I am still waiting for TFSource to have the decency to notify everyone who preordered MP 10 Eva and say "sorry, you aint getting your preordered figure", if they had done so, I could have bought it from another store before it was too late. Instead, my preorder still stands and will likely go unfulfilled forever...
I hope my preordered fembots find their way home...
U listening TFSouce?

Agamemnon wrote:Is it possible that this is some confusion due to Chinese New Year and that the rest of the shipments will be coming in a month or so?
That's quite possible.
Another possibility is that HasTak couldn't make enough stock in time, what with Chinese New Year being so close, as most workers are preparing for their trip back to their respective hometowns already. Chinese New Year is like the single most important festival in China. You couldn't pay a factory worker enough to stay and make more toys (relatively speaking), as it's likely the only holiday long enough for him to spend time with family and friends in his hometown.
Hopefully we'll see more stock being produced later on.

WTF? I still haven't gotten anything. The email I got today just told me to basically wait while they sort things out. I ordered one of each of the 3 angels.
If this sh*t hits the fan and hlj won't guarantee my one of each fig order, I'm gonna be raising bloody hell at them! I, for the first time ordered 3 figs at the same time instead of hobbysearch/amiami. I hope I won't regret that decision!

hlj offered their stocks at Y 250 less and now they are having troubles fulfilling demand........they're really scaring me!
Here's the email btw
"Thank you for writing. We have received them but the supply was very short. We have reduced the orders for multiple pieces to one piece each, and are now fulfilling them strictly by chronological orders. We cannot guarantee if your order will be fulfilled or not at this point. Please check your order status tomorrow. We apologize for the inconvenience, but your understanding is appreciated.

NAVI-ko. Better known in the West as the Predacon computer from Beast Wars. The Japanese dub made the computer have its own girlish personality as though it were its own character. The name itself likely came from when, in the English version, Megatron spoke to the computer in the first episode with the command "Navigation, is this the right planet?" While he was more addressing the computer's navigational system to activate, the Japanese might have mistook this for being the computer's name instead, and shortened it to "NAVI", with the "-ko" suffix added in reference to its feminine voice, for the "-ko" suffix in real life is used for Japanese female names (and literally means "child" on its own). "NAVI-ko" could also be a double meaning pun for "navigational computer".
As for its appearance in this manga, back at the Yokohama Transformers Expo that was held back in August 2014, a short promotional manga was produced during the event that featured NAVI-ko as her own character in a new body based on the Prime Cyberverse Airachnid toy minus the helicopter rotor and given new fins to repurpose her altmode as dolphin.

Say what you will about how the Japanese production and reinterpretation of beast wars, that's a really damn adorable use of the Airachnid character model; with some minor modification.

Tell me about it. Airachnid figs were flooding the shelves of my local TRU's for ages, until AOE came along. Had I seen this, I'd have my very own custom NAVI-ko-chan on my desktop right now.

To be fair, the deluxe figure is horrible and would have proven quite difficult to mod. However, the Legend figure is not too bad and she'll be cute as a button and in scale!
This will also be a challenge for me, to make a tiny weeny custom instead of making a voyager/ultra sized one.

Ah, but you forget that I've got a 3d printer. I'm not saying it'll be easy, but I could technically replace the problematic parts with custom designed ones.

Thank you for writing, and for your patience as we were waiting on an update from the manufacturer about these items.
Unfortunately, due to unexpectedly low production numbers of TKT81690, TKT81295, and TKT81296, we received a much smaller shipment of these items than we ordered. Orders are filled in exact chronological order, and we're afraid stock ran out before your order and the orders of some other customers could be filled.
We do not anticipate receiving additional stock, but are keeping your order on file as long as there is a chance a cancellation could fill your order. These items may become available for your order if other customers cancel their orders.
If all stock is allocated to other customers without being able to fill your order, our orders department will e-mail you to let you know.
In the meantime, if you would prefer to seek these items elsewhere, the My Account system (accessible by clicking "My Account" on the top right of pages on http://www.hlj.com?utm_source=seibertron.com&=&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=news%20post) will allow you to cancel items anytime before they enter payment processing.
We’d like to sincerely apologize for this situation and any inconvenience and disappointment it may have caused. Thanks once again for your patience, and for your business with us!

Don't use "-ko" and "-chan" together. They're both honorifics. "NAVI-chan" is already taken by the computers of both the Maximal ship Yukikaze in Beast Wars Second and the Maximal ship Gung Ho in Beast Wars Neo.SKYWARPED_128 wrote:Had I seen this, I'd have my very own custom NAVI-ko-chan on my desktop right now.

Thanks very much for the encouraging words, fen, but everything hinges on me actually finding an Airachnid figure for cheap. Cuz I sure as hell ain't paying evilbay prices for that thing.

I see. I sort of took it that NAVI-ko was like a traditional Japanese name for girls, as in Setsuko or Kyoko, where the kanji character "ko" (meaning child) is popularly used in combination with other kanji characters to form girl's names.

Takara Chyromia's colors clash horribly. those purple parts are just wrong, so Hasbro all the way.
Takara Windblade is the superior one. More red and a better facepaint. However, I already have the hasbro so I not paying 40$ for her.
Beside, even if I wanted the Takaras, I'd be screwed anyway.
Speaking of fembots, I odered CC Splitstream from Chimumg for only 60$ shipped!

To be perfectly honest, it's disheartening. I haven't enjoyed collecting as of late due to dislike of a lot of figures and poor distribution into my area. So I relied a lot on Japanese releases. Now it seems I can't even do that.
Oh sure ... get them from America. That's an option, but with a poor Australian dollar it's not exactly affordable either.

Tell me about it. The Canadian $ does not fare better either. Around 75¢CAn for every US$. Add shipping, still in US$ and a possible hefty custom fee, and you can buy way less than you used to be.
I ordered Hasbro Arcee and Chromia from BBTS because I'm losing hope to ever see them live in store. Also, the girls are sold out everywhere, even the Hasbro ones! So, I had to bite the bullet and pay almost 35$CAN total each figures. Maybe more if the custom guys feel like dicks.
Sigh... At least, I don't have to pay for oversea shipping so that's that.
