So now we go through the few hundred images phasewing has and start throwing them into categories? I know a good number are remakes of existing alt models but she has done several new ones. The big question is does phase want to figure all of this out on her own or does the community have any say.

For the images that she's redone to fix the boarders, I imagine they'll simply be swapped but stay where they are.

For the rest of it, I've been keeping an active log of all the new ones she's created. If a time ever came that adding them were possible, they'd already be separated by projected category (land animals, sea creatures, rescue vehicles, etc). When this becomes open to actually start, I can post those lists for community thoughts on adding/removing, because I imagine there is a limit to the number of alts that can be in the system at one time.

I'll run the lists by Phase and see what she thinks, as she was the one who created them, but they are there and organized.

I couldn't tell you the current amount cause I don't keep track, has to of broken above 250.. 300? Maybe. I could sift through my folders with all my new ones, might take a while to get an accurate count..

Are you able to tweak or add alt classes at all? That might affect a few of the suggestions we could make.

Even if not though, this is fantastic news and well deserved recognition for Phasewing (and Mkall and other)'s hard work in creating these!

At a glance? WELL over 100. Land animals, alone, there are about 40 new ones - at least 30 of which are brand new while several are different poses of alts already in the database. Mind you, this number doesn't count the ones that simply had their boarders fixed - there are 114, total, in this category alone. (just to give you an idea)

Tomorrow, I'll go back through them, systematically, and pick out the remakes from the brand new ones, but there are a lot.

EDIT: 616 total, including fixed boarders, remodels, and new ones Thank you for your effort with these, Phase! XD They're awesome!

If Ryan's okay with it we could set up 1 or 2 new classes and add a couple of new alt mode images. Good way to test things.

I'm good with this. If you guys start adding new ones, please shoot me a separate email or something so that I make sure to download them and so that I don't overwrite them. When I make a bunch of changes, I just reupload all of the HMW folders in one go, but usually exclude the images because of how many there are.

This is one of my favorite things that you now have the ability to do. It took me a while to get all of that right!

My biggest regret with this game is that the images are all so small to begin with. I wish they were larger (100 pixels wide or larger) so that I could do more with them. It'd be really awesome to have two versions of each image, something like the "pretty" display version (which could be what the original image was) and the in-game icon which is the smaller one color icon.

Hey Phasewing! You interested in making up some larger icons?

I've shown Wingz the dashboard, between her and I we can start working through and uploading any new images and replacing old ones if you want.

I mean, think about it, at 100x100, an alt mode of - say - a ship from the Honorverse could have the hammerheads and gundecks properly visible whereas at 50x50 it would simply end up looking like a grey hot dog...
