That is Wave 1. I think they got confused with the larger Titan Guardians, which has Steeljaw, Optimus Prime and Bumblebee. Either that, or they consider the AoE ones Wave 1 (which still had 2 Waves).

One Step Optimus
This isn’t just a one-step changer, it’s a huge one-step changer. Standing at over 11 inches tall, this Optimus Prime figure converts from robot to truck mode and back again, in one motion. The transformation is simple; just pull the trailer apart to go from vehicle to robot, then push the chest and swing the cab down to convert back.
As Sabrblade pointed out, this seems to be the figure from this listing:
TRANSFORMERS RID NERF MEGA 1-STEP OPTIMUS PRIME
But my big question is, is this just a biger version of the Hyperchange version? Because the mold looks the same, especially the truck mode.

Nope. If you at them side by side, you'll notice that the shoulders and wheels are different, the cab is more streamlines and the back of the trailer is different.

Ok, looking at them side by side, and while the cab is different, the back is the very same. It looks like the same mold but retooled and redeco'd.

Nah, I'd say it's an all-new toy, but taking design cues from the Three-Step.

Based on a real name? Easy pun? Corpyright shortcut?
Anyway, why not? Dare I say, why not.

I'm going for easy pun, since Thunderhoof is a deer, not a pony.

Actually, Chief Thunderhooves is a buffalo, setting the two even further out of sync.

You should. Awesome show is awesome. (The 2010 reboot, obviously.)
Now, let's get back to topic before someone get Burn'd.

Also, for the RID show, the Minicons will get a comeback. There was a version of Drift on show, which futures a shooting mechanism for the Minicons. Looks a lot like the Warrior class but is called deployers.

I feel we all think the same way.
These shows are made to sell toys and I will glady obey, I am sold on this guy, so make the damn toy!
But hey, we are getting two more warrior decepticons, which is a good sign.

I'm sad at how few of these beast-bots are getting non-1-step releases. Although I'm kinda pleased most of those are in the Legion class, I tend to like those better than Deluxes. Cheaper, too.
Lot of Autobot repaints, though.
I hope Windblade is actually Windblade and not yet another instance of a name associated with a female character being tossed onto some generic male bot...

But anyway i wonder if windblade is going to be in the show or if they're just putting her in the RiD line cause generations no longer has a legion class. Also wouldnt be surprised at all if megatronus is a resurrected megatron, just like optimus he just cant stay dead.
But it has a Legends class, It could have gone there if it was totally unrelated.

What if this is a pretender to the throne? A la Beast Wars Megatron?

Then we'd have three Megatronuses in this universe.Flashwave wrote:Megatron Wolf wrote:Also wouldnt be surprised at all if megatronus is a resurrected megatron, just like optimus he just cant stay dead.

I am actually hoping it's he Fallen, especially wieh it's this continuity that tried to expand the most on the idea of the 13 (for better or worst)

The commercial features Hyperchange Bumblebee, who's gallery can be seen here, and One Step Steeljaw, who will soon be released.
EDIT: The channel has also uploaded an English dubbed version of the same clip, which we've mirrored below.

Then again it would probably mean that there would be a lack of characters like Prime was which was the biggest flaw of the show in my opinion.

Drift is a fantastic figure and probably the best RID figure released thus far. One thing that impressed me right away was the swords being made of a solid, stiff plastic; after all these years it's nice to have melee weapons that aren't bent right out of the package! Something that you may not be expecting is an added horizontal wrist joint that allows for some more dynamic sword poses, while it's nice I would have preferred a vertical joint for better sword pointing. All in all this is a better figure than Prime and I would recommend picking it up first.
