This time around, we've got some comparison pictures of SIEGE Deluxe Class WFC-S8 Cog, WFC-S9 Hound, WFC-S7 Sideswipe, and WFC-S10 Skytread (aka Flywheels) alongside their other versions and with other toys from this line. Each highly articulated Deluxe Class figure can interact with the Battle Masters, Micromasters and even with Cog, who is a "Weaponizer" that can come apart to become additional accessories which other Transformers action figures can utilize.
If you missed the news earlier today, SIEGE Voyager and Deluxe Class figures were found at Target. If you are in need of Target DPCI codes for SIEGE, you can find them in a news article from this past weekend.
Don't forget to check out our in-hand comparison pics of Micromasters, SIEGE Battle Masters, and our recent galleries of War for Cybertron SIEGE Voyager Class Optimus Prime and Megatron.

He must have a time machine!!!
Call it a hunch but I think he is talking about the TFC Six-Gun (Gear of War 3 or something like that), which is almost nothing like this one, though he is right about that figure, because that thing couldn't hold it's own weight to save its life if I remember correctly.

Nope. Cog never even showed up in the cartoon, the micromasters never showed up in the cartoon, Flywheels was never in the cartoon, the Target Masters didn't show up until season 3, Six-Gun only had one appearance which was either in season 2 or 3, and Magnus didn't show up until the film. It definitely isn't a straight G1 update line. Still, it would be nice to get a proper Cliffjumper and a Blaster who isn't enormous.

I'm doubtful, we've basically just had season 3 in Titans Return. At SDCC we were told to look at this as a G1 "expanded universe" and not a dedicated G1 line. They also said they were going to "debunk" the fans saying they don't like Beast Wars and the Unicron Trilogy in the coming years. I think after they start things up with Siege we're going to see some really crazy character inclusions in 2020.

These guys are all lookin real good. Hasbro is getting raw and robotic. I was going to get Cog and Sixgun anyway, so... it makes natural sense to get Prowl, Red Alert, Sideswipe, Hound, Optimus Prime, and then all the battle masters and micromasters to go with them. They look cool and it's a line that really synergizes with itself well; maybe even better than titans return(?)
The battle damage comes off easily in some areas... others not so much. My Siege Megatron came in the mail today before the Gundam paint remover marker I ordered had arrived. Me being of no patience at all, I walked over to Walgreens, got some 91% proof and started rubbing the battle damage off his chest. The paint came off of his chest with ease, but the paint on his legs and treads refuses to budge. My Sideswipe is supposedly arriving today. If the paint won’t rub off of his legs either, then I’ll take a can of testors to both figs.

Totally agree with u!
These are the figures I've been waiting for.. and it's abt time for a Rodimus Vs Galvatron showdown. And what's soundwave without blaster.
The final figures all look fantastic. Gonna to get them all except for Skytread. Really like that Cog, but too bad won't be getting it unless they come up with Fasttrack.

The return of the "System". The thing that unified all of Takara's early toy lines, and made play with US Transformers imaginative and creative. The 5 millimeter peg and port system. All this modularity spread throughout the line adds up to endless possibilities, and to me that equals fun!
Maybe I'm just stating the obvious, but I'm glad to see the system employed on this level again. I can't wait to integrate this line into older lines, and even integrate with my Microman toys. Fun times ahead!

What exactly are you looking for here? Are you looking to see if the whole bot in vehicle mode can somehow attach? Because the pieces should each have a 5mm peg and Fort Max has plenty of 5mm holes, so attaching the parts should be a no brainer.

Their robots with targeting computers and other senses we don't have, they don't aim like we do.

Yeah that's pretty much it. It wouldn't be a deal breaker for me, but it would just be a nice touch. Also I'm getting mixed messages about the deluxe weaponizes. Obviously every toy in the Siege line has the holes on the bottom of the feet, but I initially thought the deluxe weaponizes like Cog could attach to deluxe figures from past generations lines toys as well? Doesn't seem like it, but again, these toys are not in my area yet, so I cant determine for myself, thus the reason for so many questions.

