Just going to post this here but a lot of the "lore" section is blantly not possible therefore not canon.

Sentinel did not die on Cybertron cause you know Dotm.

App doesn't mention much from Rotf and ignores everything from Dotm that and most of the stuff seems to be copy and paste from the aligned continuity which is the least aligned continuity in our franchise.

"When all seems lost, a few brave souls can save everything we’ve ever known."

Synopsis: "The Last Knight shatters the core myths of the Transformers franchise, and redefines what it means to be a hero. Humans and Transformers are at war, Optimus Prime is gone. The key to saving our future lies buried in the secrets of the past, in the hidden history of Transformers on Earth. Saving our world falls upon the shoulders of an unlikely alliance: Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg); Bumblebee; an English Lord (Sir Anthony Hopkins); and an Oxford Professor (Laura Haddock).

There comes a moment in everyone’s life when we are called upon to make a difference. In Transformers: The Last Knight, the hunted will become heroes. Heroes will become villains. Only one world will survive: theirs, or ours."

Gotta admit - and I know everyone said this during the trailers for AOE - this does look a bit better and less stale than the other movies and does seem to have some better action. I'll look forward to it a bit more when it eventually comes on Netflix.

might be, might not.

the lads prime kills at the end look an awfull lot like the "disciples of unicron" from the aul g1 comics.

so could be a unicron possessed cyberton. they mightve reversed their positions from the "TF Prime" continuity. which'd mean primus is in earths core.

now THAT would explain "why they keep coming here" , hell why the allspark crashed here from the first movie even.

:D

Please don't die, Bumblebee. . .

Also, I'm thinking that the reason Lennox talks to Megatron in that one shot is to get him to take out Optimus for them since no one else can.

The next movie is literally called 'The Bumblebee Movie', so even if he wasn't the huge big advertising monster of a main character he's become... there's no possibility he'll die. Not permanently, at least.

I'm not entirely sure. Megatron keeps appearing with that red bit on his helmet as well, the same way Optimus does. I can't tell if that is supposed to signify something like the spot indicates that person is supposed to be under creator control or what. those 2 are the only ones who have it.

Though I wouldn't doubt enlisting Megatron to stop the apocalypse, though I can't see why Megatron himself wouldn't want Cybertron to live and kill Earth

I keep thinking that Megatron will be the last knight and that this movie will be a redemption story for him to bring him more in lines like IDW Megatron. He has to become "good" to stop Optimus Prime. Doesn't want to be the last knight, but he has to become the last knight. This theory also fits the "worlds collide" theme (evil becomes good, good becomes evil) and the "last knight" theme.

Time will tell.

I've heard that the stand alone Bumblebee movie will be more of an origin story, a prequel.

When I saw that red on Optimus' Face for a moment I thought he was in Silver Knight form.

Oh this Movie is going to be so hard for people to follow the colour saturation make some scenes incomprehensible as other than dark object moving.

-------

Some Questions :

1) Where is The Fallen's ship ?

2) Was it The Nemesis and if it was the Nemesis where is the Ancient Prime's ancient vehicle - or did they get here some other way like by space bridge ?

3) If The Fallen's ship was his ship (and was ancient) then how did the other Decepticons get to Earth - and further more isn't implied the Autobots had a larger ship on Mars ?

I can't believe they flew all the way from Cybertron in protoform mode. We seem to be missing some Space ships

4) How come there were a bunch of Decepticons on the Moon - can someone explain that to me a bit - did they go to sleep at someone's orders - or did they crash ?

Hm. Well, if Megatron comes under control as well, then my theory is probably wrong. Maybe Bumblebee is The Last Knight, but that seems so obvious, but that would parallel Cade being a Last Knight. Bumblebee could be his Cybertronian Knight, similar to how King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table had their Cybertronian Knights.

Pretty sure that's still a working title. It's possible the whole reason he's getting his own movie IS because he dies in this one and they need something to give kids their Bee fix. It is a prequel after all.

D-Maximus_Prime wrote:Though I wouldn't doubt enlisting Megatron to stop the apocalypse, though I can't see why Megatron himself wouldn't want Cybertron to live and kill Earth

Because if there's one thing Megatron hates it's being used. Destroying Earth and reviving Cybertron is his thing, he isn't going to sit back and let someone else do it while he watches, especially not someone who claims to be his maker. Quintessa is definitely someone that Megatron would rebel against.

