Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned, with notification of your Internet Service Provider if deemed required by us. The IP address of all posts are recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that “Seibertron.com Energon Pub Forums” have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should we see fit. As a user you agree to any information you have entered to being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent, neither “Seibertron.com Energon Pub Forums” nor phpBB shall be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.

So, calling people narrow-minded, complainers, etc. is just fine? Seems like that breaks the rules that are laid out. You can see that other users are also having issues with your staff

Isn't that just psuedo modding? We're supposed to just report "narrow minded" people. So they are breaking the rules then.....

I just can't seem to find it in the rules/signup, how do I unlock PM feature?

I cannot send PMs, I checked the rules page and FAQ and none of those reasons apply to me. I am sure it has to do with my account being new, but someone write me back please.

It seems PM features are only available after 5 posts. This really should be added to either the RULES or the FAQ pages, because I'm just over here like WTF?

Such things were considered ... but there's been people over the years who have gone on spamming sprees just to reach certain milestones so restrictions were put in place and not advertised to cut down on such behaviour.

New User Accounts

Newly registered users have restricted accounts until they have posted 10 messages. This includes, but it is not limited to, preventing new users from using the private message system. Initial posts must be approved by administrators.

If you have an issue with Burn take it up with him in a PM. He hasn't worked here in over a year, nor does he make the rules. The post count restriction is to weed out spam so it never gets seen on the forum, it's not a tactic unique to us.
