Via Jim Sorenson's Disciples of Boltax blog, we finally get a look at the cover for his and Bill Forster's upcoming Complete Allspark Almanac! Artwork by Marcelo Matere and Josh Perez, showing off the main Transformers: Animated cast of Dinobots, Autobots, Decepticons, and some humans too, from Optimus Prime to Shockwave, Megatron and Captain Fanzone, Omega Supreme plus Cheetor, Rodimus and G2 Sideswipe - make sure to check it out below.

It looks like The Complete AllSpark Almanac is just three short weeks away, with an ETA of February 18th at fine comic book stores everywhere. (Probably hitting Amazon shortly thereafter, available for preorder now.) Here's Marcelo Matere's beautiful cover for the book, with excellent Josh Perez colors. (Josh also lent his talents to some of the new bonus material inside the book.)

For those of you who missed our Radio Free Cybertron interview, this is going to be a massive, 472 page tome that combines The AllSpark Almanac, The AllSpark Almanac II, The AllSpark Almanac Addenda we put together for the Transformers Collectors' Club, and ten-ish pages of new content teasing more of what Season 3.5 might look like. We worked closely with Derrick Wyatt to ensure that the book was as close to 100% canon as possible, with all new material carefully vetted (and a bit of old material tweaked or recontextualized.) I hope that you all get a big kick out of this one. V1 and V2 are insanely hard to find and fetch ridiculous prices on the secondary market, so it's very nice to get this material back in print where everyone can get a copy.

For the old school fans amongst us, you're going to love this one. Artist Darren Rawlings has taken some of the coolest vehicles from our childhoods, including K.I.T.T., the A-Team van, and of course the Back To The Future DeLorean, and turned them into his vision of what they'd look like as Transformers.

You can see more of Mr. Rawlings' work over at The Chive, and check out a few of the mirrored images below. (Clicking on the images below will also take you to his personal site for the full gallery of all of his artwork.)

Were you unable to make the SacAnime convention at the beginning of January, or did you miss your chance to hear from Peter Cullen, the voice of Optimus Prime (and many many more?). Fear not, as YouTube reviewer Sean Long was not only present, but has also shared recordings of the two panels featuring the veteran voice actor (around 50 minutes each), and an interview with the man himself! They touched upon personal stories, his opinion on Transformers toys past and present, favourite Optimus lines, potential successors, and future projects, from Rescue Bots, Robots in Disguise, and NASA. Find them below for the full viewing.

To refresh your memory about Cullen and his importance to the franchise, check out fellow Seibertronian and voice actor jON3.0's introduction to the man behind the mask, also mirrored below, highlighting the life, career and achievements of one of the human Transformers icons alive.

ABC's The Goldbergs is a love letter to show creator Adam F. Goldberg's childhood in the '80s and the decade itself. Because of Mr. Goldberg's love affair with the '80s and everything contained therein, our beloved Transformers have made a few appearances on the show and have even been a major part of the plot lines.

This week's episode just so happens to be one of those episodes and tackles the touchy subject of worrying about life and death, from a child's point of view. What better time to go see Transformers: The Movie?!

After watching the film with his best friend and hero, his grandfather Albert, Adam decides to film his own sequel to Transformers: The Movie and it's in this portion of the show that we really see just how much the thought of death impacts a child, and brings a poignancy to the episode. Also, it totally covers the death of Optimus Prime and speaks for an entire generation of kids (who are now adults) who sat there crying inside and out.

You can see the full episode over at ABC.com (if you have one of the cable systems they support) and here at Hulu.com

Fellow Seibertronian Cyberpath pointed us in the direction of this week's episode and provided access to these images, which we've mirrored below.
