Professor Smooth wrote:Awesome mosaic. Great story. Amazing art. Fits into an established continuity. But then you've got that last panel. "My friends gave their life..." It's one page long. Is that really too much to proofread before sending it out to however many thousands of people are going to read it?
Hey, long time no see
And grammatically that sentence is correct by the way. Each friend only has one life, and the plural is already established with "friends" and "their". Plus, "their life" counts as one part of a sentence, and is plural in number because of "their".
Bah, I need to explain things in a less complicated manner...

Seconded, it's grammatically correct.

This mosaic covers the "human" side of Transformers better than any I've read in a very long time. I'm highly impressed. Good job guys!

There's quite a few books with grammatically incorrect titles, then:

English is not my first language though, just wondering.

It's wrong. If my friends and I all have one cat that we share ownership of, and we trade it for a dog, we have given up our cat. If we all trade our own cats for our own dogs, we have given up our cats. As Guzzle's friends do not all share one life, they have given up their lives.
