Who would have guessed Streetwise & Sinnertwin are the new recruits?!
Yes, they are joining the Earth Wars at the end of the current saga!
Streetwise (sometimes also known as Streetstar or Streetsmart) is a member of the Protectobots, a team of emergency, rescue and law enforcement bots. Other Protectobots already in the game are Hot Spot and First Aid. They were designed to protect humans from the Combaticons team that can combine into Bruticus.
In the case of Streetwise, our design was informed by the car whose design we thought looked really slick in the Generations Combiner Wars toyline.
Sinnertwin (sometimes also known as Twinstrike) is a member of the Terrorcons, a team of positively insane and exceptionally cruel Decepticons. They all have personality disorders and Sinnertwin’s resides in his sadistic nature when it comes to killing. He is the fourth Terrorcon to join the game after Hun-Gurrr, Cutthroat and Rippersnapper.
Our design for the game was also inspired by the Power of the Primes toyline.
Under investigation
Here is the issue reported that we've been investigating:
Players have reported that the amount of healing provided by First Aid/Reflectordoes not match the value displayed on the character’s screen. We are working at aligning these values in a future content update.
This is just an example of the reports that we've received from you and we continue to work hard to improve your experience with the game every day.
We would like to thank you for your time and patience, and if you have any issues to report, please get in touch with us here: support@transformersearthwars.com. Alternatively, you can reach out to us in game via Menu > Community > Contact Support.
Bug Fixes / Balance Update
The following bug fixes and balance update are coming to the game!
G1 Prowl &Brawl power core
We have updated the description of the G1 Prowl and Brawl power core. It now reflects more accurately the amount of extra damage dealt for every level of the core.We have fixed a bug affecting the duration of the fire effect created by the G1 Prowl/Brawl power core. Previously, it could last up to 12 secs doubling the amount of damage provided over time. It now lasts for 6 secs as per the description.
White Kremzeek
We decided to disable the ability of White Kremzeek to target the HQ directly. Taking down the HQ easily from afar goes against our design idea of battles and unfortunately the Adaptive Shielding core did not prove to be a sufficient counterbalance. We are putting the White Kremzeeks in line with similar strong effects like Death Ray. The White Kremzeeks will stay as they are in any other aspect and will still be very useful against other targets than the HQ or in raids.
This balance update will go live at some point this Thursday.
Twitch
King Starscream has summoned two new recruits to join his Cybertronian army. They are ready to fight and their identities will be revealed during the next stream!
Join Deb, Ioannis, Fabien and Jairo who will be talking about game improvements, new features, upcoming bots and more!
Next stream will be LIVE Thursday, January 24 @5pm UTC!
The Transformers live action film franchise's latest installment is out, with Bumblebee hitting theaters last week. The Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast brings you its review of the movie, with host Scotty P and Tigertrack joined by longtime Twincast member Jon 3.0, now more famously known as Jon Bailey who achieved a dream by providing the voice acting talents for Soundwave and Shockwave in the film itself!
While this may go without saying for some, please be aware this episode contains complete spoilers for Bumblebee and we recommend listening in after you've seen the movie - and if you're reading this should have done so by now. If you haven't, it's great, stop reading this and go!
Here's the full list of sub-topics for this episode:
At the start and throughout the episode, we're extremely proud that the Twincast's own Jon Bailey was brought in to voice Soundwave and Shockwave in the film. Listen in for insight and insider information you won't hear anywhere else!
A general overview and discussion of the entire movie's plot occurs throughout, with looks at new characters like Dropkick and Shatter, as well as new human friends (and foes) like Charlie and Agent Burns.
We take time to reflect on not just the pop-culture references - including many to previous Transformers works of all kinds - but also on the characterization provided along the way which is found at an unprecedented high level for Transformers live action movies.
Is the toyline another poorly timed missed opportunity? Is the execution the problem? Either way you can probably guess we don't have nice things to say about Hasbro's merchandising contributions.
