FansProject have updated their site with a picture of concept art for the TFCon exclusive Powered Commander. This version appears to come with some extras, according to the artwork. If what the artwork is to be believed, then those lucky enough to receive this exclusive will receive shoulder missiles as well as what appears to be an energon-cube carrying case.
Also of interest is the sub-title TFCon Exclusive Version. Could we possibly see a general release of this figure sometime in the future? Seibertron.com will keep you informed!

Andrew Wildman may have let the cat out of the bag with his most recent blog posting. According to his blog, he was requested to draw a "convention special toy" that turns Energon Starscream into Skyquake. Considering there are only so many conventions, and that we already know that Thunderclash will be in the Botcon boxset, it may be safe to say that this figure may be one of the souvenir figures available at the show. This also may give us insight into what other molds they may be using as well.

UPDATE: Andrew Wildman changed his blog post to
this.
Admission to the Botcon rumor guilt? Sounds like.

rebelscum.com- Star Wars website, Rebelscum.com, has posted an image from the HASBRO Star Wars Panel showing the newly announced Star Wars Transformers Crossovers for the 2009 year.
This combination of two very popular franchises has caused fans in each camp to take sides on whether they are, or are not, worth being added to a collection.
This image announces an Ahsoka/Jedi Starfighter, Kit Fisto/ Jedi Starfighter, and new molds Battle Droid/ AAT, and Magna Guard/ Magna Guard Fighter.
Regardless of how you may feel, they seem to be doing pretty well, as HASBRO continues this play pattern into yet another wave.
You can see the original image

Toyfair, NYC- GI JOE and TRANSFORMERS brands have been together for quite some time. Spawning various cross-overs, fan fiction, and kitbashes, it's usually hard to talk about one without talking about the other eventually. Both brands even have live action movies set for release this summer.
In that vain, site owner SEIBERTRON recognizing that there may be a fair amount of GI JOE fans and collectors on the site as well (myself included), aims to please by doing his usual stellar job with capturing images for us to drool over. This time the products are the new GI JOE items shown at Toyfair in NYC.
You can view the gallery of Toyfair 2009 GI JOE images
here including a lot of movie product and a few items finishing up the Anniversary line. Then join in our discussion of all things modern era GI JOE
here.
And of course, then you can always go back and check out all things Transformers seen at Toyfair '09,