Deluxe is the same as it has been since 2013 or so (after they really shrunk and simplified the line for Fall of Cybertron in 2012), it's just that the Universe Lambos were ridiculously tall for Deluxe even within it's own line of slightly tall Deluxe.

It may seem ridiculous but take the price of what transformers used to cost and put it in an inflation calculator. It’s actually makes sense. A $10 deluxe from the late 90s and early 2000s does come out almost $20 and a $20 voyager then to now is around $30

What’s a soundwave without blaster? Season 2 and 3 of transformers in the 80s. They had one interaction in the cartoon and barely that in any comics. The only real rivalry was one episode of headmasters which was one episode and they both died only to be resurrected and act like it never happened.
Seriously why are people actling like we didn’t get any toys of these guys in the past couple years?

I suspect most of the figures from previous lines will only have limited compatibility depending on how many 5mm ports they have. I doubt many will be able to use the "shoes" from the weaponizers. Some of the other parts might technically work, but look bad, like sticking a gun on the back of Alpha Bravo's leg.

-T30 Roadbuster
-CW Swindle/Hound/Rook
-TR Blitzwing/Megatron
-TR Triggerhappy
-POTP Optimal Optimus
Basically, at long has it has some shoulder/back/forearm ports you should be able to stack some weaponizer parts decently enough.

-TR Triggerhappy
-POTP Optimal Optimus

I think that you could get some interesting results by merging them with the CW and POTP combiners.

Generations; trailbreaker, scoop (6!), roadbuster, blitzwing.
TR; slugslinger, triggerhappy, broadside, perceptor, topspin, twintwist, chromedome, blurr, astrotrain, skullscruncher, wolfwire, mindwipe, hot rod.
POTP; jazz, dreadwinD, blackwing, punch, moonracer, cuttthroat, blot, sinnertwin.
All these had peg holes in good places on thier arms.
And I really must add God Bomber, he is gonna look AMAZING covered in as much as will fit. I can find 13 peg holes and 2 pegs on mine, I'm yet to get the ginrai to go with him.

Nice comparisons Seibertron, for the most part. I have some questions:
1. How long are WFC Cog's Gasket and Grommet components?
2. Where's Universe Deluxe Hound?
Seibertron wrote:Wolfman Jake wrote:Seiberton, since you've done those Battle Master comparison pics, do you have a preference between the Takara Legends take on the G1 Targetmasters or the newer Siege renditions of the same characters?
I prefer the Takara Legends take on the G1 Targetmasters.
*shrug* No matter which you go with, they get Firebolt's gun mode wrong (as seen here). So in a warped way the Hasbro version is better - it's still a mistake but at least it doesn't cost you as much.
Carnivius_Prime wrote:Even when you add all those guns and stuff, Sideswipe still looks boring as heck.
Would adding the sticker detail present on the G1 toy help, or do you find that one boring too?

crash8burnt wrote:Who to pick for voyager?? That's an easy choice : Ironhide! There's so many bots to fill in the deluxe and Ironhide got to be voyager class. Only Hasbro finds it hard to decided.
Thats a terrible choice since it doesnt match the height chart at all. Ironhide cant be as big as Optimus or Megatron. Looks like Hasbro is being pretty smart with this line and making Ironhide a deluxe (so the right size and at a cheaper price point) but bigger than other deluxes like Hound.
In the end, we see what the deal was with the autobtos vs decepticons. The autobots had the numbers, but the Decepticons were bigger and had more firepower (plus flight).

Yeah, its pretty cool. I dont mind this way of doing things at all. We learn of all the figures we have to look forward to next year and then one year later same thing. And its always for a different subline.
The only thing I wished was that it we also had the same type and build of figures for the animated show currently on air. But I guess it now continues the Armada tradition that toys based on shows are more for kids and thus we should inhibit articulation/complexity/proportions for an action gimmick and ignore the technological advancements of the past.
