If this helps to flesh out the MegaForce storyline it could be cool.

I was a bit suprised to read that article, I guess Hasbro don't want to be restricted by Toei's offerings anymore (or more simply, don't want to pay them)

To be perfectly fair, would you see any of these Sentai being adapted?
Ressha Sentai ToQger
Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger
Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger
From what I see, they all have elements that may not translate well or would be too... tame? Rainbow-colored trains, Minecraft ripoff, or cops and robbers? I suppose it's possible, but the deviations made would be too much for some.
Uchuu Sentai Kyuranger I could see being adapted without that many changes (just don't say "Zodiac" because that's only 12/13 out of the 88!)...

Then again, people were saying that Go-Busters wouldn't work as a PR adaptation, yet Allspark Pictures impressively pulled it off in ways that haven't been done since Go-Onger was turned into RPM.

True on all accounts, what's the current super Sentai series? ToQger was the series before what became Dino Charge wasn't it?

Go-Busters was strangely largely similar to RPM, and perhaps unsurprisingly, it has been tied specifically to RPM via the main villain.
ZeroWolf wrote:True on all accounts, what's the current super Sentai series? ToQger was the series before what became Dino Charge wasn't it?
After, actually. Here's the lineup since then:
Ressha Sentai ToQger: skipped, but dubbed in Korea as Power Rangers Train Force
Shuriken Sentai Ninninger: Power Rangers Ninja Steel, dubbed in Korea as Power Rangers Ninja Force
Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger: skipped, dubbed in Korea as Power Rangers Animal Force
Uchuu Sentai Kyuranger: skipped, dubbed in Korea as Power Rangers Galaxy Force
Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger: skipped, even by Korea
Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger: being adapted into Power Rangers Dino Fury, dubbed in Korea as Power Rangers Dino Soul
The current show is Mashin Sentai Kiramager, with magic, jewels and vehicles as motifs.

Thanks now I remember Uchuu Sentai Kyuranger, some people speculated that Toei had made that show to be perfect power ranger fodder, citing all the extra rangers

Supposedly Bandai of America even helped with the toy design of the line. But alas... Power Rangers in Space redux is not in the cards.

I really want the mini-pla releases (not just for sentai but for GaoGaiGar) but the prices are eye watering for someone on a shoestring budget.
Regarding the Future of Power Rangers as a series, if they went animated they could start adapting arcs of the Boom! Comics

The thing about Hasbro not renewing their contract with Toei that doesn't make sense is that Hasbro would still have to do so if they even want to continue marketing MMPR and other past seasons since those still use designs from Zyuranger and onward that are still owned by Toei. When Hasbro bought Power Rangers from Saban, they didn't also buy the rights to Zyuranger from Toei, so Hasbro pretty much has to continue cooperating with Toei if they even still want to market the Zyuranger (and Dairanger in the White Ranger's case) designs in new MMPR merchandise. Hasbro can't go it alone if they want to continue banking on MMPR nostalgia.

That doesn't seem to be the case if this is true. At worst, they just have to periodically re-license the seasons they have already used: Zyuranger through Kyoryuger, Ninninger, and Ryusoulger. At best, their contract was for the perpetual rights in their regions as long as they continue to use the characters, and they just won't borrow any new characters from Toei.

I've only read snippets of the comics and heard summaries. Been meaning to get into them. I'm down for this idea, even just as a side-media like the WFC and Machinima animated series relative to the mainstream TF cartoons.
ZeroWolf wrote:I really want the mini-pla releases (not just for sentai but for GaoGaiGar) but the prices are eye watering for someone on a shoestring budget.
Believe me I hear that. I have paid more than I'm comfortable thinking about for all of this. I don't collect Gundam, but my friends who do say that Minipla are way overpriced for their size and complexity. I've heard this is because they're produced in smaller quantities by a different division from Bandai's Gunpla manufacturers but still...... they get pricey fast. I also got bit by jacked up overseas shipping costs on some pieces because of the pandemic. Only advice I can offer is to look on secondhand sites like Mandarake and Yahoo Japan once shipping routes settle down.
Just to show off, here's more pictures of their articulation and the poses that can be achieved. (this is my de facto "cool" pose for Grand Liner, it's kind of tough to get in good-looking dynamic poses)

Bad news - https://twitter.com/PwrRngrSite/status/1345349423778430977
As first discovered by @MegaPowerBrasil a few months ago we can now confirm -
#PowerRangers is LEAVING Netflix (except MMPR, Ninja Steel, and Beast Morphers) on January 31st/February 1st.
No word if it will move to TubiTV like other Hasbro properties.

Zenkaiger is just so stupid. But I love the voice actors they used.
Fukuen Misato
Kaji Yuki, too much Hyoudou Issei is never bad.
Even Master Megatron from TF Galaxy Force.

I'm Looking forward to Ultraman Trigger in a couple of weeks (July 10th). Tsuburaya Production Co. (TPC), has amazingly been able to simulcast in real time the last 2 Ultraman series on Youtube with English Subs (sadly I missed most of Taiga, but caught all of Z). I've been a fan of Ultraman since watching the original in the early 80's in syndication. I've gotten out of the loop, but always come back, and Mill Creek had been knocking it out of the park for the last 18 months or so with Blu Ray releases.
TPC was in a decades long legal battle with a company from Thailand that falsely/fraudulently claimed to own the international rights tp distribute Ultraman media outside of it's native Japan. Since the courts finally ruled in TPC favor a few years back, we can finally benefit now from this amazing franchise that goes back more than 55 years now.
Just to put that into perspective, Ultra Q, and the original Ultraman aired the same year (but a few months earlier), than the Original Star Trek, and the franchise is still going (even though it had almost a decade of silence in the 80's.)
