Also in from DaimChoc Reports on Facebook this morning is the newly posted chapter in the stop-motion Transformers War for Cybertron Siege series, this time picking up where the last battle left off with Cog having fallen to pieces and Optimus Prime squaring off against Megatron one on one. Maybe not quite a fair fight as Megatron is wielding the Air Strike Patrol in their combined Spyblade form. Enjoy the view and post your thoughts in the forum. I'm so confused by Prime's victory pose there  Like, it didn't look like he defeated Megatron unless I missed something???7

I think it's more along the lines of Optimus Prime calling Megatron out, goading him to go fist to fist. There was no victory message or declaration, so I'm assuming this is "to be continued."

This may not seem so odd in other places but at a local Target they had 5 of the Micromaster 10 pak sitting on the shelf. While for some this may not seem odd, it does in my AO. Also, just could be that stores are just receiving stock of this set. Definitely gives those a better chance of picking them up.

Skyfire is awesome, but I'm a little disappointed that the burst effects are made of soft plastic/rubber.. especially since one of the long flame effects is a little crooked. Anyone know how to fix it? (From experience.)

Also, this is my first and only SIEGE effect pack, are they all made of this material?

(This line rules BTW.)

Yep, all the effects use the same rubbery material.

For anyone looking to get the regular release of Mirage and Impactor, Amazon's pre-order says they will be released September 1st.

I'm hoping this is like Thundercracker where Amazon had the earliest release. I've got Mirage on pre-order already and am passing on Impactor for the one in the fan vote set. However, if they are in fact getting those 2 on September 1st, I would presume they may also have Barricade since he is in the same wave.

Always beware of what you try but a hairdryer or warm water would probably be enough to soften it to where you could hold it straight and let it cool. They’re all like that but fortunately all the ones I have are straight they did a pretty good job with them I think. Best QC in ages.

We've probably seen all the new molds there will be for "Siege" through December. All of these repaints are just bonuses for anyone who wants them. Any new molds revealed going forward are almost certainly going to be part of the second act of the "War for Cybertron Trilogy."

I don't even see what the problem is. There aren't many of what I would call "inappropriate" remolds in this line. The closest thing to it would probably be Hot Shot and Nightbird, and those are both welcome to me.

Unique Molds between Deluxe and Titan - at least 16 on first blush. I'm probably leaving something out.

G2 sideswipe really needs some heavier weapons. I love the paint job, and it is my favorite of the 3, but dang he needs some G2esque guns!

Yeah, I keep waffling on whether I want to get that pack. G2 Sideswipe is cool and all that, but he has to be a different character on my shelf.

The one packed with Legends Windblade would be ideal, but I never got them so I'll simply give him Blurr's Targetmaster from Legends Twinferno/Doublecross.

I don't have a Windblade, and probably want one, but I still think 60+ for essentially a Pinpointer is a bit much. Much more likely to get the Firestormers.

It's all mass, not height. Besides, Astrotrain's is measured from the top of his head, while Spinister's is measured from the top of rotor, well above his head. The former is bulkier too, but could still be considered a Voyager with add-ons.

Siege is about scale. Astrotrain is not bigger than megatron so anyone hoping for a larger base figure was setting themselves up for dissapointment. Plus, I dont want my astrotrain leader sized, it makes no sense. If you don't like the approach you can always wait for a sale (as I will) or not buy it.

Thanks to fellow Seibertronian TFanPage101 we've learned of a new post to Snakas.blog, this time showing the Transformers War for Cybertron Siege Refraktor Reconnaissance Team with Spectro, Spyglass, and Viewfinder. The set also includes the fireblast effect sidekick character Kremzeek. Unlike the main release which has fans assembling three identical Refraktors (or Reflectors) as they appeared in the cartoon, this set has three individual Refraktors, each repainted and armed with unique accessories that makes them look much more like their G1 toy counterparts. The additional accessories also add to the camera mode making a more realistic looking camera. Also included are images of the packaging with insert art that was previously noted as 'leaking' this sets additional accessories. The set is currently expected in October 2019 and is available for pre-order at Entertainment Earth for $69.99, Big Bad Toy Store for $71.99, and the Chosen Prime for $71.99. Enjoy the images and stay tuned to Seibertron for the ultimate in Transformers news.
