Here is a quick review for what will probably be the biggest toy of Shatter, the main villain from the upcoming Bumblebee movie.

This is the Transformers Titan Changer Shatter, which is a very big simple toy with a 7 step conversion and limited articulation. It has not been reviewed yet (to my knowledge) so I wanted to show what was going on with this toy if anyone is curious when they walk by it in stores.

Honestly, for what it is I cannot see it be better. It is a fully converting toy with two very distinctive a good looking modes, bigger than a leader class toy, at a deluxe price point. That means the same resources (i.e. material) that goes into a deluxe is stretched out to give you a massive toy for younger kids to enjoy.

The box gives us what is either an early design fo Shatter, that has since been dropped, or a look at Shatter with a battle mask we have yet to see any footage of.

There is assembly required, and this is where the toy falters. The wings come seperate from the figure so you have to attach them, and they can detach during transformation.

They do provide a very impressive wing-span though. The jet mode is pretty great. It is MASSIVE! You can see it below compared to Transformers The Last Knight Voyager Megatron. It is also a very decent looking jet. While it has the same transformation as recent Windblade toys, I feel the legs are far better disguised here. The movie aesthetic gives the legs a lot of detail which blends well with the altmode. I also like how the wings have the perfect outline for the feet to fill.

Of course, this is a very simple transformer, so there is definitely (half) a robot hiding underneath there.

Transformers News: Pictorial Review for Transformers Bumblebee Movie Titan Changer Shatter

The best part of the robot mode is how uniform and unique it looks, especially when compared to the jet. Many Titan Changer toys suffer from having overly lanky robots and while Shatter looks rather slim, she actually looks more proportional than any other toy in the line so far. And the alt mode isn't obvious, especially since her chest hints at a car alt mode. Also, as you will see below, this toy is huge. Articulation is of course very poor, as is the case with all these toys.

So there you have it. I bought it so you don't have to. But hey, if you want a big simple toy for your kids to have fight against Bumblebee then this is the best Titan Changer toy we have ever had. Easily the most complex and most detailed, by a country mile.

Fellow Seibertronian Chuckdawg has a nice review for us. He looks at the Transformers Bumblebee Power series. The line is a bit confusing with the new class names epsecially since the class name does not just relate to diffrence in size but also with what the toy comes with. The best example is the Power and Power Plus class. The Power class are sized at the same size as one-step toys of years past. Power Plus class toys are the same size class but they come with the igniter, which is the motor gimmick.

And to enjoy the Power class toys to their fullest, you need to get the igniter which is only sold in the NItro class and Power Plus class. Confused?
Don't worry, Chuck explains this very well in the review for the entire Power class, which includes Megatron, Hot Rod, Bumblebee (Camaro) and Dropkick. Check it out for yourself!

Just realized that there's a port on the back of the igniter motor that spins as the wheel turns, perfect for turning helicopter blades. Something tells me we'll see Dropkick again in the igniters line.

We have seen the Titan Changer version of this toy already in a pictorial review, fellow Seibertronian TFA1024 has also shared a video review of another version of the new Decepticon from Transformers Bumblebee Movie: Energon Igniter Power Plus Shatter - who appears in her robot and her muscle car mode (rather than the jet she can also turn into, as a triple changer).

The figure has so far only really been spotted in Singapore, but if you come across it at retail, make sure to use our Sightings Database to help out fellow fans! In the meantime, check out the clip below.

A figure of a new movieverse character? How will Shatter hold up against The Transformers Addict? Check out the review and see for yourself!

Once again Seibertron, Thank you so much for sharing another one of my Reviews. I will state this to anyone who reads this. I did not buy this in U.S Retail. i actually bought this from Ashiaka the very person from singapore who found it and reported the finding on TFW2005. Without his kind act the review would not be possible. Also despite Shatter being a very simplified toy she is pretty fun and looks good in both forms. Hope she gets a studio series figure but if not oh well. There will be more Bumblebee Toy Reviews on the way. Chuckdawg and PrimeVsPrime already beat me though. Well..Except for one item that no one has reviewd. Stay Tuned on my channel to see.

