineering is much more advanced and is much more screen accurate on the MPM.
Still, I will never, ever sell my good old HFTD Leader Starscream. I really want the old leader and the new MPM to be side-by side on my shelf.

With all the 3Ps' making different versions of Bumblebee Movie Optimus Prime, is there any word on an official Hasbro/Takara version of Bumblebee Movie MASTERPIECE Optimus Prime? I'd like a larger version, with perhaps some chrome detailing & larger in size.
If & when HasTak makes one, I'd hate importing it from Asia & having to wait weeks/months for packages. I'd rather order from BBTS, TFSource, Entertainment Earth, or Amazon(Direct), than from overseas.

If you order it from Amazon.JP, it seem you'll receive it as quickly if not faster than if you bought it from BBTS and such. There will also be a heavy price difference.
Amazon.JP use DHL and they seem to have struck an insane deal.

These new images also show all the weapons he'll be bringing with him so you can recreate different scenes with him once he's in your hands.
MPM-10 Starscream is currently scheduled to come out some time in September according to his listing, costing £139.99 (roughly $175.68 US). In Demand Toys have been quicker then other retailers in getting figures into customers hands, as its been the case with Transformers Earthrise Sky Lynx and Scorponok, and Studio Series Overload.

While this toy still has a couple of months before becoming available at retail (he is exclusive to Target in the US), PrimeVsPrime has gotten hold of a copy early and explores it's features and articulation.

Not only does this mean that you can now purchase Starscream online, but as fellow Seibertron user, toycave_studios, found, he's also appearing in Target stores across the United States! toycave_studios got his MPM-10 at the Valley Parkway Target in Escondido, CA.

The 2nd thing though is the shoulders. They are using a pretty weak ratchet, and he has diecast forearms, so his arms are almost unable to hold themselves up empty, let alone with the accessories sadly.
Posted by transformers_va on August 29th, 2020 @ 1:29am CDT
Are you referring to the robot mode? If so, I don't think you've got them up enough, as they sort of soft-lock in behind his head.D-Maximal_Primal wrote:...the wings are a little "floaty"
His forearms are plastic. I think you meant upper arms.D-Maximal_Primal wrote:...he has diecast forearms
On a separate note, I have to say that this is by FAR the best MPM they've released so far! I'm not a huge fan of Bayverse designs, but I have to admit that this guy is really quite impressive.

ZeroWolf wrote:Ah but what was the price difference between what they paid and your amazon.jp order?
Well, for starter, I'm ALLOWED to buy it from Amazon.JP. Can't buy anything from Target.com.
But if I could have bought it from Target, here's what it would have cost me:
150$US plus 30$US of shipping(estimate), plus sureshot custom fees that would be the federal and provincial taxes PLUS 10$CAN on top for "handling fees".
Total: 281$CAN. (214.56$US)
My Amazon.JP order:
The toy plus shipping and custom deposit: grand total of ¥17598, meaning 218.75$CAN or 167.30$US.
So basically, I think I'm paying the same amount than an American buying his locally live in store. And that's importing it from Japan.
It could have been worse... MUCH WORSE if it weren't for Amazon.JP.

And I do have the wings soft locked in like that, but it still feels a little floaty, there are a lot of wings in there, and his sides of chest/shoulders, which is for posing, but is a little too easy to move for my liking.
So last night messing with him, I can say that it's only the left shoulder that is really bad. It can barely hold his arm up at all, and not at all with an accessory. The right arm can hold an accessory up, but it's super close to not making it, and probably won't keep its strength long.
I also discovered something else that really annoys me: how the hell do we have a masterpiece with NO BICEP ROTATION. He doesn't have a waist either, but the biceps, how can you not have any arm rotation like that?
I'm really bummed, I was super excited for Screamer, but there are some things that are letting me down. He's definitely my least favorite con MPM, Megatron clearly and rightfully owns that title, and Barricade is still quite solid. I'd rank Screamer down towards the bottom above Ironhide and Prime, due to those being a nightmare to transform and Ironhide requiring an upgrade kit to hold is upper body together, but below everyone else. Jazz and Megatron continue to have a solid hold on the MPM bests.
