Jess Wittenrich, who used to work for Fun Publications and who will be taking part in Pete's Robot Convention this summer, has released some concepts for 4 figures based on the Headmaster/Targetmaster era of Transformers! The 4 figures, which never saw the light of day but exist as concepts, include Nightbeat from Prime Smokescreen, Crosshairs from Generations Sergeant Kup, Brainstorm from Universe Cyclonus, and Triggerhappy from Fall of Cybertron Starscream. Each figure can be seen below, and more is to be discussed at Pete's Robot Convention this summer, so check them out, and let us know what you think in the comments section below!

We have an update for you on the shipping progress of the TFSS 5.0 set of figures. As you remember, the figures have been delayed, but we can pass along the word that the container containing the figures has arrived and orders are to be sorted this week! If you ordered these figures, you do need to log in and verify your address before 5pm Tuesday to receive the figures. We have quoted the full email below.

Hello subscribers!

Believe it or not the container is FINALLY here!
We will be preparing your first of three shipments this week so we need you to log in and verify your address on file by 5 pm on Tuesday March 14.
We have packed this final version in sets of two so you will only receive 3 shipments instead of 6.
Also for those of you on the installment payment plan, the billing dates will be April 3rd and May 1st. Please make sure your CC on file is current and correct.

Courtesy of this tweet from Twitter user Autovolt, we have a new image of a figure that was once in TFCC's plans before being unfortunately cancelled - an apparently fully Cybertronian counterpart to Sari Sumdac from Transformers: Animated, presumably transplanted into a non-Animated continuity! While it is sad we'll likely never get this Windblade retool, take a look at the picture below and tell us what you think in the forums nonetheless!

If you're still waiting for your Transformers Collectors' Club Subscription Service 5.0 figures, which we were told would ship mid-January as reported here, are now due to leave their point of origin this month, giving them until March to actually arrive in your hands. More information below.

This is a resend in case you didn't get this last week.

Hello Everyone!

We just found out that the ship did not sail before Chinese New Year with the FSS 5 figures aboard. It was delayed over 3 weeks and is now scheduled to leave Hong Kong on Saturday Feb 11. With everyone (in China) out on holiday for CNY, we were not informed of this until yesterday.

This puts the figures here around the first of March and we will get the first shipment out to you as soon as we can. I will keep you advised when the container arrives here.

I apologize for the continual delay.

It's been a while since we heard about these, but it looks as though the BotCon 2016 revealed Ninja Force Hologram Megatron figure is arriving in some collectors' hands! The images of the GI Joe vs Transformers crossover below are courtesy of Planet Iacon on Facebook, and show off the two modes of the translucent Decepticon leader (from G2!) using the Combiner Wars Warpath mold. Seibertronian Grimdragon2001 has given us a further update on the shipping of the Subscription Service 5.0 figures. The figures, as we know, have been pushed back, and it now appears they will be shipping at the end of February. The figures are also now being sent in 3 shipments. You can read the forwarded email text below.

Merry Christmas!

Due to manufacturing delays, the container will not leave China until the middle of January. This means that your first shipment should depart here by the end of February. Because of the delays, we have combined the figures into three shipments. After the first shipment we will run the billing for the second installment. We will not schedule the two installment billings until we have the container in hand. I know you are all anxious to receive the final figures from the Transformers Collectors' Club.

Thanks to the Transformers Collector's Club Facebook, we have an update on the shipping status of the 5.0 figures. The figures are still meant to ship and the club will be fulfilling all the orders placed, even though their time as the official club has ended.

They were also kind enough to share new artwork of Double Pretender Optimus Prime!

We will still be filling TFSS 5.0 orders, selling licensed Transformers Club/Convention product and offering customer service in 2017, however our time as the official Transformers Collectors' Club ends tonight at midnight EST. Thank you all for you support over the last 12 years. Even though we will still be here, let's close this chapter with your first look at the artwork for Double Pretender Optimus Prime!
