Transformers Tiny Titans Blind-Bagged Characters

Started new thread due to not being exclusively RID characters.

Shockwave AND BW Megs?! Ffffffffmight have to get those...

Now will people please understand that the Wave 1 Cliffjumper and Prowl aren't RID characters?

Wave 2 has already proven that with Ultra Magnus, Topspin, Superion, Starscream, Soundwave, Sharkticon, Cyclonus, Ratchet and above all, a G1-styled Bumblebee.

So are these basically the spiritual successors of Robot Heroes?

Also, was there a Starscream that was shown? Haven't really kept up with these, but if there's a Starscream in the works, I'll totally get it as like a car ornament or something.

They're kinda the successor to Robot Heroes, but are even smaller, less detailed, and lack a lot of paint.

As for Starscream, there's a G1 Starscream in Wave 2.

The line, adding to the confusion as to what line it is meant to include and represent, appears to consist of RID, G1, Beast Wars and more: RID Drift, G1 Wheeljack, BW Megatron, RID Springload, G1 Optimus Prime, G1 Shockwave, RID Fixit, G1 Repugnus, maybe RID Filch, G1 Wreck-Gar, G1 Doublecross, RID Fracture. Make of that what you will, and check out the images mirrored below!

Huh. If the paint wasn't so crap, I might want some. Then again, I've got Trash Pack stuff, so I might just like these anyway.

And Grotusque misses the boat. I want a remake of Grotusque more than most characters. Him and Torca.

You know you cant choose them right? They are blind bagged. You'd have to get a few and hope that one is Megatron or you could buy him online already revealed.

Will be getting him online, of course. Blind bags are great for kids, but not collectors (as seen at a few of the stores around me, they all have been opened but not stolen). I personally loath the trend, but I guess it’s the new Pokémon cards and baseball cards before that.

There is a tiny, rectangular apx. 8x3mm clear window on the back of the pack. If you get one and refer to the checklist card that comes with it, you can utilize this window and some pack-mangling to figure out what's inside.

Yup, found these last week at my Super•Target in Nashville.

Ditto, they've been in Target and Toys R Us stores at least a week or two. There is a very easy way to find out which figure is in the pouch: feel the shape of the figure through the pouch.

Depends on which ones you're looking for... some are so fat they can't make it to the window, or they share the same colours

This is why morning toy hunting is bad, should have noticed that! The case they had sitting there had 22 bags (in other words, 2 had sold or peaced out onto another part of the shelves) but I figured if I just bought them all there was no way I wouldn't get all 12. Nope. The two missing bags were both Jazz, but at least now I know a good way to look for just him next time I see these!

I hate blind bags, its one thing if you have people to trade with but when its just you getting doubles & triples suck. If there was a way to ID these guys 100% id pick a few up but since theres not i have to pass.

They're super cheap on Ebay, and you can pick which ones you want

I wonder how Unicron will look. Maybe Hasbro will make him the size of a golfball or a bowling ball so that they all are up to scale.

I could definitely go for that. Doublecross in particular is one of those G1 characters whose toy I don't have but am a really big fan of aesthetically.

id pick up doublecross & repugnus but im not going to be buying pack after pack hoping to get the 2 that i want. I really hate blind packs.

1) I don't care how cheap these are, they look terrible.
2) I like that we get to see Filch's robot mode clearly from this card. However, it makes me only want her as a Warrior-class toy even more.
3) Repugnus and "Twinferno" being included in here has me truly hopeful that this is foreshadowing a future Deluxe-scale or larger appearance for these figures in the Generations line.
4) God, these are ugly.
5) Springload is such an awesome and unique idea for a Transformer that I cannot fathom why he doesn't have a Warrior-class toy in the works. But, then again, I keep saying that about pretty much all of the Decepticons from RID15.

Repugnus and Grotusque are easily trademarked since they aren't real words and Hasbro made them up. Doublecross (and Doubleheader) is a little trickier being a common word.

Card art is awesome. I really like it. The actual tiny Titans? Man, no. That's a waste of money for me. They kinda look worse than wave one. Wave one was ok.

i kind of like the cards better than the figures and we finally know what filches robot mode looks like. i hope a lot of these designs actually end up in show except beast wars megatron for obvious reasons