I think it was confirmed, I was worried that they would pull a Han Solo and kill off Bee, then give him a prequel movie, but his upcoming deluxe figure is too good for him to die :-D

I'd rather have a Bumblebee Road trip action comedy - but if they want to make a bio pic that would be interesting (if flippin' expensive).

There is a LOT or CGI in the 5th Movie they are getting really close to the point now that they barely need the Humans so If bee was the only Transformer and he's in all of a Movie that might be feasible - but a flash back biopic would be expensive and complex.

I don't think they should green light a boring Bumblebee Movie though. or one that has no bearing on anything else.

Oh and am I crazy but when Optimus is fighting the Dragon is the last part showing it Transformed ?

Also is it officially a Predacon ?

im getting a "megs as a good guy" vibe too.

certainly they need to do SOMETHING to shake his character up as his villain schtict is getting repetitive. i mean whats his fecking motivation anyway now ?

he'd all be for saving cybertron over earth, but not at the cost of his freedom so a reluctant "anti hero" is a route to go.

cade would seem to be "the last knight" but i cant help thinking it'd be class if he ends up being the equivelent of spike in fortress maximus. particularly as cogman seem to be going the headmaster way. it'd look fecking glorious on the big screen - but as theres no toy i reckon thats not gonna happen.

This is starting to look like the Bayverse version of "The Big Broadcast of 2006". Alternately, that story had a baby with "All Hail Optimus" and this is their child.

RAR wrote:Some Questions :

1) Where is The Fallen's ship ?
On a moon of Saturn (or at least a ringed gas giant that eerily looked like Saturn).

RAR wrote:2) Was it The Nemesis
Yes. One of two ships named "Nemesis" in the Movieverse. The other one is parked on Mars and is the ship that brought Starscream and the other Movie 1 Deceopticons to Earth's solar system before the first movie.

RAR wrote:and if it was the Nemesis where is the Ancient Prime's ancient vehicle - or did they get here some other way like by space bridge ?
The Seven Primes were not affiliated with the Nemesis, for that ship was not constructed until long after the Seven Primes were deceased. Though the ship contained The Fallen's sarcophagus, it was captained by Soundwave.

RAR wrote:3) If The Fallen's ship was his ship (and was ancient)
It was not that ancient. It was launched shortly before the war between Megatron's Decepticons and Optimus's Autobots began, with Megatron himself overseeing the launch of the Nemesis.

RAR wrote:then how did the other Decepticons get to Earth
Megatron flew to Earth on his own chasing after the AllSpark, while the rest of the Movie 1 Decepticons got to Earth in the other Nemesis that they parked on Mars.

RAR wrote:and further more isn't implied the Autobots had a larger ship on Mars ?

I can't believe they flew all the way from Cybertron in protoform mode. We seem to be missing some Space ships
Optimus's team of Movie 1 Autobots got to Earth via their own ship, the Ark, which is not to be confused with Sentinel Prime's own ship, also called the Ark.

Yes, there are two Arks and two Nemesises in the Movieverse.

RAR wrote:4) How come there were a bunch of Decepticons on the Moon - can someone explain that to me a bit - did they go to sleep at someone's orders - or did they crash ?
The Decepticons who hid on the Moon with the Ark were actually from The Fallen's/Soundwave's Nemesis. After the Decepticon crew of that Nemesis abandoned their ship, they followed Sentinel's Ark to its crash site on the Moon where, under Soundwave's command, they harvested the space bridge pillars and lay hidden on the Moon until they were needed.

Sabr you do know that the comics are not canon right?

The filmmakers chose to ignore them and Bay himself has said if you didn't see it on screen then it did not happen.

Especially for when the Bee movie and the Cybertron movie comes out which are both prequels it's probably going to make things even more not canon.

There are two scenes where Primes eyes are blue. At 1:59 when he jumps through the Osprey and here in this screencap when he is dropped off by the flying transformer.

CGI just may not be done, but find it odd that they would start with blue if it was not supposed to be.