We conclude the episode with our holiday season bragging rights.
Thanks for listening in 2018, and we look forward to bringing you more fun Transformers discussion in 2019!

About Blaster:

Stats and Abilities:
2-Star:
Health: 1679
Attack: 156
Max Rating: 551
3-Star:
Health: 4124

Sonic Attacks used in Blaster’s Basic Ranged and Special Attacks deal 5~6% more damage for each Amp Charge on Blaster.
Basic Ranged Attacks
70~80% chance to inflict Interference, lowering Ranged Damage by 10~20% and decreasing Projectile Speed for 10 seconds.
Heavy Attack
100% chance to inflict Shock, dealing 30% of Attack over 5 seconds.
Shocks are 20% stronger for each Amp Charge on Blaster.
Block
Activates a Shield, reducing incoming Damage by 6~15% while holding Block and for 0.2 seconds once released.
Blaster’s Shield lasts 50% longer for each Amp Charge on him.
Signature Ability – Absorption Shield
Blaster’s Shielding system can be upgraded to absorb incoming energy attacks and repair damage. A similar upgrade was requested by his fellow Autobots for their audio receptors as an answer to his taste in music.
While Shielded
Blaster’s Shield allows him to shrug off the impact of Basic Energy Ranged Attacks and reduces a further 20% of incoming Energy Damage. Additionally Energy Attacks that hit Blaster while his Shielding is up have a 40% chance to instantly Repair Blaster for 7~17% of the opponent’s Attack Rating, if the attack is a Special Attack he repairs double that amount instead.
Special Attacks:
Special 1 – Amped
Turn up the volume, start the beats.
Blaster gains up to 2 additional Amp Charge(s).
60% chance to grant a Power Gain Buff, generating 30% of Max Power over 10 seconds.

Synergy Bonuses:
Mutual – Allies – Ultra Magnus, Arcee
+2~8% Armor.
Mutual – Enemies – Soundwave
+2~8% Attack.
Outgoing – Shield Amp – Soundwave, Mirage, Rhinox
1.5~10% Damage Reduction while Shielded.
Outgoing – Brain Drain – Shockwave
Shockwave generates 1~3 Energy Charges at the start of the fight and every 25 seconds.
Incoming – Brain Gain – Shockwave
25% Increase to Attack against Demolition Bots. Shockwave only gets this benefit if all bots on his team have this synergy.
Strong Match-ups:
Galvatron – Galvatron greatly relies on his Ranged Damage, something Blaster is an expert at reducing.
Soundwave – Blaster is able to Repair himself with his own Reflected Projectiles. Let the Rivalry Begin.
Weak Match-ups:
Bumblebee GS – The little gold speedster will break through Blaster’s Shielding, inflicting Shock damage on him everytime he blocks.
Bludgeon – This tanky warrior does not use energy projectiles and will not allow Blaster to Repair when struck by his projectiles.
Recommended Modules for Blaster:
Laser Guidance Module
This module will greatly increase Blaster’s Ranged Damage and Speed, a perfect fit for a bot that can do the inverse to his opponent.
Repair Module
The Repair Module will add to the constant Repairs he gets with his Signature Ability unlocked.
We've received new information directly from Hasbro, about the Kabam mobile game Transformers: Forged to Fight and the latest update for it - which features an iconic character in the Transformers roster, with a spruced up / new-ish design: Bumblebee!

Check it out, and let us know what you think!
Add Bumblebee to your ultimate squad December 21st at 10AM PST!
About Bumblebee:
Faction: Autobot
Class: Scout
Small, eager, and brave, Bumblebee acts as messenger and spy. Due to his small size, he dares to go where others can’t. He idolizes the bigger Autobots, especially Optimus Prime and Prowl while having a special bond with all his human allies.
Stats and Abilities:
Grants a 24~32% Melee Evasion Buff that is removed the next time this bot Evades.
