PGSM is sorely underrated by SM casuals. Despite its outwardly cheesy appearance, it is surprisingly deep and complex, and gets downright tragic at points. It was also a pretty bold move for it to focus on the idea of the characters letting go of the past and putting the Silver Millennium behind them, instead of how the manga and 90s anime leaned into the whole future destiny with Crystal Tokyo dictating the course of the events the characters would live through.Quantum Surge wrote:Reviving thread to say I saw PGSM! Its pretty cool and may be the only good live-action anime/manga adaptation out there. I also mention that the amount of merch for at least the character of Sailor Moon may be more than the amount I own of Spider-Man (st least the ones I currently have on my shelves representing Peter Parker)
