The truck mode really conveys the "being feared by all factions" part.
His robot mode is very intimidating.
The truck bed has kiblle but it's not a deal breaker.

Thank you! I went through like 3 different shades of orange before settling on that one, I initially used more red mixed in!
Scourge looks kinda neat, but I think I'd like to wait till I see the movie to decide if I want to pick it up or not.

But his legs are still disproportionate to his upper body. If what you say is the case, his upper body would be more streamlined at least.Sabrblade wrote:Maybe when we finally get a good look at his onscreen CG model, Scourge might turn out to be a rather agile individual, using attacks based more on speed and precision rather than brute strength, which might justify his lean appearance.

The claw-left-forearm is the one part that bugs me, since it's right on the boundary between menacing and goofy, like Therizinosaurus claws.
Terrifying at first glance, but how much damage could they dish out without hurting their own hands? Did they just use them like giant sloths?
But the mega-buster arm looks cooler than ever, so I'll have that attached most of the time.

I never understood those complaints about proportions. They're alien robots, humanoid proportions are not necessary, in fact, playing around with them makes the bots more interesting.

I think I saw a pic where the kibble comes off. Regardless, I think it's neat that the kibble is deliberate to make it actually look closer to this pic from a while ago, with the junk on the bed.

It's way better than whatever SS Galvatron had for sure.

We like what we like, don't see why we should have to justify our own opinions. Not like those of us who don't like the legs are asking those who do like the legs to validate their opinions are we?

I actually kinda dig Freezer, might pick him up since he'd fit in well with my Bayverse Decepticons.

I haven't asked anyone to validate or justify anything, people are welcome to their opinions and it's my opinion that it's a silly thing to get worked up about after seven movies. My asking about Bonecrusher is simply me wondering if this opinion is strictly held against Scourge or if they feel that way about all oddly proportioned bot.

Bonecrusher looks like some sort of alien insect so he can get away with his odd proportions. Scourge have a human-like shape. An evil knight in armor. But he does look like he skipped legs day. Still, he still looks good and menacing.
I have this opinion because the God Boomshakalaka whispered it into my ear. My opinion is divine-based so is always justified. Those who can't justify their opinion like this should know their peon place.

I'm going to be collecting all of the Beast Battlemasters. Titans Return Krok needs a Gatoraider, and for absurdity, if nothing else, Rhinox needs a tiny version of himself that turns into a BFG.

I actually kinda dig Freezer, might pick him up since he'd fit in well with my Bayverse Decepticons.
That is fantastic! Best weapon mode (short of G1 Megatron) I've ever seen in a toy. Agree with others that said this should be a multiple purchase.

We have way, *way* more than enough big, blocky guys. Nice to shake it up a bit.
Maybe it's just because he reminds me of some beloved Bionicle figures.

I'm kinda curious how that would look with your Hot Rod head on it. Definitely getting Hot Rod vibes from it.

With the gunmetal base and the bright accent colors, he does! Just right now I can't seem to remove Hot Rod's head safely, but if I do get it off I'll give it a try!

Ratchet is the only thing on this list I'm definitely buying, it's just a damn shame that I have to wait another ten months for him. I'm still undecided on whether or not to get any of the Rise of the Beasts toys, my downsized Studio Series collection is mostly focused on the 2007 movie with a little bit of Dark of the Moon, so as much as I like Voyager Cheetor I don't know as of yet if there's really a place for him anywhere in my collection as I'm planning it now.

Love the highlights, and the way they show up in robot mode but are hidden in altmode.

Let’s see, the ones that interest me are Snarl (I love stegosauruses) and perhaps Nightbird, but only IF she’s
A) less kibbly than the ROTB line’s
B) is more screen accurate
AND C) I actually like the movie

I read Frenzy on those listings and I got excited, then I realized it was an SS86 figure. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad we're getting a red Rumble in the new, improved cassette man mold, but what I really want is a new 2007 Frenzy.

The exact same thing happened to me, I was really hoping that Freezer was a pre-tool for 07 Frenzy.

Yeah, I'm not sure why they decided to introduce WFC during a movie year. Buzzworthy is at least helping out with the recent NEST figures and Optimus reissue (and hopefully we hear more about Hatchet soon), but yeah, it's kinda lame that the Bay movies are getting neglected this year.