Sidestepping:
Grants up to 3 Critical Rate Buffs that each increase Critical Rating by 20~28%. These buffs are removed each time this bot lands a hit.
Critical Hits:
100% Chance to Break the opponent’s Shielding, completely Nullifying all Shields and inflicting Shock, dealing 50~90% Energy Damage over 5 seconds.
Signature Ability – Bee Brave
Bumblebee isn’t the strongest or toughest bot, but while staying close to his enemy, he channels his unparalleled courage.
Bumblebee generates 2~4.0 of Remaining Max Power every second and gains a 10% Melee Bonus while the enemy is within close range.

Grants 20 Critical Rate Buffs that each increase Critical Rating by 20~28%. These buffs are removed each time this bot lands a hit.

Heavy Attacks gain +2~5% Attack Buff for each alive team member.
Outgoing – Role Models – Optimus, Prowl
+2~8% Armor
Incoming – Espionage Specialists – Mirage
14~70% less likely to activate opponent’s abilities when using Sp2 and Sp3.
Incoming – Allies – Arcee, Grimlock
+2~8% Armor
Strong Match-ups:
Rhinox – Bumblebee will tear through Rhinox’s shielding, leaving him prime for Bee’s critical hits.
Soundwave – Bee can Shield Break with both Ranged and Melee his, ensuring even the mighty Soundwave can’t Reflect Ranged attacks for long.
Weak Match-ups:
Bonecrusher – The master of Bleeds will punish Bumblebee with every crit.
Dinobot – Bumblebee is rewarded for dashing at opponent’s and staying near them, but dashing into and hitting Dinobot’s block would be a painful mistake.
Recommended Modules for Bumblebee:
Nightbird’s Mark – With both his two major abilities boosted, Bumblebee will become exponentially more powerful.
EMI Module – Bee will gain the ability to Evade Ranged Attacks, forcing you to stay within Melee Range and in turn allowing him to generate power with his Signature Ability.
Welcome to the latest episode of the Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast! This episode features your host ScottyP with Megatronus, RodimusConvoy13, and xRotorstormx. Listen in as we discuss the latest news, toys, and more.
Episode #189 "S.O.S. Dinobots" is available directly and in our RSS Feed, and should appear on iTunes, Google Play, and Stitcher Radio within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
The cast has obtained select Power of the Primes deluxe class and legends class figures, and we're ready to share our thoughts. Each of the deluxe class figures has their allure, but Dreadwind and Swoop appear to be the consensus favorites. On the legends side, Beachcomber is groovy, and Windcharger is still... questionable. But at the end of the day, we're still asking the million dollar question: who asked for combining Dinobots?
Not just a redeco.
We sidebar for a short discussion on the surprisingly good deluxe Power of the Primes Jazz - that car mode is fantastic - and the even more surprising Cybertronian-coded MAGA tampo on his side. The crew does its level best to explain the situation, from the context on why this particular acronym might be offensive to many, our personal disappointment in the sullying of this minority-voiced character, to the shortcomings in Hasbro's official response.
It's no joke.
Onto equally wacky but more upbeat topics, we've got wind of the upcoming Street Fighter II crossover, featuring Titans Returns Optimus Prime, Megatron, and Hot Rod as Ryu, M. Bison, and Ken, as well as Generations IDW Arcee as Chunli. These are some difficult repaints to justify a secondary purchase, but we're sure there are fans out there who are just as excited as we are intrigued.
All hail MEGS Bison!
Speaking of redecos, MP12+ Lambor (AKA Sideswipe) has started shipping out to those fans looking for a G1/anime-accurate color scheme. ScottyP walks us through the differences, including the varying shades of white and the MP14 face sculpt used for this release. Although the crew predicts only dedicated MP collectors will make the jump for this release, we hope for more MP+ announcements, particularly an MP10+ and perhaps even a whole new Optimus Prime 3.0.
He's got white booties!!!
We quickly move to another piece of Masterpiece news - the full reveal of MP Dinobot. Select alt-mode weaknesses aside, this figure already appears to be a landmark feat of engineering, and the Generations crossover display possibilities have us chomping at the golden disk. Dinobot's high price point, however, leads us to speculate on the body-blow a potential Beast Wars Megatron has in store for our wallets..
Money shot.
Masterpiece news isn't over yet, folks - we've still got Movie Masterpiece Barricade on the docket, and his full reveal has got us in a tizzy. It's amazing what one forgets over 10 years, and so the crew parses over specific design cues, and their accuracy - including the face sculpt, claws, and the conspicuous lack of Frenzy. Either way, we highly anticipate some racy interrogations of LadiesMan217 ahead.
Mischief, managed.
ScottyP provides some thoughts on the RID15 cartoon conclusion, and then we jump right into Optimus Prime #13 - official Seibertron.com review here. Though this issue starts a slow but welcome consolidation of open threads, questions remain. How is Onyx Prime influencing events? When are they going to finally elaborate on Bludgeon's Unicron connection? Will the reemergence of the Dinobots lead us back to Grimlock? Most importantly... could Prowl be any more badass?
Oh, those Dinobots - always getting into trouble.
Bragging Rights for the holidays: what's on our holiday wish lists, and what did we score on Black Friday?
We gotta have it.

Welcome to the latest episode of the Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast! This episode features your host ScottyP with Megatronus, and special guest and news staff member Bronzewolf. Listen in as we discuss the latest news, toys, and more.
Episode #188 "Mutinous Intent" is available directly and in our RSS Feed, and should appear on iTunes, Google Play, and Stitcher Radio within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
Our illustrious news staff member Bronzewolf joins us for this special episode - good old wolfy introduces himself, and we promptly get to business. There are reports Hasbro is looking to acquire TakaraTomy. We discuss the likelihood of this development - and all the more likely it seems given even more recent reports that Hasbro has made on offer to acquire Mattel - and try to puzzle out how a Takara acquisition would benefit our friends across the Pacific.
Takara's logo is blue. Hasbro's logo is blue. Match made in heaven.nok
One graceful transition later, and we're on to Machinima's new Titans Return series. The trailer is up, and we approach the news with caution and trepidation. Will Titans Return be a regrettable repeat of Combiner Wars? Has Machinima found a way to incorporate fan criticism into this new work? Are we growing fatigued with the frame rate? Most importantly, where are the rest of the Cybertronian civilians? We might not see too many lay Cybertronians, but at least we get to meet the cast.
Trypti-scream!
Let's take a Listener Question. Seibertron board member westjames/notirish asks: "What are your thoughts on the RID 15 cartoon as a whole?" This prompts us to relate our individual experiences with Robots in Disguise, especially as compared to Transformers Prime and that golden grail of Transformers animation, Rescue Bots. Even with those big shoes to fill, RID represents an interesting corpus of fiction and has contributed a great deal to the Transformers mythos. For that, and more, we salute it.
Roll to the rescue! Err, wrong show.
Lost Light #10 is upon us, and it's a doozy. Spoilers abound, so beware - in the meantime, you can check out the official Seibertron.com review here. The revelation that the Protectobots and Mirage are caught in a Getaway-induced memory coma has us stuck in 'WOW' on repeat. This twist combined with the character-driven, thriller-inspired narrative has us hooked, and exited for what the remaining issues of the Mutineers Trilogy brings. What else can we uncover in this issue when we go through with our fine tooth combs? A deep reading commences.
Whether you think it's good or bad, it's loud!
Transformers First Strike #1, on the other hand, is truly forgettable. Or is it? While we certainly don't reach the time-loop highs of cult classics like 12 Monkeys, TF First Strike provides crucial context that we can appreciate. As the bulk of First Strike - an event that mostly serves as a vehicle for Visionaries and Unicron - unfolds, this book gives us a chance to catch up with Arcee, Kup, and Blackrock... we just hope this goes somewhere.
IDW owns this mess.
