These all look fantastic. I have no real interest in Nightbird, but I'll probably get Slipstream and Blackarachnia.

Love how the inside of Nightshadow's car kiddle is painted black in contrast to her paler body. Making it kinda "invisible".

Slipstream is a beauty!

And blackie... man, what a rack!

I was thinking the same thing.
I pulled the trigger on Slippy last week. Knightbird last night as soon as I saw the prototype shots (ya, I was up late).
I'm not gonna go for Blackarach just cause, but MAN, she does look AWESOME!

I preordered all three of these femme fatales as soon as they were offered on TFSource, and each new picture of them just strengthens my resolve that all three are a wise investment and MUST HAVES for diehard collectors. I think this is the most excited I've been about Transformers collecting in ages. The hits just keep on coming from both Hasbro and Takara.

So how does Amiami work with yen and all? do you just give them your credit card number and presto?

Beyond that, though, with combiner wars on the horizon for another year, and no job, my budget is extremely limited.

Thanks for the link though

You pay when item is available. You can use PayPal, you must register for membership (free) if you want to use your CC. No charges until item available.

Above Y 8000, automatic registered sal.

Paypal automatically converts the cost. Assuming you have linked your CC to PayPal. CC, same method of conversion, just punch it the amount in Yen and the system converts it.

I think Windblade has gotten a poor reputation from us and reviewer's blowing this problem out of proportion. Now maybe I just have a steadier hand when posing her, but I've never had a problem with her collapsing. Windblade has never collapsed on me, unless I bump the table she's displayed on.

I find when posing her, just start with her foot stance and get her thighs in a solid position and work from there, it takes a bit more time than, say, posing MP10, but its still quite do-able.

They have a rough estimate scale in the front of their website. A bit to the buttom. And depends on the weight of the item of course.

Hope "Marvin" won't get flustered with this exchange we are having.

Meaning, we just can't please everyone. And, colorwise, TT's version floors the competion. Having the advantage of being released later I suppose.

don't get me wrong, I have TT's windblade and I love her, she's just so finicky to pose and it frustrates the crap out of me. Especially when I try to transfer her from one place to another and keep her in a pose.

Don't know How I feel about these three. I don;t have that Arcee mold so maybe Nightbird might stand on my shelf. The problem...I'm still not a fan of the mold or even the weapons. As for SLipstream, I would still rather her get her own mold (preferably voyager sized like the other seekers who SHOULD have voyager sized figures as well.) Blackarachnia is the one that I'm leaning towards the most to getting, but the lack of pincers that the original animated figure had makes her abdominal region seem off-ly thin.

No I didn't. The reviewer who did one for the Hasbro version was quite heavy on her. Given the body type of SS, either way there'd be som compromises in the design.

Also, wished her leg joints were ratched so as to give a more stabilized pose but then again......size constraints and design...pbeing a female archetype, those curves are a headache to design and still make it into a jet.(Also wished her rear wheels were retratable)

@Slashercon

BBTS still has the arcee/chromia pack in stock, so if you don't have chromia, and need arcee, its a great option.

As for Slipstream, with nothing to base her on (canon-wise) other than war for cybertron, it seems like an easy thing to make a Slipstream figure; on the other hand this mold really fits for her, she's a seeker, but not a repaint of a seeker mold, so it's kinda refreshing; I love the Windblade mold and would love to get this figure.

There's also a version of her in TFA. But no figure was made except for the Prime FE Starscream convention limited figure iirc.

I know, she seems to have been created accidentally, or something, and now exists to get another repaint of the seekers (cuz there haven't been enough of those) but I think this might be a nice start to an actual Slipstream character, that, and being a primary character in a show/ comic.

Heck, I'd be down for her being a stand-in leader whilst the Decepticons wait for Megatron to return (ala Prime).

These all look great.
But I just got that expensive exclusive FE Slipstream :s
Anyway, can never have to many Slipstreams right?

Hope they make a solid Voyager Seeker mold in the future & repaint/remold the hell out of it.

I love the Armada Seeker mold, why don't they update that? Better hip articulation, stronger upper arms, lose or simplify the gimmick. Make a non-remold Skywarp.

I miss the solid hard plastic of the Unicron Trilogy.
Today's plastic is so thin & feels like butterpackage plastic -_-

Combiner Wars is going in the right direction, still Megatron compared to, say Defense/Vanguard Red Alert is a big difference.

Hasbro, Y U NO use the good plastic???

Fall of Cybertron Grimlock has TERRIBLE plastic

Maybe because the Armada seeker is way too masculine in overall design.

As for the FOC figures and some Prime ones, yeah, thin hollow plastics were thin and hollow.

Nightbird is pretty slick looking, but, as the character never showed up again and didn't have a character, not of much interest to me.

Blackrarachnia, beautiful paintjob and fantastic head, but, and I find this ironic, by giving her boobs, they made her waist freakishly small. Enh, I really wanted this one, but judging by the figure here, skip.

Slipstream, solid buy, I got to have her. Kind of wish they'd given her seeker style wings, but alas, I can put up with VOTL ones.

Tokyo Toy Show 2015 is under way and Blogger/Tweeter Alfes2010 is there snapping shots of TakaraTomy Transformers Legends: LG-EX Black Convoy & Aramada Megatron! As you all know by now, these figures are TakaraTomy's takes on TFCC Scourge and Combiner Wars Leader Armada Megatron with some different deco choices. Alfes just managed to have the American counterparts on hand and included them for some terrific comparisons. I went to the Tokyo You show on Saturday at 2pm with a Japanese friend. All the Megatrons and Scourges were sold out. My Japanese friend was shocked, as she wanted to buy Megatron for her son. She didn't understand why they sold out, considering she could easily get the special toys at the previous Transformers exhibition a while back. I simply explained that "This show is free entry, do every scalper from Japan, America and Hong Kong has come here, with their cronies, and bought them all up to sell at extortionate process. They online. They don't care about the fact that toys at a kids you show are for kids, and not does Takara at this point, either."

She went to toys r us and got him the G1 version instead.

Anyway, Takara were bang out of order for not making enough this year and/or not restricting some of the toys for kids only. It's not a collectors' show like winner festival. It's a kids' event.
