Ok, so here are my thoughts on Berserker.

So, definitely the weakest of the 3 wave 1 guys I purchased. He is not bad, but he is beneath Barricade and Prime. The robot mode is awesome and I love looking at it. The alien head and dreads are really cool and the chest looks pretty sweet as well. The legs are pretty cool too and I love that the figures in this line seem to be taking heel spurs seriously. He is pretty stable and fun to pose. His weapons are pretty sweet too. Transformation is difficult because the arms and legs just don't want to behave themselves when hooking up, but it has gotten a bit easier with several transformations. Alt mode is pretty nice, and I appreciate the fact that they are painting all the windows and lights or using translucent plastic for all of them on these figures. the gaps between arms and legs are a detriment, and it feels a bit small, like the robot was good but the alt mode needed to be voyager sized. But he is an alright figure, though I recommend Barricade as the best of wave 1.

I was gonna get Berserker just for his predator robot mode anyways but probably when i find him cheaper. I like Barricade a lot especially since being told his backpack can be taken off and used like a riot shield but my fave of wave 1 is easily Optimus Prime. Only niggle I have with him is kinda tricky to get the front panels of the truck all lined up but I mostly have him in robot mode anyways and I'm quite enjoying painting up extra and correct details on him and awaiting the hopefully inevitable reprolabels for all those missing robot mode flames. :D

So this "poster" mentions Cybertron could also Transform.

Does this mean that Cybertron is the planet in the trailers? Could also be a reason why it looks Different in 2007 compared to DOTM

I was initially going to make fun of this but then i realized it may ACTUALLY transform into a bottle of motor oil!! Now i like it and want one.

Vulvatron will be mine.

PS- just cheked it out and filled out a bunch of false info to eventually learn the offer is only available in the States. Super lame.

Logical because it's a new mold and the only one worthy of discussion.

Makes perfect sense since the Leader Optimus that it connects with has been rereleased a ton of times (and the best version got released this year) that many people are catching up and buying a jetfire to go with it.

Recent Images of Voyager Hound from Transformers the Last Knight have appeared on Forbidden Planet's listings show a slight change in his deco. Both in the robot mode and vehicle mode, we can see that the Red Cross emblem has been removed. We do not know if this is to due to an anticipated license that did not go through or Red Cross calling it out or Hasbro just being preventive. We do know that he has this emblem in the movie so this is toy specific and it now makes the toy less acurate to his screen deco.

In some of the recent trailers the updated shots of Hound also has the red cross removed from his robot mode.

So this probably is not only the toys but Hound in the film as well I knew this would happen eventually.

Thanks, I was basing my analysis on the official shots of Hound so far. I had not noticed that it was removed from the recent trailers as well.

And Bumblebee21, while it doesnt ruin the figure to me, it does take away some nice detail that broke up all the same coloured plastic.

I'm probably in the minority, but I think removing the only uses of those colors makes it look superior. The shade of green and stark white really don't mix, at least in my opinion.

I know head canon's are not true and all but I just chalk it up to Ratchet getting rusty (literally) in his hands from age like from the MTMTE comics so he isn't as good as he used to be so I consider Ratchet to be more of a "knowledge" type doctor who tells you what your symptoms are and not as much as a physical one who saves your life.

What we do know is in movie 1 Ratchet's analysis of Bee's voicebox as well as Sam's uh pheromones, talked about the consequences of Optimus merging his Spark with the Allspark and presumably helped fix Bee's legs, In ROTF He told Jolt what to do with Optimus and Jetfire (in the novel he does the work himself) and he probably checked up on Prime after he died, In DOTM he provided analysis on Sentinel's state while on the moon with Optimus and presumably fixed Prime's arm after the movie.

So the problem isn't really that Ratceht doesn't do medical work but that most of hands on work takes place off screen and when it does it's not obvious lets hope Hound does otherwise in this movie.

Ratchet was medically a problem. Movie 1 he had a laser point at bee,he guides ironhide's canon to the window of Sams house and says "yeah yeah yeah" when ironhide asks to take out the parents, when bees legs blew off sam called him nowhere to be seen, also he's not carrying jazz which just seems like he didn't try and gave up. Movie 2 particularly in the desert he just watches jetfire kill himself without even offering to help not to mention when prime dies his first thought is let's go off world. Movie 3 again he's more interested in shooting things up.

Hound and ratchet are looking to be similar in that they don't care about being an actual medic and are more interested in shooting things up.

What was wrong with the laser pointer it was a medical tool?

Starscram and Brawl were attacking the group at that point I don't think Ratchet had time to check on Bee and Ironhide is carrying Jazz because he is the stronger of the two and it's obvious he tried because Ironhide himself said "We couldn't save him" so that means he obviously tried plus it seems obvious Megatron instantly killed Jazz since he is never shown moving around and he looks pretty dead dangling in Mega's hands lifelessly.

Jetfire chose to kill himself that was his own damn choice he wanted to sacrifice himself plus Scroponok did quite the number on Jetfire so he was probably dying you know from having more then his side being destroyed.

When did Ratchet show interest in shooting things up in DOTM?

Never that's when

Went through the image galleries and I was a bit incorrect.

Their not gone in the recent trailer but they are color edited to be dark green but it's still removed from the helmet it seems.

I did not notice this earlier cause I'm near sighted and have a bit of minor color blindness to some greens and only saw the cross now that I'm looking at it closely and not in a moving image.

Edit: in other news I can say for sure that the "planet" is Cybertron since we got the honeycombs everywhere and that poster for the Toys R Us Cybertron thing mentions that Cybertron transforms as well.

In the movie he's an actual Ford Mustang GT500 Police Type.

The toy however looks like a mix between the 2017 Dodge Charger Police Pursuit version and the Ford Police Interceptor but not the actual Mustang in the Movie.

The toy is ambiguous enough of a car to not require a license from anyone. It's definitely not a Mustang, but not a Charger or the Interceptor either.

This is stupid. Like they didn't get the logo from somewhere else. Cross. Uh... Romans invented that. Red. Blood, right? You know, like Jesus? Ok, so the cross looks more Greek Orthodox, but seems like the J man kind of made it popular as a symbol. Maybe I'm wrong, but if they already copied someone else they got no reason to moan over it?

I mean, you think people looking at "thing with red cross helps me" would be something they like. "Oh, I'm hurt! I should get the box with the red cross on it!" So like, in real life don't people get help from the Red Cross? Makes no sense to me. I think I'd want people going after my symbol. I'd want people to see it everywhere, knowing "hey, that's what you go to for help!" I ain't the brightest bulb, but I think they're just dumb for acting like that.

Found all the wave 1 deluxes at retail, so being the impulsive person I am I picked up Berserker - I want at least one minion for Megatron when I get him. I really wish he didn't have rubber parts for his hands, shoulder spikes, dreadlocks AND weapons - since it's getting warmer I'm really concerned about their longevity - and his vehicle mode is a huge pain to tab together. On the other hand, his robot mode looks really cool and has a nice range of movement, so I'll probably keep him in that mode most of the time. I do want to paint him and bring out those little details like I will with voyager Prime, and I'll post some pictures when I do.

If they're going to remove the cross then at the very least they could have given Hound regular Autobot symbols. Or as pointed out above the green crosses in the movie would have looked pretty nice.

Terrsolpix wrote:I'm probably in the minority, but I think removing the only uses of those colors makes it look superior. The shade of green and stark white really don't mix, at least in my opinion.

But that's the whole point of the Red Cross symbol, to be highly visible and instantly recognizable from a distance. It should contrast with the rest of the colors.

Maybe hound from the G1 cartoon fits better. Don't know if Red Cross agrees to the old character then got new movie hound without them knowing

but isnt the red cross on a white background the universal symbol for a medic? Plus it has the autobot symbol right on it so its not the exact one red cross uses, i dont understand this at all. Maybe its not red cross at all that made them get rid of it, maybe they removed it cause all he does is blow the crap out of stuff and doesnt do any kind of medic like actions so its not really fitting. I mean just look at the door it had the red cross next to a kill tally, not very medic like.

The red cross on a white background was indeed used as a symbol for a medic in popular culture back in the day, but as we all know, not all of it is based on true fact. That symbol has always stood for that particular organisation, but it's begun to really reinforce the protection of its trademark in the past 15 to 20 years.

With all the dinos around, I wonder...

Bay movies (and toys) that will dabble in the BEAST WARS universe when? Especially when they are no humans around.
Thanks to Grimlock we have an idea what a Bay Megatron would look like, but how about a Bay Optimus Primal?

With all the time travelling that will occur in TLK, it could even be possible for TF6 or TF7.

The point is that Hound seems to be Ratchet's replacement which makes him a combat medic as in you know a medic who fights on the battlefield like in real military forces since they have to themselves and others alive during wars.

It's an irony thing like with Barricade being a cop car with knuckle dusters saying "protect and serve"

I don't see Bee, Crosshairs or Drift being medics and who better to replace a dead medic with a dude who knows how to kill?

It's actually a violation of the Geneva convention to have a red cross on anything they haven't said it's ok to. They even forced people in videogames to switch out red crosses for green or blue ones before. What a waste of time. I don't see how this helps anyone. I get that people shouldn't pretend to be medics or falsely represent health equipment but geez. I think most people can understand that a toy with a medical cross on it is not a real ambulance.

If feeling the bag and looking through the small window in the back bottom corner won't work for you there is a solution. We are aware that some toys are similarly colored and some people are unable to see color. You can tell what the toy will by looking at the embossed letter on the back of the packaging. The image below will show you where to look.

Now from here we reference Transformers fan Robert Hardin, whom has cracked the code.
I have cracked the code!
I’ve been doing some online research on these Tiny Turbo Changers blind bags trying to see what bag has which character. The forums haven’t been helpful, many saying there aren’t codes anymore due to anti-gambling laws! This simply is not true, because I found individual letter codes on each package near the small window (which also gives you a hint). The codes are:
A – Grimlock gold
B – Grimlock black
C – Lockdown
D – Hound
E – Bee yellow
F – Crosshairs
G – Blackout
H – Soundwave
J – Starscream
K – Sideswipe
L – Bee black
! – Prime
Yes, Prime seems to be an exclamation point. Happy hunting!
