A video review of the upcoming Transformers deluxe Kingdom Shadow Panther has been posted by Chefatron on youtube. Shadow Panther is a redeco of the Kingdom deluxe Cheetor mold with a new headsculpt homaging the mutant head that option that came with the original toy (and Cheetor's). For those unaware, every mold from the original 1996 Beast Wars line, bigger than a basic, had a robot head and a mutant head. While most of the show characters used the robot heads (like Cheetor and Blackarachnia), some used the mutant heads (like Tarantulas and Waspinator). Shadow Panther is part of Kingdom's fourth wave, and will be out in the 4th quarter of 2021. The review is below along with some images of the MP figure, to give you an idea of the toy this looks closest to.

Figures good. Black repaints are an easy win though I'd like to send this fellow a jar of my oldest farts.

He knows why.

In my zeal to get Wreck-Gar as well as Tracks I forgot I ordered two Wreck-Gars so he could ride himself, which means I couldn't cancel my pre-order and will have to sell off one of them whenever Pulse finally delivers them. D'oh!

Dang I knew the SP would have the same Beast head. It isn't as noticeable as I was expecting however, but it still has the "soft kitty" proportions that a cheetah has.
At least it isn't as horrid as the MP.

You still have a chance to cancel your second Wreck-gar, unless Pulse confirmed your preorder but not yet mine (I just checked to see if mine was confirmed). A Junkion is happening anyways so you can just wait for that to get the second bike.

They're on the same order, so I'd be cancelling the entire order. I'm sure I'll be able to get retail back for it, at any rate.

They should have done a new cat face for Shadow Panther. IT looks way too curtsey especially in black.

Assuming you've found one in store, save your receipt. Then when the Pulse ones come in just return it. I do that for Amazon purchases all the time whenever they have a better price but longer wait.

You can cancel individual parts of an order. I cancelled my Cheetor when I saw the Netflix deco and cancelled Tracks after I kinda weighed him out in my head (I'm considering the same for Rhinox).

Image
In the order summary, there's a little tickbox right next to each figure. Once you've selected that, an option should be visible along the bottom that allows you to cancel any selected figures.

Yes, but you can only cancel all or none of any item you bought multiple of (trust me, been there done that already). There is no option to cancel just 1 of the 2 figures if they are the same figures.

Oh sorry, I didn't realise that multiples of the same product were lumped together, I've never ordered duplicates from Pulse. Sorry!

No worries, they have a weird system. I only just learned of that a few months ago. I lucked out and realized while the item I wanted was still available to just make a new single order after cancelling my double.

Yes, I know. I already attempted it. It's Wreck-Gar QTY2. Clicking the box will cancel the entire order of 2. I should have ordered two in separate orders, OR bought two on ebay (he's gone now) - then I could cancel it. OR I can cancel both and wait for him to show up in the store. I have options and time and trust me, I ain't gettin' stuck with three.

Not just that, it looks like they did something to the wrists/forearms to fill in the gaps and the backpack can swivel around now, definitely looking much better than huffer, he was a disaster that couldn't even transform into vehicle mode correctly

It's lucky you've said that before I bought a Huffer, been thinking about it for a while, but am I better off skipping it?

On an unrelated note, I got an e-mail through just now confirming my Rhinox has shipped, but I'm going on a weekend break this Friday so I hope he lands tomorrow so I don't have to chase it up at the post office on Monday morning.

Hmm I haven't opened mine yet, maybe it's time to test that theory...

And yeah Pipes is looking great. I love that shade of blue.

fxfranz on Instagram has uploaded some cool new images of upcoming Transformers toys. There are images of Kingdom Pipes in alt mode and robot mode. The robot mode differs from the artwork shown where the cab does not fold behind his back but looks more like Huffer.
We also have images of a blue Bluestreak toy. This is an homage to the Diaclone Fairlady Z toy rather than his name since his name refers to an expression and not his colour (something many fans often forget).
We are not 100% certain under which line this toy will be released.

If I recall correctly, I couldn't get Huffer's cab to sit at a perfect 90 degree angle to the bed due to the engineering of the chest, but it's only a slight deviation, not something that ruined the toy for me. On balance I think he's a great G1 minibot that fits in right alongside the other WfC guys as well as the Prime Wars era figures. He's not perfect but I would absolutely not call him a disaster. YMMV, tho.

I may be setting my hopes to high, but it seems the Pulse fan event this Friday will definitely be a Kingdom wave 4 reveal, plus whatever else has been/ will be leaked in the next 48 hours ( Road Rage, Bluestrek etc...). I'm kind of excited we haven't seen Slammer yet as he's the only item in wave 4 I really want. Hopefully the next Haslab will be revealed as well, but they may be better off to wait until Galactus is done.

The main reveal I'm hoping for is the Amazon "Golden Disk" range that had listing leaked a while ago, particularly the Terrorsaur we're supposedly getting from that. After Tigatron, Waspinator and this Terrorsaur if it is indeed happening, then that would be me done with Kingdom and ready for the next thing.

Some Golden Disk reveals would be great as well. Though if these are akin to the Galactic Odyssey collection of ER, I believe they were revealed a bit later in the year?

As far as I remember, the second Galactic Odyssey set, Fastlane and Cloudraker, was revealed on the same day as Kingdom wave 1, which was in August, and the Ratchet and Lifeline set was announced shortly before that. So now would be the best time to wheel out the Golden Disk stuff if it is indeed still happening.

THAT'S BLUESTREAK! That's not Diaclone. That is the real Bluestreak straight off the official Hasbro G1 box. The one in the cartoon is Silverstreak. Because I don't really care about the cartoon. There are so many mistakes in the cartoon I can't be bothered with "toon accuracy". That would drive me nuts. 8-}

This is the best news! I have an extra Earthrise Prowl here that I was planning to repaint into blue Bluestreak. Thank God now I don't have to. Now I'll probably make that Prowl into Go-Shooter. I have the Takara Legends Go-Shooter head that came with Wheelie. He needs a body. Or maybe I'll make a custom Nightbeat???

Man, this is AWESOME NEWS!!! :-D

Pipes is awesome too & automatically bought. Only problem is his arms really need to be silver. That's an easy fix.

Trust me, I know how fuzzy memory can be. I did some looking back. the Kingdom Brand (some artwork) was revealed in August 2020, and many wave 1 toys (and names of toys for future waves) were leaked that month as well. But the official reveal of Kingdom wave 1 by Hasbro wasn't until PulseCon on Sept 26, 2020.

However...Also in looking back, yes it appears GO started it's reveals around this time last year. So Golden Disk reveals are not out of the question, it is just perhaps a matter of how much they will fit in. At the end of the day, it always feels like they don't reveal enough.

No doubt they will also lean heavily on the 35th anniversary of TF:TM, though they kind of did all that at the last fan event in the spring, so I cant imagine any more SS86 reveals, at least for this calendar year.

Well I'm impressed with both...
I'd get this Bluestreak and just call the other from Walgreens Silverstreak.

Pipes has had a decent amount of re-tooling done;
Looks like there are difference on the forearms, the tops of the shoulders, the top of the torso (the "fins" to the sides of the head), and obviously the torso itself minus right above the waist.
Other than the cab, the legs and hands look to be identical, but this is nice to see.
And I won't be surprised at all if he does come with two blasters.
But what I like the most is just how different he looks than Huffer. I'm sure most of that is due to the color differences, but still, the headsculpt itself is very distinctive.
Not to mention, these two being in-between the Datsuns and Bee/Cliffjumper adds some good visual variety to the Autobots.

Man, right when I thought the checking account may get a bit of a breather after October...
Although I'm really not complaining, these two look solid.

Love Pipes. He looks great but he needs his red eyes ... though I'm torn about that though since most Autobots have their proper blue eyes, like this toy has. But Pipes oddly had red eyes to keep with his toy. Or did he have blue in some episodes and red in others? Ugh. Funny I remember him having the red eyes, though I see screenshots of him having both so it must be the toy that makes the red eyes more prominent to me.

I'm pretty sure he had Blue eyes the cartoon. small blue eyes rather than a full visor.

There's also the "Puffer" variant of Huffer, which was sold as Pipes in some countries in Latin America and also had red eyes, but had Huffer's body and head.

I often forget, when I see the original seven 1984 Mini Vehicles along side any of their 1986 counterparts, that there was quite a bit of change, they weren't straight up repaints. I just wonder, was all that new tooling originated by Hasbro, or were these more of the toys Takara had intended for use in Micro Change, but were just later repurposed for Transformers?

Red eyes in both episodes he appeared in. Which is understandable, makes them stand out more against his... well, blue.

Pretty sure they were original tooling, like the Conehead wing molds, and not leftovers. The general design team was the same I reckon, just shifted lines.

Plus, little known fact is that the Brawn, Huffer, Gears and Windcharger molds originally weren't first developed for Micro Change like Bumblebee, Cliffjumper, and Bumper were, but were instead originally developed by Knickerbocker Toys for a canceled line called Mysterians.

Yes! I saw a video Chris McFeely did on that a while back, that was pretty fascinating.

Only gripe for Pipes was I wish he had red eyes. Other than that, solid!

Definitely getting Bluestreak for the wrong reasons (Shattered Glass stand-in)

Yup, hence the big M on the front the of the vehicles. It was pretty cool to have Jim Shooter himself talk all about it to me when we were in a bar together once.

Funny I remember him having the red eyes, though I see screenshots of him having both so it must be the toy that makes the red eyes more prominent to me.

I'm pretty sure he had Blue eyes the cartoon. small blue eyes rather than a full visor.

Red eyes in both episodes he appeared in. Which is understandable, makes them stand out more against his... well, blue.

I don't blame em. If you had one place online that kept record of everything your company did for a brand for free, best use it.

Just goes to show how inconsistent AKOM was.

ok, so I just popped in my DVD with FFODpart5 and you are BOTH right. When Pipes leads the Autoboots early on at Autobot HQ against Trypticon, he DOES have Blue eyes. Later when he is installing Metroplex's new Cog he has Red eyes...I'm checking Forever is a long time coming in a minute....

There's a rumored Puffer Pipes right? With the golden disk line or something?

So, how about the no eyes variant...

Lastly, just for grins, I checked the old Rhino DVD's also, because we know how they liked to "fix" things with that version, but nothing was different.... The inconsistencies in eye color were consistent across both releases. Pipes brief appearance in "Forever" had him with Red eyes throughout both his scenes.

How inconsistent the entire show was.

I was really hoping we'd get to Friday with no more leaks, but clearly Chefatron wants his fifteen seconds in the spotlight.

To those mentioning that Pipes has wrist fillers: no he doesn't.
Also his name is Silverstreak, not Bluestreak. They're doing an irony thing by using the backup trademark.
