A former prisoner of the Decepticons in the infamous grease pits of Polyhex, TAP-OUT is one of the most durable and effective hand to hand combatants in the AUTOBOT ranks. Extremely agile and physically resilient. Tortured by his tragic past and his harsh treatment at the hands of the DECEPTICONS, TAP-OUT has devoted himself to the protection of all innocent life. Though he covers his internal anguish with cheery and optimistic demeanor, TAP-OUT maintains an almost religious devotion to the individual he protects. Extremely brave, TAP-OUT's tendency to act first and ask questions later borders on recklessness, and often lands him in needlessly dangerous situations.

[ Back To Top ]Profile: A prisoner of the Decepticon army during the height of the Great War, Tap-Out received an unorthodox education in combat from one of the most brutal and gruesome enterprises in Cybertron's history - the infamous grease pits of Polyhex. Captured by the Decepticons during a routine patrol mission, Tap-Out and his platoon were forced to perform as gladitorial combatants against their fellow inmates, all as Decepticon audiences looked on wagered on the prisoner's fates. Unwilling to surrender his unit's saftey under any circumstances, Tap-Out assumed the role of protector for his comrades, frequently voulnteering to do combat in their place. Though Tap-Out and his fellow prisoners were eventually freed by an Autobot strike force, he has never forgotten the dozens of innocent prisonerswho fell by his own hands, nor the echos of Decepticon laughter that rained down upon him as he fought to stay alive. Tap-Out does his best to cover this tragic past with an oddly upbeat and congeal demeanor, one that belies the intense devotion he has towards innocent life.
Abilities: Tap-Out's mechanical feedback circuitry is incredibly fine tuned, giving him astounding reflexes and agility. Armored strike points in Tap-Out's fists and forearms allow him to topple a small building with one blow - a fact not lost on many opponents who have attempted to come between Tap-Out and those he is charged to protect. Though small in stature, Tap-Out's robot form is unusually resilient, and he is capable of absorbing punishment that might irrecovably damage some Autobots twice his size. Aside from his physical durability, however, Tap-Out's most valuable assests are his can do attitude and selfless bravado.
Weaknesses: Though physcially resilient in robot form, Tap-Out's vehicular form is not especuially fast or maneuverable, a weakness he normally avoids by remaining in robot mode whenever and wherever he can. While Tap-Out is extremely brave and will jump at a moment's notice, the obsessive manner in which he appraoches his bodyguard duties frequently causes him to take unnecessary [personal risks. Tap-Out will often jump into a fight fists flying, before fully attempting to understand who or what kind of threat he is dealing with.