A brief mention of the upcoming MP Dinobot's absurd preorder placeholder price (PPP to those in the know) gives way to that special time of the year: Transformersmas 2017. Bronzewolf walks a clueless ScottyP and Megatronus through this fun and engaging series of photo contests through the month of December. Make sure to break out your cameras (or camera phones) to snap shots of your favorite figures for this new-classic Seibertron community event.
Santa Maximus!
Bragging Rights, short and simple - what has the cast bought since our last show?
Real Deals in Real Time.

Welcome to the latest episode of the Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast. Intrepid host ScottyP is joined by RodimusConvoy13 and, in what is like the sighting of a rare, albino elk, Razorclaw0000! What wise Transformers insights will they drop on you in this episode? More than you can imagine, Optimus Prime.
Episode #182 "Great Expectations" is available directly and in our RSS Feed, and should appear on iTunes, Google Play, and Stitcher Radio within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
Once the usual pleasantries are out of the way, the team dives into the San Diego Comic Con 2017 exclusives. Ordering seemed to go pretty smoothly for the cast this year, what was your experience? We also take time to reminisce on past experiences with obtaining exclusives.
He was a skater bot
She said see you later bot
Moving onto more exclusives, the latest exclusive set from site sponsor Big Bad Toy Store has been released in the form of the Titans Return "Siege on Cybertron" box set, with preorders starting to be fulfilled. We discuss our thoughts on the set and how poor ScottyP waited too long and doesn't have a preorder. These are beginning to arrive at collectors' homes now, so if you got a chance to get in on this set let us know what you think of it by replying to this post!
It's only $5 more than the Takara version of one of the figures. By Grabthar's Hammer! What a savings!
Next up, RodimusConvoy13 fills us in on the recently announced MP-40 Targetmaster Hot Rodimus. Is a new deco and a Targetmaster enough to warrant a purchase of this fine Masterpiece? The various differences between MP-28 and MP-40 are discussed along with variances between Firebolts and MP Targetmasters in general. Plus: an idea for a repaint that has Razorclaw0000 getting, well, let's just say "excited".
You'll never get me in full on Transformers: The Movie coloring, so stop asking.
Keeping the topic on upcoming Takara releases, our stalwart crew discusses the reveals of the upcoming Legends Overlord, Blitzwing, and Autobot Clones. What is difference between these and their Hasbro releases? What do we like better? Can the Shuffler repaint be the beginning of a robotic pachyderm army you never knew you wanted? What about the Clones? There's a little grumbling about them, but hey, it's not like Cloudraker is getting replaced by Ben Reilly...
No, seriously, this is the real Cloudraker. That other guy was the clone.
Staying with toys, Scotty gives us his thoughts on Masterpiece Movie Optimus Prime and they are not good thoughts. He explains the difficulty in the transformation and poor instructions that come with the figure. It's more of an action figure than a Transformer to him, and the comparisons are damning. Listen in for the full rundown and find out why this one might have needed a little bit more time in Beta before being sent out to store shelves, and save money by just checking out the awesome Seibertron.com Gallery of MPM-4 Movie Masterpiece Optimus Prime. Seriously, it seems viewing the gallery is more fun than trying to transform the toy!
Prepare to spend a lot of time turning me into a truck.
Masterpiece Movie Prime's lackluster in-hand presentation, from the perspective of the box, packaging, included paperwork, and range of accessories leads into a discussion on what some of our favorite packaging/presentations of Transformers figures have been. What makes a great experience just opening the box? Has there ever been a figure that was greatly enhanced for you by the experience of opening the package? Let us know some of your favorites!
One thing we can all agree on - this packaging was just darn cool.
Moving on from toys to Media, it's been announced that the Japanese version of the G1 Cartoon is being released on Blu-Ray. Apparently this is getting released with no remastering. So it will be DVD(or less) quality on three blu-ray discs. We ask, "What is the point?" Also, it's really expensive.
