To be fair, the deluxe figure is horrible and would have proven quite difficult to mod. However, the Legend figure is not too bad and she'll be cute as a button and in scale!
This will also be a challenge for me, to make a tiny weeny custom instead of making a voyager/ultra sized one.
Ah, but you forget that I've got a 3d printer. I'm not saying it'll be easy, but I could technically replace the problematic parts with custom designed ones.
Don't use "-ko" and "-chan" together. They're both honorifics. "NAVI-chan" is already taken by the computers of both the Maximal ship Yukikaze in Beast Wars Second and the Maximal ship Gung Ho in Beast Wars Neo.SKYWARPED_128 wrote:Had I seen this, I'd have my very own custom NAVI-ko-chan on my desktop right now.

Looking forward to it.

As an aside, the Predacons of Beast Wars Neo also had a NAVI for their ship Dinosaur, DNAVI.

Thanks very much for the encouraging words, fen, but everything hinges on me actually finding an Airachnid figure for cheap. Cuz I sure as hell ain't paying evilbay prices for that thing.Sabrblade wrote:Don't use "-ko" and "-chan" together. They're both honorifics. I see. I sort of took it that NAVI-ko was like a traditional Japanese name for girls, as in Setsuko or Kyoko, where the kanji character "ko" (meaning child) is popularly used in combination with other kanji characters to form girl's names.
You always learn something new from Sabrblade.

not sure if its cheap enough, but amazon seems to have her for $18 shipped, at least for now

I'd love to see that myself, as long as it's an original mold or at least a heavily modified version of Airachnid to fix the problems on that awful toy.grimdragon2001 wrote:SKYWARPED_128 wrote:

Thanks for telling, GrimDragon! I don't live in the US, so Amazon might not even ship it to me. But thanks anyway!

To be perfectly honest, it's disheartening. I haven't enjoyed collecting as of late due to dislike of a lot of figures and poor distribution into my area. So I relied a lot on Japanese releases. Now it seems I can't even do that.
Oh sure ... get them from America. That's an option, but with a poor Australian dollar it's not exactly affordable either.

Va'al's shot of her is quite creative. Her glancing to the left kinda dramatic effect. Perfectly executed.
