Transformers 3 - Rosie Huntington-Whiteley On Set

She *IS* pretty, my goodness. O_o

But, will we be any better off with her than we were Megan Fox?

I'm used to Megan's acting being "meh", so if Rosie's is the same, so be it. All I ask (if she can't act), is that she be a nice person.

Megan ruined Mikaela for me when I heard about her on set antics and interview foul mouth.

C'mon Rosie, be a nice person, at least.

Oooh. You brought up a good point: Stunts.

She's a model, and most likely insured against any damages that might come to her person, but in a situation like this, the insurance company may not let her do any of her own stunts.

If you watch Mythbusters, they frequently talk about how their producers and their insurance company won't allow them to do this or that stunt. So, imagine how badly this group will freak out over a model.

So, will they get her a stunt double (I'm sure doubles are used for the really insane stunts in both of the previous movies), or will they let her get dirty and have some fun?

Has there been any announcement which character she is playing?

I am hoping she'll play this universe's version of Carly.

I doubt she would play the same character as Fox.

My thoughts are actually that she will be playing the role of Michaela. Because of how Sam briefly died in the second movie and then when he woke up he declared his love for Michaela. After all that they have been through, I can't believe Michael Bay will kill such a romance off in the 3rd production.
But ofcourse, I can't predict what goes on in his mind. (I know the Quintessons would have the same problem )

Well, let's just dissect this photo for a second and make some inferences:

1. Clothing: Sam has a fight with Michaela and goes for a walk near a crack house. He meets a very tall hooker.

2. Cigarette: Sam finds her ashtray breath repulsive, yet at the same time, alluring.

3. Hair: Sam always had a thing for Daryl Hannah as seen in Splash.

4. Tattoo: Sam finds out his new friend spent time in an orphanage where each child was marked for tracking purposes. He decides to get a tear drop tattoo under his left eye to match.

5. Bathrobe: It's just the bathrobe and the shoes...oh, and a smile.

Way to go Bay, what great character development. Bravo.

I still like Megan Fox better. This girl is just meh and she has a bit of a dull expression.

BWAHAHAHA, bravo, bravo You litterally read my mind when I saw that pic. Its sad, since the recent string of developments, I don't even come on here for the updates anymore, just the quips. *Sigh*

I have to say that i find it pretty amusing that most here are judging this girls, without ever have seeing her act and with only one picture.

How about people actually wait and see the movie, or even just get an idea about what its going to even be about for you all castrate her performance before she even gets a chance to perform? At this point we don't even know if she's playing Mikaela or is just some new girl. Would it kill some to just wait and get alittle more info??

Thats what im saying. And I just noticed this. Ever since the first movie came out and people talked bad about it, I get pissed over everything! So much that I want to beat the crap out of everything, It still happens. And thats the same time that I realized that the human race is doomed to extinction due to actions that humans as a whole made and now were all gonna die because people are uncontrollable and everyone else is going to do different things that will lead to our downfall, and no one is safe from it, because we all do things wrong. And that there is no such thing as a good person, only people who pretend to do good just to cover up their true intentions of wanting destruction. Yeah, I guess that does cause depression! And I am dead serious about this. I think maybe its because up until then, I had never had anything that I loved so much be critisized by people who have very strict expectations when they come and see a movie about giant robots fighting eachother (I know, it makes sense! ) And then I had all of my dreams crushed right in front of me. And thats when I realized Humanity's true destiny.

As for her acting, who knows, I'll reserve judgement. But traditionally, skeletons who look like that don't come with acting skills. And given the robe she has on, its obvious whatever she has underneath is not a substantial clothing choice.

Maybe we'll get lucky and she drop dead of lung cancer in the opening scene, a kind of PSA.

LOL! I wouldnt go that far just because we dont know what her acting skillzz are. She probobly has none though.

It doesn't help the situation. Like i said, if we want to be taken seriously, then we need to be a bit more selective with our coments. Were emphisizing so much attention on this no name model...Why? Granted we don't have alot of movie news to keep us ocupied, but with so many people claiming they want more robot attention, they seem to be giving a whole lot to someone to whom we know nothing about, other than she's taking over for Megan Fox. So, in reading, the jist is we shouldn't criticize someone who has no acting training who has been given a lead actress roll in a major summer franchise...why? And our criticisms will halt production and ruin an arguably already ruined franchise...how?

I think we are grossley overestimating our....can I even call it influence....on this franchise. We really don't have any, I think too many of us saw the extras on the 2-disc special DVD of TF1 and read too much into Bay browsing the chat forums. And no, there is no such thing as critique karma. If one person has a heavy critique about something, that will in no way ruin a multi million dollar summer production. Blame or lack thereof is squarely on the shoulders of those in charge. Directors, Writers, Producers, and the damn Marketing people. If a movie somehow turns out bad or diffirent then how you want, regardless of what anyone else says, it's not your fault. Nor is it anyone else just because they said, "This is stupid". With that said,

This IS stupid. I mean, really, it is. I mean, people criticise Megan, which I really don't know why cause we all loved her in the first film, and she does have an acting background. She was acting waaaaayyyyyyy before she did this film. Nearly every breakout star has an acting background. An elaborate one. This gal, has none! She's a model, the personification of eye candy. Being paraded in what? A bathrobe on a dark street corner with a cigarette? I mean, how can you NOT think the worst or the most crass? If Megan was replaced with an actress with more acting experience, hell any acting experience, I wouldn't have liked it but I would have understood. But to do this, and not expect critisism? Really? Sorry, but it is pretty well....funny. And you know what? Its okay to acknowledge it. Till she proves otherwise, it's ok to be critical. Some people complained about her lack of acting ability. Not all. I'm one of those people who are worried, but cautiously optimistic.

But what got the ball rolling in this thread, was Negare saying she should die because of smoking and become a PSA.

No, what starts internet drama's is the inability of people to use the "REPORT THIS POST" button and leave things alone and let the Moderator's deal with things.

Instead people dive in and have to have their say which just inflames the situation even more.

The PSA thing, interesting...though as Burn pointed out no more harsh then other posts or comments about Megan being run over by trains or killed off in explosions. Its all pretty much crude humor, thought that was the name of the game?

Alas, tiss pointless regardless. I think someone was just touche, perhaps a smoker? Which is understandable....though from those humble beginings it's spiraled into something much more/less offensive. Critique of the franchise, the same pro/con war of those whom like ROTF and those who don't. Which is fine, I mean the whole "war" is what makes these threads interesting and fun...but like i said it's just opinion. To read any more into it is.....foolhardy. And to blame the PSA thing would be for me to blame some other rant on quips about Megan fox because I'm an artist and so is she....doesn't stick. Aw well.....off to other posts.
