Were you worried there wouldn't be enough humour in Transformers: Age of Extinction? Now you can check for yourself (and still feel worried, for that matter, but for different reasons) thanks to yet another trailer, courtesy of CBM Trailers! We get to hear more of Hound, and finally some of Crosshairs too - along with a little dancing and what looks like alien facehugger meets Doom aboard Lockdown's ship.

Oh, wow. Not really funny. Maybe the lines work better in the movie. The dancing? I figured there had to be some parts of the film that totally sucked. Hopefully it's a very short scene. At least John Goodman/Hound gets more than 3 lines.

And then Blaster jumps out and transforms... That's what's being held back for the movie. Clever Bay, clever homaging G1 like that.

Meh, nothing horrible, I'll still see it.

Blaster would be cool. Especially if he was actually a ghetto blaster. They did it with Frenzy, almost. That would mean Blaster himself would have to be a Minibot.

And another trail-- oh, no, it's actually a featurette on Mark Wahlberg's character in Transformers: Age of Extinction: single, stay-at-home, hopeful inventor, mechanic Cade Yeager, courtesy once again of CBM Trailers. Check out some old footage with some behind the scenes shots in the embedded clip below.

Seemingly Lockdown delivers his "you were built" line at the scene where Prime was fighting Galvatron. It is obvious that Lockdown is addressing Galvatron ('built' by humans). So we can do away with all this 'origins of the transformers' Quintessons speculation.

bee is being faithful to itself: childish, boring and stupid...

Crosshairs' line (you gotta be kidding me) fits well !!

at least Hound seems to get more deveoloppement than Sideswipe, Que or Jolt...

Honestly, the dancing bit is the least offensive "humor" thing these films have done thus far. It's no worse than any of the party scenes that were had by the Autobots in TF: Prime.

Why Bay is giving you what you want

No toilet humor

there is still going to be humor but now you guys want none?

You must all be more depressed then me and i'm one of the most depressed people you would ever meet and i still find the scenes funny and i'm going to see it.

You guys will never be satisfied i hope you guys grow up and start looking for less seriousness it will kill you and that's not a joke either.

I think I can handle a bit of humor in the midst of the enormous amount death that will be in this film. Perhaps this scene comes after Rachet gets murdered. You know, to lighten up the mood a bit.

dancing robots were stupid in G1 & they still are, it does nothing but throw off the pacing of the movie. Hound being a smartass i dont mind to much cause every group has one but if every word out of his mouth is some remark like those then that would suck. Still no intention of seeing this in the theater but i might check it out when its on hbo or netflix, that way if it sucks like the previous 3 i can just turn it off or fast forward & not have wasted money.

Hmmm...wasn't the era that Lio Convoy was active in the same area that Primal's crew came from in Beast Wars? Meaning we could assume that Beast Machines (or rather Beast Wars Returns) happens after II and Neo? I mean Primal's crew did go through time to get back to Cybertron, maybe Megatron landed after the events of Beast Wars Neo. Or am I missing specified info on the time frame of these shows? I'm never sure if it's confirmed if II and neo are the same time that Primal's crew comes from. I don't even remember if I assumed that or if I read it somewhere years ago.

Don't worry, once we see the film and realise the trailer was mis-leading and Lockdown is actually talking to Galvatron (or even the Yeager family's lawnmower) it'll all fall apart. :michaelbay:

As for the Dancing trailer-I like it. Grumblebums be darned :D

Dang. So much criticism over sentient robots dancing like human beings. Yeah, I think the dancing is silly. I didn't like it in Transformers Prime. But everyone needs some time to goof off and relax. Why wouldn't Autobots? It only makes them more human which in turn gives them more character.

One day before the world premiere of Transformers 4: Age of Extinction, Paramount Pictures Senior Vice President Edward Ryan promises Transformers 5 in 2016 at the TF4 Screening during CineEurope 2014 Barcelona.

According to The Hollywood reporterTransformers 5 is not the only movie that was promised for 2016. Other movies that Ryan promised is Paranormal Activity 5, a new take on Ben Hur directed by Timur Bekmambetov, the return of Eddie Murphy for Beverly Hills Cop, GI Joe 3, Hansel and Gretel 2 and Star Trek 3.
Ryan also predicts that transformers 4 will be the biggest movie of the season!

in a roundabout way, yes, the BM Oracle is Primus. As far as the cartoon is concerned, the Oracle is Vector Sigma with an external user entry on it. The 3h convention comics go on to source the Oracle Shell as a product of the Quintessons, and at the end of the comic Primus thanks the Quintessons for helping to evolve his children. But how much stock should be put into the Convention comic is kinda vague.

Do you mind elaborating, I am kind of lost. I only watched BW and BM as far as G1 continuity (as well as a handful of classic TF episodes and the 80s movie of course).
What is Vector Sigma in BM? And is it the same vector sigma in the original TF cartoon? And what do you mean by external user entry?

I have found this, which is a detailed plot summary giving us an idea of what to expect. It answers several questions we have been discussing (origin of dinobots and link to Dinosaurs). It is obviously full of spoilers so anyone who wants to wait to watch the film, please do not click on this link.

HAAAAAAAAA

Its fake dude especially since you got it off the same website a guy said his friend saw a trailers and gave a description of it

So who dies?

no mention of the other guys? Ratchet being in the film debunks that.

"A FRIEND of Cosmic Book News managed to see rough cut of Transformers: Age of Extinction." Haha, sure thing. It's always a "friend" isn't it? :L
The guy barely talks about anything new.
Lockdown working with Attinger to eliminate all Transformers doesn't really fit at all with what we've heard so far. "Lockdown's just a bounty hunter, he's here for one person, one alien and then he's out of here".
Dinobots only in the last 15-20 mins of the movie? That sounds like an extremely short final battle.
No mention of who Lockdown is working for or the whole "You were built, they want you back" thing?
I'd be shocked if this was legit.

Yeah. It seems like this guy watched the trailers, then tried to make a complete movie plot out of it. There are no spoilers in it that aren't in the trailers. It's missing a lot of stuff. He tries to weasel out of giving us any plot details (and thus exposing his lie) by stating that the rest of the movie is "typical Bay stuff".

If you don't want to see the movie plain and simple don't go see it! It ain't rocket science! Everyday theirs someone B**ching & Complaining it ain't that deep!

so let me get this straight we should only express our opinions as long as they praise everything that is transformers? Those of us who dont like what we are seeing or dont like how a beloved franchise thats been around for 30 years is going should just shut our mouths? Last time i checked this is a discussion thread not a communist country and the point of a discussion thread is to get opinions of the users be them positive or negative. And those of us who bitch about these movies have every right to, just like how the people who praise these movies have every right to as well. You dont like it to bad cause thats how the internet works

It's all fine and good to express your opinion but what I'm saying is everyday someone says because of this or that I'm not seeing the movie. Okay we get it you don't like it fine, stop posting the same ole nonsense it's getting real old real fast!
