You know you cant choose them right? They are blind bagged. You'd have to get a few and hope that one is Megatron or you could buy him online already revealed.

Will be getting him online, of course. Blind bags are great for kids, but not collectors (as seen at a few of the stores around me, they all have been opened but not stolen). I personally loath the trend, but I guess it’s the new Pokémon cards and baseball cards before that.

They're small though, no different than the KidRobot junk. The Titan Heroes and other scale are truly wastes of plastic

Ditto, they've been in Target and Toys R Us stores at least a week or two. There is a very easy way to find out which figure is in the pouch: feel the shape of the figure through the pouch.

I tried, and it's only sucessful 50% of the time

This is why morning toy hunting is bad, should have noticed that! The case they had sitting there had 22 bags (in other words, 2 had sold or peaced out onto another part of the shelves) but I figured if I just bought them all there was no way I wouldn't get all 12. Nope. The two missing bags were both Jazz, but at least now I know a good way to look for just him next time I see these!

I just hope the next two-headed bot isn't called "Twin-"something. Looking at you Doubleheader.

Poor guy. My guess now is that Grotusque will end up being Autobot Bill.

I could definitely go for that. Doublecross in particular is one of those G1 characters whose toy I don't have but am a really big fan of aesthetically.

2) I like that we get to see Filch's robot mode clearly from this card. However, it makes me only want her as a Warrior-class toy even more.
3) Repugnus and "Twinferno" being included in here has me truly hopeful that this is foreshadowing a future Deluxe-scale or larger appearance for these figures in the Generations line.
4) God, these are ugly.
5) Springload is such an awesome and unique idea for a Transformer that I cannot fathom why he doesn't have a Warrior-class toy in the works. But, then again, I keep saying that about pretty much all of the Decepticons from RID15.

Repugnus and Grotusque are easily trademarked since they aren't real words and Hasbro made them up. Doublecross (and Doubleheader) is a little trickier being a common word.

I think there will be other ways. Same for Filch and the shark (really want a warrior of that toy!).

Unless you're referring to more nontransformable toys for Octopunch, I sincerely doubt any of Hasbro's assortments of transformable RID toys would be able to feasibly make a transforming Octopunch toy that both looked good and did the character design justice, considering how unorthodox Octopunch's design is:william-james88 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:If this is the only way for Octopunch to get a toy, then so be it.

It does look like him. I can make out four tentacles as feet and two as arms like Octopunch has.ScottyP wrote:Octopunch is my speculation that I sent to news crew for the thing in the lower left and not confirmed. RiD 2015 Octopunch is the only thing I could think of that remotely looks like that.

Given his speech patterns, I'd say Octopunch is VERY Orthodox. Hey-o!

But I thought the same thing about Springload and the crab and they got transforming toys.
Posted by Sabrblade on December 22nd, 2015 @ 11:35pm CST
Springload's toy got his altmode wrong and cheated on his hind legs, and Clampdown's toy doesn't have actual claws.william-james88 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Unless you're referring to more nontransformable toys for Octopunch, I sincerely doubt any of Hasbro's assortments of transformable RID toys would be able to feasibly make a transforming Octopunch toy that both looked good and did the character design justice

Not to mention that, unlike Octopunch, those two don't have gooey stretchy bodies, so they're more doable.
Notice the final sentence in my post that reads "and did the character design justice".

This wave consists of: Sky-Byte, Acid Storm, Beast Machines Cheetor, Minitron, Blurr, Alpha Trion/Thundertron/??, RID Optimus Prime with G1 Prime's gun, Unicron, G1 Grimlock, Crazybolt, Barrage and RID Bumblebee.
Barrage is a particular deep cut. Notice how I am completely unsure of the bearded one with the blue cape. It could be one of the Primes revealed in this season of Robots in Disguise (Alpha Trion?). If you have an idea of who that is, or if we made a mistake on any of these, please let us know in the comments.