That's some sweet artwork though.
IDW's next big crossover event has started. We discuss First Strike and what we thought of it. Check out the Seibertron.com review here. It's a fun, action packed book that seems like a good jumping on point for the wider Hasbro/IDW Universe, but is the release schedule killing excitement for all the books it's spoiling?
Ninjas! Aaah! Oh, wait, I'm a ninja too.
Next we discuss Revolutionaries #7 and how the big reveal in that book ties into First Strike. ScottyP lets us know that we're missing out on some fun stuff in the Revolutionaries book and listeners should check it out. It's the book Kup is hanging out in, so it can't be all bad.
Don't we all miss Teaspoon, Cybertron's Chief Dishwasher?
We finish our comic talk with the last issue of a fantastic series, Til All Are One #12. We talk about what we loved about this particular issue and the series in general. It was a great book that showed the general day to day life on Cybertron. There's still the annual coming, so tell us what you want to see wrapped up in that story due later this year.
It was so much more than just a book about me!
The Twincast goes off the rails for a moment and lands in Westeros. Yes, again. We have a spoiler laden discussion that could easily spiral out of control. Will anyone take the Black and go to the Wall? Winter is coming! Hurry, let's steer this back to Transformers before the White Walkers get us!
You think he likes Brienne, wait until he sees Arcee!
We finish off the show with some bragging rights. What new goodies have we gotten since the last time? How much is currently in transit?
You think you like Topspin? You're gonna love me!
Until next time, we're the Twincast!

Welcome to the latest episode of the Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast. Join host Scotty P plus almost everyone else you know and love from the Twincast, including Counterpunch, Jon 3.0, Megatronus, RodimusConvoy13, and Rotorstorm. With a busy summertime of news, a calm approaches and the gang finally gets to Kickback with some Shrapnel and drop poetic Bombshell opinions.
Wait, did that say "poetic"? Yes indeed, as a lighthearted way to start out this episode, the first and probably last ever Twincast / Podcast Poetry Grand Slam is here! Each podcaster came up with Transformers related haikus, and the topics range from e-Hobby New Year's Specials to the death of the cinematic universe's writer's room. Sit tight while the cast works off the cobwebs of being bound to a news cycle for discussions as we have some fun on poetry night.
This: Not a Haiku
It's only a short poem
Not what we did here
(kinda)
Movie topics won't die on us yet. With the delay of the Bumblebee Movie, along with the news of John Cena being cast in the film, we attempt to take it seriously but just make wrestling jokes instead. We hope you're ready for an Attitude Adjustment, because it's guaranteed that you won't be able to see this topic. Its time is up, its time is now, so five-knuckle-shuffle your way up to the download button!
Transformers vs G.I. Joe
Of course, regular listeners of the show may be acutely aware that due to the way recent show topics have fallen, we've neglected to give our in-hand opinions on this year's biggest release: Titan Class Trypticon with Necro and Full-Tilt. Counterpunch and Scotty P are proud owners of this dinosaur menace, and talk about their product codes, fixes that were completed, and how the process of stickers went. Plus - if you're driving near I-40 somewhere west of the Mississippi, maybe you'll spot Jon 3.0's wayward Trypticon son. All this and (mostly) everyone forgetting why he's called Trypticon awaits you in this part of the show.
Click the image to check out the full Seibertron.com gallery for Titan Class Trypticon!
As we continue with Titans Return, we take a look ahead to totally rumored releases for Power of the Primes that definitely maybe will happen or won't happen. Are we discussing totally real events that definitely happened? Is the rumor mill one corn short of overloading our meal with pepper? Will this paragraph ever make sense at all? Get your copy of a Clean Desk Policy ready to read between the lines for this part of the program, with one last hint given here by this seriously unrelated image below.
