While we have yet to hear from BotCon HQ for confirmation, Transformers: Animated mastermind Derrick J. Wyatt stated on his Twitter account - as reported by fellow Seibertronian Sabrblade - that he will indeed be attending the 2016 event in Louisville this April! Check out the tweet below, and stay tuned for updates soon.
We all know that Toy Fair, every year, also brings a number of licensed products to the floor - and below we have some images from company Sun-Stache, who produce themed eye-wear of the geekier kind. And that, for us of course, means Transformers. With some Age of Extinction and Generations packaging, there seems to be an Optimus, a Bumblebee and a generic Autobot logo version of these - check them out below!
Kids Logic were on hand during Toy Fair 2016 with their Mecha Nations Devastator and individual Constructicons in the display cases. For those unaware, these are non-transformable PVC figures. The Constructicons stand about 3.5 inches while Devastator is 8 inches and have light-up features.
Also on display at Toy Fair were a couple new collectible figures from Comicave Studios. These are 1/22 scale, highly poseable and feature Transformers Age of Extinction Optimus Prime and Bumblebee. The price on these guys have yet to be determined and there is no release info at this time. Stay tuned to Seibertron.com for all your Transformers news.
Adding to the previous composite image of Fortress Maximus (Fort Max) from the Transformers Titans Return toy line, Hasbro are making the most of their new social media presence (on Instagram, mostly) by showing off some additional official images of the big lug - or rather, of Cerebros and Emissary (and a sneaky shot of CW Optimus and MP Bumblebee for scale comparison with Max)! Check them out below.
Also, as fellow Seibertronian Cyberpath notifies us, the official Hasbro Transformers Facebook page has shared an image of the upcoming Leader class Soundwave - just chilling with some old tapes. Mirrored below for your viewing convenience, of course!
As an update to the gallery we posted yesterday, directly from New York and the 2016 Toy Fair taking place, Seibertron.com is proud to present its new iteration of the Titans Return line present at the Hasbro showroom, now with more close-ups, more comparisons, more images - just check out a sample below, and click on any of the images for the full works!
Note: You can also take a moving look through our video coverage of the display, here.
The Hasbro panel showed a few upcoming Robots in Disguise toys and we got the 3D renders for the Warrior class figures, the big Power Surge Optimus and the Platinum set. However, there was a ton of new stuff on the show room, giving us an idea at the vast amount of products coming out this year. This vast amount makes sense since the Investors Presentation made us aware that 70% of the Transformers toy market is dominated by Rescue Bots and Robots in Disguise (with Generations only making up 30%).
Here is a list of everything else that was revealed only through the display area:
One Step Changer Bisk
One Step Blizzard Strike Sideswipe
One-Step Changers/Advanced Optimus Prime
One-Step Changers/Advanced Strongarm
Legion Groundbuster
Legion Blizzard Strike Drift
Battle 2-pack Sideswipe with Minicon WindStrike
Battle 2-pack Strongarm with Minicon Sawtooth
Powersurge Heros Bumblebee with Minicon Buzzstrike
Powersurge Heros Sideswipe with Minicon Windstrike
Minicon 4 pack with Autobot Dragonus, Bash Breaker, Lord Doomitron, and Lancelon
3 step Energon Boost Bumblebee (with all-spark blue) and 3 step Drift (regular colours)
There is also a Warrior Grimlock rerelease which has a box with a new playability feature highlighted involving the weapon minicons.
And a slew of minicons, many of which can become weapons, such as Tricerashot, Lord Doomitron, Weapon Slipstream and Bashbreaker.
Fellow Seibertronians, hot on the heels of the product galleries, site owner Seibertron has uploaded a video of coverage of the Titans Return product display from the Toy Fair to the site's YouTube account. Check it out, and leave your comments below.
