Thanks to the Transformers Instagram account and Hasbro themselves, we have word that there have been a pair of reveals this Saturday morning, which includes 2 new figures and 2 reissues of older figures you all might not have gotten.
Up first, we have the long suspected Thundercracker and Skywarp from the Earthrise Starscream mold, which are being released in a 2-pack together. They both appear to be straight repaints of Starscream, with no alternate head immediately apparent.
And second, we have another 2-pack which features the Decepticon clones, which were originally released in Titans Return. These 2 clones, which consist of Pounce and Wingspan, appear to use the Takara decos. Whether or not the Autobot clones will be re-released to go with their counterparts is unknown.
These will both be Target exclusives.
Check out the images below, and let us know what you think of them in the comments section below!
Transformers: Generations -- War for Cybertron: Earthrise WFC-E29 Voyager Seeker 2-Pack

Add key Seekers to expand your Seekers army collection! Skywarp and Thundercracker join the Earthrise Seeker lineup in this special Seeker 2-pack! Build the Battlefield Beyond -- The siege is over, but the War for Cybertron has just begun. The Autobots and Decepticons have left Cybertron, but their battle rages on as they speed through space in pursuit of the Allspark. Now, fighters must instantly adapt to battle anywhere in the cosmos. With the advanced A.I.R. (Adaptable Interconnection Retrofitter) Locks system, fighters don’t head to the battlefield -- they become it. Bots capable of converting into Modular Battle Stations can A.I.R.-Lock together in custom configurations to fit the needs of battle. Available at Target.com and in-store 7/3/2020.
Transformers: Generations -- War for Cybertron: Earthrise WFC-E30 Decepticon Clones 2-Pack
(Ages 8 and Up/Approx. Retail Price $24.99/ Available 7/24/2020)
Here comes double the trouble! The Decepticon Clone figures, Pounce and Wingspan, come together in this one exciting pack. Inspired by the classic G1 cartoon, these figures are brothers with twin robot modes, both standing at 3.5 inches. The vicious infiltrator, Decepticon Pounce, converts to puma mode in 9 steps and the driven Decepticon data processor, Wingspan, converts to eagle mode in 7 steps.

Glad to see TC and Skywarp, but I need to see more before I commit to replacing my og Classics mold. What else you got Hasbro?

This however does not make me think we will not be getting the other two coneheads in some form or the other down the line.

I feel like the Coneheads are a given at this point. Probably will follow the established pattern of a single one getting a retail release and the other two some form of an exclusive.Cobotron wrote:This however does not make me think we will not be getting the other two coneheads in some form or the other down the line.

Too many
Ok, out of the Siege mold we have:
Starscream
Thundercracker
Skywarp
Red Wing
Ion Storm
Nova Storm
Acid Storm
7 in total.

Re wingspan and pounce, they're a good addition to any collection but always seem to be at a premium for what are quite small figures.

EXACTLY. With the exception of Universe Hound, the MP tapes, and Henkel Ratchet and Ironhide—I’ve switched out my entire ‘84 collection! Great job, Hasbro!
On the downside, since this is a summer Target release, I probably won’t be seeing these in my area until November. So I guess these guys are gonna cost me about $150 on eBay.

We did, as a TRU exclusive in Canada.
Now as for this seeker listing, I KNEW IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don,t have time to dig up my old post, but yeah we were talking about it and I was really adamant about not assuming it would be the coneheads. To me, having these two was always the more obvious assumption. It would be weird to finally have the mold in the size everyon's been asking for and not doing these.
As for the clones.... BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
This only helps those who didn't get any clone whatsoever in the first place. And even then, that just means they are stuck finding the others on e-bay to complete the set.
Thanks for getting this D-Max, I just logged on to do it and saw it was already taken care of.
Posted by ZeldaTheSwordsman on April 3rd, 2020 @ 1:15pm CDT
Given how the Clones were handled during Titans Return, there's likely a counterpart reissue pack of the Autobot Clones on the way. There had better be, since this pack can't supplement the TR packs.
And not too surprised at Skywarp and Thundercracker being bundled, it's something of a trend (although IMO this line should have opened with Skywarp in the first wave and put Starscream in the two-pack). Glad to see Skywarp bundled with TC rather than, say, Ultra Magnus' cab robot. And glad that they're still getting Skywarp's purple right, not putting too much red in it.

I did it. And it worked out fine. The classic seekers sold in no time at all, for what I bought them or more. Plus, we have more now than we did before and in different molds still keeping a nice aesthetic. If they give us the coneheads, that means I will have a nice collection of 11 good looking seekers in the right size (the classsics just does not scale well).

