Shown in the image below in the robot mode, with the helicopter mode as default (rather than the other alt mode of a blue muscle car), at least in its initial prototype mode, featuring some grey and clear plastic on the base mold, and a sorta look at the headsculpt. Check it out!
Decepticon DROPKICK is as bad as they come. Here's an exclusive reveal of a stage 1 production prototype of this Decepticon menace! This is Studio Series Deluxe Class Dropkick – Transformers: Bumblebee

A little flimsy and floppy, to be honest. Very nice design, but the quality is lacking.

Quite a lot of fun. Was a pain in the butt the first time I transformed him to car mode as I couldn't seem to line up everything probably and when I squeezed one part into place, another part of the roof popped out but I got there. Also the mask gimmick was tricky cos the regular face was really hard to remove on mine and the whole head kept popping off when I tried (in fact the gimmick would probably have been a whole lot simpler with the whole head being swappable rather than the faces) but I used some tweezers to prise off the face to put the mask on and switched them back without problem now the face has been taken off that first time. I think the only part of the figure that bugs me is the back end of the car on the back of the lower legs. Just wish it was a bit neater and compact and clicked together nicely. But yeah other than that I'm pretty happy with him and he looks great and poses quite nicely (I like the articulation in the arms especially). I'm gonna paint some extra yellow and silver in places where he should have them too to make him more accurate.

I’ve had some issues pegging everything tightly into vehicle mode, but robot mode on my VW Bee is pretty stable. He’s a lot of fun! He does also have an issue with the armor on the back of his legs getting in the way of itself to hinder posing, but my god he’s an improvement over Camaro Bee. Most of it is in the backpack - it actually holds together without falling out and is uses pins so it shouldn’t loosen horribly. Plus I LOVE the battle mask, I’m displaying mine with it.
Sorry, this is the only picture I have since I’m at work but I did manage to find the Marvel Legends Thing yesterday too so getting him and Bumblebee both at once was great

So much sass in such a little bug.

I actually do still prefer my camaro Bee figure but yes pins it the roof section of that would have been nice (though as shown in pics and video I posted here ages ago mine is fine after having added bit more friction in that particular roof joint).
Got them in similar poses like a team up. I really don't like VW Bee's gun arm though. It just looks pitiful compared to the bulkier ones on other Bee figures.

Just tried and nope cos surprisingly Vw Bee has a thicker elbow joint that means Camaro Bee's arm cannon will not fit over it and Vw Bee's puny weapon doesn't fit on Camaro Bee's elbow joint either.

Best way I've found is leave the butt end of the car folded down (behind his lags) and save that for last. I usually fold the side stuff into place (doors, headlights), then plug the roof/hood in, then push arms in place and close the front wheel wells, then finally the car butt. It's definitely annoying to line everything up though.

I heard that from others as well. Not sure about this one. Really hated that Camaro.

I found the first time transfdrming him into car mode was tricky but after a couple goes I found it much easier now I have a better sense of where everything goes and what fits where and the tolerances and such. Very happy with the figure overall but as I said before I just still prefer the Camaro Bee but both are currently my 'deskbots' that are getting much play while I procrastinate on my projects.

Bee is a mess with a dumb alt mode... if he tabbed together, I might feel different about him, but holy mother of god is he a pain in my d### to even try to tab together, and the hood clearance in bot mode to fold his trunk under is so close to non-existent, it makes want to never transform him again; that being said, he's got a bitchin' battle mask

My main issue with Jazz was the price. But the toy itself is fine and yes, much better than VW Bee. I just got him today and hate him so much. Mine is defintitely defective due to one of his breastplates not turning, which messes the entire alt mode. Still, even if it worked, I woldnt know how to get that alt mode to tab together. Those pegs in the back really dont do much. I have a replacement on the way, we will see.

Yeah, he's beserker/crankcase levels of everything wrong with movie figures (too many tabs which leads to a higher chance of qc issues wrecking one or more modes)
Jazz I was okay with the price mainly b/c of all the paint, and b/c it felt like he had just as much meticulous effort put into him as any of the other figures - and certainly more than crankcase

Berserker and Crankcase are a breeze compared to VW Bee. I honestly think there is something wrong with that toy's design.

