Toy Fair, the largest toy trade show in the entire western hemisphere, is underway in New York, and Hasbro just announced some pretty awesome new additions to the Transformers: War for Cybertron line to coincide with the upcoming War for Cybertron animated series Arc 2: Earthrise coming to Netflix later this year.
Check out the new figures in the slideshow below:

If you're not familiar with the War for Cybertron line, they're the Transformers you know and love in their Cybertronian incarnations. The figures have great paint and sculpting, and while transformations are more complicated than the G1 figures you might be used to, the end results are much more detailed.
Toy Fair is currently underway in New York City with NERF announcing a partnership with the upcoming Halo Infinite for replica Halo NERF blasters coming later this year.

Arcee, Fasttrack, Sky Lynx, and Scorponok!
Hey Sabr are you able to pull the images out of the article? Seems like they’re locked.

Fasttrack looks awesome! Also great to see him made, as now Slammer is the only Titan companion with no toy (yet).
Scorponok's robot mode looks alright but the base mode is lacking and the tail on the scorpion mode is feeble.
Sky Lynx looks pretty nice in general. Not a big Sky Lynx fan but he does look good.

I'm digging her head/face sculpt, looks better than the T30 to me.
EDIT: I'm starting to think Arcee's hoverboard doesn't integrate into bot mode

He is, the RiD type to be exact:
WFC-E35 Decepticon Fasttrack bot mode also changes into a "staff that can be held by Titan Class figures."

Also,if they had to call Arcee's hoverboard,a "hoverboard",they could at least make it change shape into something more distinct from the car mode.

I can already see a peg on what looks to be a rotating joint, could yet be used as a shield

Considering shields/ramps are this lines gimmick, I'd be shocked if it cannot be used as a shield. I'm just hoping it can be pegged into the backpack. I'm starting to suspect it cannot.Hellscream9999 wrote:I can already see a peg on what looks to be a rotating joint, could yet be used as a shieldDecepticon Stryker wrote:These are good. Fasttrack and Sky Lynx look good, definite buys.
Scorp will also be a definite buy (I have all the other titans, so I'm not breaking ranks now), but I am a little disappointed by a few items. It looks like there are only 2 ramp connection points, I was hoping they might throw us a bone and include at least one TR type ramp connector so you could connect him to Trypticon. Let's Hope Hasbro is smart and makes a battle master that has a TR and WFC connector.
The other thing about Scorp that is bugging me is the scale in the base mode photo. I'm really hoping that was either a weird angle or some mixing and matching of digital renders that weren't in scale with each other, because he looks pretty small as compared to the deluxes in that render.

Well I see a peg hole at the base of her backpack, likely it can peg back into her backpack - it'll just be really long

There has been a LOT of thought and care and craft put into this line, and I'd love to send a personal thanks to the Hasbro and Takara teams.
Regarding Arcee, I'd wager the hoverboard can be left on her back as well. Knowing it's impossible to pull off what you get in the TFTM movie without some kind of compromise—because of, well, physics—this is a really great design that looks truly fantastic in both modes.

Fast track big yes.
Skylynx big yes.
Scorponok... I kind of expect titan classes to need hasbro employee.. Erm.. Third party upgrades, but even with upgrades it will have some awful flaws still.
Robot mode: really needs the chrome bits to beef his legs up
No double guns on his rear shoulders. No gun. The ankle hollows... Egads.
Scopion: laziest scorpion feet ever? Doesn't look like the feet separate or have articulation let alone the old movement gimmick. Lack of double guns to go rear. Mandibles look bad.
Base mode: lack of orange parts/lifts/missile flaps and plug in dishes etc.
Still a buy as Fort max needs him the same size but really dissapointing and hope we get some other options from other company's as every other Scorponok seems to have more about them than this. I do like Zarak but it needs paint.

IMO, Arcee is a disappointment, but an expected one. But she manages to disappoint in ways I wasn't expecting, too. The back of the car doesn't do much, it (mostly) just detaches and sits there. Her chest is also fake, meaning she has absolutely no alt-mode integration outside of maybe her forearms and feet. At least she looks better than the MP, and has heel spurs.
Scorponok and Fasttrack look good, but those Scorponok pictures show some... very conflicting color schemes.
Sky Lynx looks absolutely incredible. All the features he should have, an actually good base mode, cool looking. His shuttle mode is even named Magnificence, and he has NASA logos, and those are the kinds of little details that I love to see. Absolutely nailed Sky Lynx.

I'm pretty sure Will is actually incorrect on this.
Yes, turns out I am wrong. I found the release date and description from an entertinament site quoting Hasbro:
https://geektyrant.com/news/here-are-al ... ro-at-nyccWar for Cybertron: Earthrise is a new line of figures from Hasbro and will be launching March 1, 2020. In this line, you’ll see Battle Masters, Micromasters, Deluxe, Voyager and Leader figures. The first Battle Master figure will be Soundbarrier who will be 1.5 inches tall and run for $5.99. Next, let’s move to the Micromasters where there’s a Hot Rod Patrol 2-pack that will include Daddy-O and Trip-Up. There’s also the Military Patrol 2-pack with Bombshock and Growl. Both of these 2-packs will cost $9.99. Third, the Deluxe figures. These stand at 5.5 inches and will cost $19.99. The Deluxe figures include Hoist, Cliffjumper, Wheeljack, and Ironworks. Fourth, we have the Voyager figures that include Starscream and Grapple. These will be 7-inch figures running $29.99. Finally, we have our first Leader figure: Optimus Prime. For $49.99, fans will get a 7-inch figure of the Autobot leader.
Anyways, all these new toys look good. Will probably get Arcee, always curious as to how they pull off that design.

With Fasttrack being issued separately, we are pretty close to complete. Hoping they can include some of his accessories with other characters like they have done with other characters. (Megatron part with Soundwave for example.)

Missed that about the sky Lynx shuttle name! That's awesome.

I think gothsaurus means the extra pistol Soundwave came with. It makes a good shoulder cannon for Megs if you mount it on his back.

Most importantly, I'm praying they have done what's necessary to have Scorponok match Fort Max height exactly. Accessories and little buddies and bits... we can that deal with later.
Posted by frogbat on February 20th, 2020 @ 2:29pm CST
And Skorponok looks great, hope he's big enough to give fortress tough opposition (Have a feeling he will be similar in size to omega). Hope the ankles are sturdy too.
One pet peeve from the original toy i was hoping would be corrected are his shoulder mounted turrets. They were always depicted as being able to move up and down. Alas they still appear to be just flat guns. The original also had four of them. Im sure 3p accessory makers will have a few upgrade kits for him as he seems to be missing his orange gun too...

I was happy with Arcee for a hot second until I noticed the entire back half of her vehicle is a stand. Oh, "hoverboard", sorry. It reminds me of a KO of Gen Arcee where the entire back half comes off to make a better robot mode. The bot mode looks nicer than Legends, but overall it's kinda worse, ain't it? But I may get it anyway. Since I'm stupid like that. And it'll make Arcee look different than Nightbird and Lifeline, which is a plus. But I've made a promise with myself not to get TFs I don't really like anymore and this just might fall into that category. I wish they had made this version a Headmaster. At least then it would bring something new to the table - a Headmaster G1 styles Arcee.

We haven't seen Scorponok blast effect pieces yet but I'd rather his shoulder guns be correct than have the effect parts. I think this is probably the worst out of all the titans but its likely due to me wanting it the most out of them all and having the highest hopes.
Posted by Flashwave on February 20th, 2020 @ 2:38pm CST
I am warming up quickly to Scorponok but he isnt an immediate must have like OS was.
Sky Lynx, they really stuck the landing. I will need that ASAP.
Surprised to see Fasttrack was not a Cog style weaponizer. I could see them pulling a Roller out of that if they wanted to. I kinda hope they don't though.

I'll just put the cockpit part of Arcee to the side. I like that they tried with a gimmick to make all of her useful, but I'm good - that means between this and Masterpiece I might be getting two Arcee figures this year. Fasttrack looks so good, I might even want Skorponok. Also, love the 'sized-up' Headmaster on Skorpy...probably won't be getting it, unfortunately. Sky Lynx, though. Definitely a get. No question.

Wasn't G1 styled. And it's a pink Blurr. Blurr makes for a decent enough Arcee, but it's still just Blurr.

An you know what they say about having high hopes I quite like the look of Scorpy, if I had the space for Titan Class, he'd be one that I'd get.