I'm holding onto the Dirge and Badly Repainted Acid Storm (which I will probably strip again and give another try for reasons) I have, just to lend their weapons to the WFC versions.

Makes them an easy pass for me since i went for the Takara Clones when they came out. I must have those Seekers though.

Pounce's transformation is decidedly less dissimilar than Wingspan's.

Thundercracker and Skywarp are looking quite good, they really nailed their decos. I would have liked a bundle discount like the Rainmakers, but I didn't expect one. At least they aren't overpriced.

I disagree somewhat on the scale. There are a ton of Deluxe Jets that they work very well with. Airelbots, Darkwing and Dreadwind, RTS Lugnut
I am still waiting to find out if we get the Coneheads. If we do, I'm in. As you say, 11 Seekers, 6 Earthbound and 5 Gusrding Cybertron, is more than my Classics Collection.

JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Skywarp has the new head in his standalone image, but the regular one in the one with Thundercracker
That's not even the strangest thing about these images:
Check out their guns impossibly strapped to the bottom of the jets facing backwards. Skywarp's are even black instead of purple which I would greatly prefer. His visible shoulders are also black.
And now the guns are gone and Skywarp's shoulders are purple again.
And here the bar that goes across their chests are black and blue instead of silver like on the individual shots. I kinda like this more.
Edit: Just realized zooming in that the second set of images are actual figures, not 3D renders. Still time for more changes to happen, we've seen that a lot with WfC.
Skritz wrote:Ah well, just keep showing what **** tools we were to even buy a single Siege figure, huh? Myself included.
Speak for yourself. They're both great molds and I don't mind getting all the reasonable repaints they want to make for each.
As for the clones, I might get them if they sell them for Deluxe price one sale. If freaking Walgreens can sell two clones for $18 then Target should be able to sell them for $20, not this nonsense $25 price. If that's what Hasbro thinks two Legends are worth now then I guess we wont be seeing Legends replacing Micromasters any time soon. I guess all future little guys are going to be handled ER Cliffjumper from now on.

We've had a listing for Thrust, and all three show up on Sky Lynx's box... (which is decidedly more hint than we've had of the other Datsuns).
Hardly fools. Here's why:Skritz wrote:Ah well, just keep showing what **** tools we were to even buy a single Siege figure, huh? Myself included.
Also:
1. No sign of Sideswipe getting replaced
2. You do realize Skyfire and Omega Supreme are SIEGE figures, yes?
3. There's no sign of the Rainmakers getting Earth redos (which would be wrong anyway)
4. Ironhide and Ratchet are better than the Universe figures and there's no sign of them getting new toys yet, plus they'd make passable Cybertron Mode versions in the event of "Definitely Earth" versions
5. The SIEGE Battlemasters
6. Is there so much as a whisper of revamps of Chromia, Brunt, Cog, or Six-Gun? No. Those were SIEGE figures too.
7. SIEGE Optimus makes a passable Cybertron Mode version given the constraints caused by the cartoon not bloody giving anybody except Laserbeak a Cybertronian robot mode
8. IMO SIEGE Megatron is better than Earthrise. I have no interest in getting ER Megs unless I find him at a substantial discount. Now, if they gave us a Leader-class "Submarine" Megatron... But no sign of that yet.
9. You know who else isn't getting an Earthrise revamp? Shockwave!

Thrust is coming as an individual release according to TRU’s system.
Theres a listing for a Amazon exclusive “Earth mode 2 pack” that’s also priced around $60. So maybe the other 2 are in there?
Edit: before any one asks. Yes the Earthmode 2 pack and Thundercracker and Skywarp seeker 2 pack are different things. They both have different Hasbro product codes and EAN’s.

However, it's WAY better to sell the two other members of the Seeker trio this way than the bullcrap Amazon exclusive.

"Alternate Universe" Optimus Prime
Earthmode 2-Pack

* I'm starting to wonder if Hubcap will be a MW-based Hoist repaint instead of the Minibot everyone is expecting, since there have yet to be any Selects figures who share/repeat molds with each other and as of what we know right now, Bugbite would have to be a Cliff repaint due to lack of Bumblebee.

Also, just because we haven't seen double-dipping yet doesn't mean that we won't. SELECTS is still a baby line, especially on the Hasbro end.
I hope that that rumored G2 Megatron is pulled from Selects to take the regular version's place at retail, and the regular one scrapped altogether.
Greasepit is probably going to be a redeco and retool of Ironworks based on this:
Although he could instead be a redeco of Sideswipe as the scrapped G2 Go-Bot Greasepit:
