Bah! Amazon Japan says Powered Greater has been delayed to the end of December. It was originally due in March and then pushed to May (was looking forward to getting it in two weeks), but now it's coming out after Powered Convoy which makes me think they intentionally wanted to make that the first use of the armor instead of on its own. Still sucks.

There's a lot of weird shipping going on over there. Hopefully, we get what we're waiting for soon. I'm expecting Sentinel DaGarn X by the end of the month.

Speaking of Amazon Japan, the last order I got from them arrived last week and was delivered by USPS, not DHL. It actually shipped at the end of April so obviously, it was much slower than usual. Anybody else have an order from AJ ship that way?

I've had DHL packages handed off to USPS rather than them delivering it themselves before. They said my location was "too isolated" (whatever that means) despite delivering several times prior and since. The local DHL distribution center is in Boston so I'm guessing they just didn't want to travel to Maine that day for a delivery. Is it possible that's what happened here?

Dude, I don't believe it. Not only was it shipped by USPS, but it was also shipped from California. I wonder if Amazon JP now has a US-based warehouse.

That could be a HUGE boon for collectors and potential savings in shipping costs. I never understood why Amazon Japan didn't have "outlet" warehouses in the US considering how much Japanese-based pop culture product is sold in the US.

I checked the shipping detail, it was shipped by a company called SF Express, looks like it's Japanese based. Never heard of it before.

Interesting. I do know that the few times I've gotten stuff from China, be it eBay or Wish, they shipped stuff in bulk to the US and then parted it out over here, but it usually took a month for stuff to arrive that way. I'm surprised Amazon would use a similar Chinese shipping method.

Between you and I, the big reason I use Amazon Japan is speed. They get stuff weeks, if not months sooner than say Amazon US, or BBTS. If that's changing then I might have to start looking elsewhere.

Issue with that thread is its not the place to discuss toys the cartoons are fine but even then, a more dedicated thread would better serve the sadly dead franchise.

It's had a sort of a revival, other companies have been making model kits and transforming toys. Bandai is making a SOC King Exkaiser. Sure it's not causing mass hysteria and children aren't being named Yusha but it's better than what it was.