Just play along, ok? Thanks, pals
Ah, The Rebirth. The classic, revered, definitely not rushed out of production five three episode wrap-up to the American version of the G1 cartoon series. Who can forget the superb depth of characterization given to new toys like Six Shot, and the definitely not weird at all part where a little boy becomes Arcee's head. We can finally celebrate the normalcy of that latter part with a new Arcee with "Leinad" toy, as we were able to discuss last episode, but now we can do so while taking pot-shots at Flo Rida. In case you hadn't yet gathered from this post, the episode is called "Wipe-Out" for a reason.
Maybe Leinad is the real Florida.
We haven't forgotten about comics yet, even if you stopped reading. With last week's release of Lost Light #8 still fresh on our minds, we consider the book's plot, characters, and larger message. With huge mysteries inching closer to resolution, be warned that some spoilers within might be particularly rough if you aren't ready or willing to hear them. Wipe-Out even appears for Total Brand Awareness with this podcast! We also take a quick moment to discuss the important and (to most of us) effective real-life message in the book about what it is to be transgender, and speculate on whether this is the final lampshade on Spotlight: Arcee.
Avid Twincast listener Agonizer discusses this episode
We finish things off by totally wiping out with our extra time in a bragging rights segment, then take some parting shots at the not-surprising-but-still-totally-a-bummer pricing of Flame Toys' Drift figure. It's safe to say there's at least one upcoming release unlikely to be featured in this bragging rights segment in the future, but we will accept your kind donations or "review" samples.
Kamui Senketsu?
We hope you enjoy this episode, and stay tuned for another in a week or two right here on Seibertron.com.

Welcome to the latest episode of the Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast! Join host Scotty 'Winter is Coming' P as he hangs out with Twincast iron throne claimers Counterpunch 'When people ask you what happened here, tell them the fans remember. Tell them winter came for House Hasbro.'' & Tigertrack 'No need to seize the last word Lord Counterpunch, I’ll assume it was something clever.' Joining us as well is news mod from the North, william-james88 'It’s my luck I ended up with a bunch of fire worshippers.' And live from the airport terminal, the current Iron Throne King, Seibertron, shares his experience at this weekend's extravaganza. Listen in as we discuss the reveals from SDCC related to toys, comics, and the future of Transformers.
This was it, a huge weekend for Transformers fans to finally get some new information about the brand. It's been a long time coming. What particularly tickled our fancy from the preview, breakfast, and panel? Listen in to find out as we discuss...and be sure to check out the Seibertron.com SDCC 2017 Events galleries to see even more awesome photos from the event!
Power of the Primes Rodimus Prime and the new 'evolution gimmick'. Is he the flame-decoed space winnebago of our dreams?
The first legit voyager Starscream! Is this figure truly more than meets the eye-- of course it is-- but the podcast discusses just how it might be better than you think.
Next up was the somewhat underwhelming deluxe class reveals: Jazz, Dreadwing and Blackwing.
The return of Pretenders, a perfect peaceful minibot, and the Power of the Primes 'theme' falls into our optical field next... What happened to the rest of our headmasters and targetmasters? Why is Sluglsinger the last new figure in Titans Return (wave 6)? What's going on with the Titans Return Arcee and Titanmaster Ultra Magnus? What? What. What!
We take a few minutes to chew over the con exclusives, GI JOE, and what might be in store for us at HASCON. Has Hasbro started a Revolution?
Our SDCC quest goes into its final evolution as we take the last bit of the podcast or so to discuss IDW at SDCC, Transformers fiction, and the massive reveal of... another entire book starring Thundercracker (playing Starscream). We all hope that Josh-boyfriend and Buster are prominent characters as well. There was some announcement about something called a 'UNICRON' so we talk about what that could be, and finish with a little TF VS. ROM #1 and a lot of Optimus Prime #9 gushing. I'm hoping for a Jon Snow moment for our beloved issue's hero, but am afraid the ending will stay more Ned Stark...This issue was a can't miss.
You did it! You made it to the end, and probably saw the second episode of the new season of Game of Thrones while I was focused on doing this news write-up. Please do not share any spoilers!