Just a note, Amazon has been funny with their toy pricing lately so be careful not to over pay. At one point Power Megatron was going for $18.00. The only figures priced reasonably are the Nitro figures and Energize Bumblebee. Amazon will NOT price match after the fact, they are very firm about that.

Price matching on Amazon is the easiest of all. Just buy the item again at the cheaper price, return the higher priced item, and you're good to go! No need to have phone calls or anything. Problem solved.

Maybe amazon.com for domestic orders, but that practice is not the same for Amazon in general.Amazon.ca will ask you to pay the return shipping if there is nothing defective regarding your item. And not sure if international orders placed on.com are extended free returns as well. So returning a higher priced item is not a winning strategy in every case.

There's a way around it. You might have to mark that something is wrong with the item or something. Amazon wants to compete with Target, Walmart and other big box retailers. Only way they can do that is with free returns. In addition (at least in the US), we also have the option to return the item free-of-charge to our local Kohl's.

There's also the hassle of getting to a post office in the alloted time and they won't refund your money until they get the original item.

For the former, yes, as is noted by the disclaimer at the bottom of the site to comply with the FTC endorsement guidelines for such practices. Sites like this are costly to run and maintain so this helps keep it going!

For the latter, opinion articles are the sole, well, opinion of their authors. Staff do not censor their opinions in an effort to appease Hasbro, and the site's affiliate listings and sponsored content should be used responsibly. Just as affiliate listings are not an endorsement of quality, negative articles should not be taken as objective condemnation of the subject products.

Hope that helps clear it up, we appreciate your support!

ScottyP wrote:What were we talking about here again? Oh yeah Bee movie toys. Mine are showing up tomorrow from HTS, should bee a fun afternoon, I'm abuzz about it.

I have a fun story about those toys.

My one year old loves cars. I am impressed at how innate the play idea is that he can grab a car and have it roll on the floor, truly playing and not just doing random movements.

He also likes cars that can go by themselves. So this line will be perfect for him, and they will be his Christmas present (a power plus BB and a power series Megs or something like that). I was telling my 3 year old daughter this yesterday to let her in on my christmas plans for the baby and she asked if it would be ok to play with them. I told her for sure. She has one step toys of her own already, the rescue bot bee is her favourite, she likes how bot modes look good, especially the alt mode. She was making fun of my SS 18 bee that i picked up yesterday and how his unpegged alt mode looked terrible. She finds the simpler toys vastly superior for at least looking good in alt mode.

Listening to her, I can see exactly how smart Hasbro was with this whole Bee line. Honsetly, I am more excited about sharing these simpler toys with them than handling that SS Bee again.

Its exactly as Scotty said. Seibertron is a community and the articles are not written by the same person. So you will see different opinions from one article to the next. Some people like the movies and the movie toys, some just like the toys or just the film and some dont like either.

I personally like the movie toys but not the films

Yeah I feel like these are appropriately made for their target market, at least from a play pattern perspective. The VW Bee Studio deluxe is too fiddly for kids, but the multitude of other options seem to give parents plenty of choice here. I don't have kids though so my opinion on that stuff is only based on conjecture!

Opinion of the author tragically. Not all share my love of the movies and their toys unfortunately, but understandably.

There are also ports on the back of the figures to store the Core unit. Figures using the Dropkick mold have the torso hollowed out for it to fit in better. It makes me wonder if there were additional features that had to be cut.

I still don't know why Hasbro decided to release Buzzsaw again in this "cassette multipack." They could have released anything else for that mold, honestly. Garboil would have fit the "blue" theme of Frenzy and Howlback, at least. Plus, Howlback and Garboil were packed together originally. If that's too much blue, there's always Sundor too. Yes, he's labeled as an Autobot, but he's also (sometimes?) a Decepticon double agent.

One of our Italian fans on Seibertron.com, JazzLuca, has sent us notification of a new sighting for the Transformers Bumblebee Movie toylines - mostly the Energon Igniters series and the other younger audience products - appearing in Italy, at supermarket chains Auchan and Carrefour (French stores known for their bulk and budget purchases).