Uh. Haven't had any issue with Berserker at all (one of my fave Decepticon figures ever, at least in robot mode.. vehicle is a bit bland, due to the choice of vehicle itself rather than the recreation though Toyhax stickers improve it a lot) and VW Bee was only tricky for me when transforming him for the first time as I didn't understand how to get certain things tabbed and his backpack properly in place (cos the instructions are often not too clear). He's absolutely fine now.

Hey them's just the three most recent ones (and with the TLK figure being re-released in Studio I guess all three of these count as Studio Series figures now).
I also have the DotM deluxe, the second AoE Deluxe, the second 2007 figure (concept camaro) and the huge Ultimate figure I found in charity shop recently. And in past I've had the 2007 Classic Camaro, the black and cliffjumper versions of the 2007 concept camaro, the RotF deluxes, the Nitro and Cyberfire figures from DotM and the Human Alliance figure. Only deluxe i can think of that i've never had was the first AoE one (the black 1967 camaro). I cull my collection time to time selling off figures I don't like or have grown bored with and just keep my faves but I find it oddly difficult to not own more than at least several deluxe movie Bumblebees
EDIT: Oh i forgot Battle Blade Bumblebee. I had him but sold him after a while cos he didn't scale well with anything. He even got reclassified from Deluxe to Voyager when re-released.

His design and alt mode is so different from one movie to the next that it makes sense to have several. 70s camaro, beetle, new camaro and that cool ass camaro in the begining of AOE. Plus his body changes too, quite drastically in AOE with his chest and pentograms.
I got SS Ironhide today and I like him a lot. Dot have much time to talk but I am surprised he and VW Bee are in the same line since they are so different in the way they are designed. Ironhide is actually simpler but makes for a more enjoyable and elegant transformation. And everything tabs in well. Reminds me a bit of how enjoyable TLK Hound was. ANd i Have 0 issue with calling him a voyager, he has the mass to back it up. My main issue (aside from the bumper which we have all talked to death about) is that one of his gun has fake alt mode kibble. Its ok in robot mode but it looks super silly when plugged to his truck bed in alt mode.

Yeah, it's just tricky if you're someone who just wants one figure per character for the shelf. Hard to pick a fave in both robot and vehicle modes but I'm pretty happy owning several of my fave versions of him.

know what's weird? I've been quite happily transforming VW Bee from robot to car and back (done it many times since I got him on Friday) but my previous five Studio figures I bought I haven't actually properly attempted transformation yet despite having had some of them for months. Stinger, Blackout, Thundercracker, Ironhide and Megatron. I buy mainly for the robot modes anyways but it's a bit strange even to me that I haven't even felt an urge to transform them. I think sometimes it's cos I haven't the time to go through it and I just want them up on the shelf and for that it's the robot mode they all come packaged as (often just fixing up anything that was 'mistransformed' to fit in package like Ironhide's hood/door pieces. I need to find some time to just take one off the shelf and learn a transformation again.

But what we did not expect was a teaser from Entertainment Earth on Twitter, which is advertising that there are new reveals set for tomorrow and that they will have the first pre-orders up! And in this tweet, which mentions Star Wars, Marvel, and Transformers, we have our first look at the potential Studio Series Drift and Mini Dinobot Strafe!
The image shows us a Drift figure that looks exactly like his The Last Knight toy but with a much more screen accurate paint job. And right above Drift? Mini Dinobot Strafe! Mini Strafe appears to just be his movie model added to the image, but it raises the possibility of us getting Mini Dinobots at last.
Check out the image below, and let us know what Studio Series figures you are looking forward to seeing revealed this weekend!

Wouldn't surprise me. A premium painted Deluxe with an extra mini figure lines up with Grotusque and Scorponok last year, as well as HASCON Arcee with Ultra Magnus, both of which were available as soon as they were announced, not to mention all of the Amazon Deluxe exclusives. The blue TLK version could be the one leaked coming to stores.