You can see the images below, showing the likes of Barricade, Optimus Prime, the various Bumblebees, Hot Rod (and some additional early Studio Series and Cyberverse figures too). The prices seem to range around the 15 to 30 euro per figure (approx 17 USD and 35 USD at the time of writing, respectively). If you come across these or any other new sightings, make sure to let us know, and to use the Sightings Database located right [urlhttps://www.seibertron.com/sightings/index.php]here[/url]!

If they ever start blindpacking Micromasters, I'll be financially ruined.

Yes, he's labeled as an Autobot, but he's also (sometimes?) a Decepticon double agent.

I'm thinking of using this one as Buzzsaw since he kinda matches Laserbeak layout wise and repurposing the original one as Sundor since he's so bright.

I understand why they didn't, but what a missed opportunity to do Soundblaster. A black 80s (or early 90s) radio styled retool? Throw in some fake wood paneling for no reason and that goes from rote recolor to extra awesome.

I think it's not just because of all the blue in the box, but also because Buzzsaw has two fairly distinct color schemes (if you ignore RIBFIR) between yellow and gold so I guess it was their best shot.

Sundor/Sunder would have stuck out like a sore thumb in that (neon) orange, really. Gold is closer to Bumblebee's yellow so in the end you'd end up with a fairly dual-color set.

My tiny Speed Series Optimus Prime came in the mail today from HTS in a box big enough to fit a Voyager with lots of room to spare. It isn't very good. I wasn't expecting knees, but I was expecting ball jointed shoulders since there's more than enough room for them and they've been a staple in figures this size for many years now, even Titan/Prime Masters have them. But no, his shoulders are just a simple swivel. He does have ball jointed elbows, but they don't offer much range. He also has ball jointed hips, but without knees they aren't really useful for articulation, just for the transformation. Bafflingly he does have an ab joint that doesn't serve any real purpose. It's used to give him a slight bend for his transformation to give clearance for his hips, but that could have been easily fixed by shaving down some of his sculpted details. The cost of the extra plastic and metal pin could have gone to knee joints or more paint. Interestingly all of his wheels are held on with big metal rivets rather than pegged on like has been popular lately. And he has six wheels even though it's pretty common for a figure this small to have a pair of fake wheels and I honestly wouldn't have minded. The whole figure just screams of miss-managed resources.

I had the exact same experience - bought all 4 Speed Series guys and Optimus was the worst of the group (I'd call Barricase the best, personally). If they'd just given him ball shoulders and swivel elbows instead of the other way around he'd be significantly better.

Just put in an Amazon order for MP VW Bee too. I already have an order with HLJ but I usually get backup preorders for things I really want from somewhere easy to cancel (Amazon, BBTS) in case something goes wrong with another order. Especially AmiAmi stuff, I just got in an order for Figuarts Super Buu the other day and accidentally ordered 3 because the pages were loading slowly and for some reason the "change quantity" button had disappeared. It's terrifying asking them to cancel anything because they're so prone to closing accounts for it.

Yeah this is my experience with it. Just returned something last week and the day after the return scan was made I had a refund.
I returned something last Friday (not TF related) and was credited the refund 2 hours after handing the package over to USPS.

That sounds about right. I don't meant to sound like I return a lot to them, but I do return things regularly. I also make an absurd amount of purchases from Amazon with Transformers and household items and things for my 2 kids, so it's just part the nature of the beast. They have always taken great care of me and I am happy to support Amazon! If you've had trouble with them, would love to help you figure out some of the issues you've had to make your experience with them more positive. I'm also wondering if those of you who have had trouble whether or not you are Amazon Prime members or not?

Here in The Netherlands we're also having Bumblebee toys for about a few weeks.

Question: Will the Bumblebee movie get a decent Generations toyline? Of about 8 figures?
Or are they only going to be in the Studio series?

I would love some Power of the Primes like Bumblebee toys, not too complex and all.
