We have provided pictures of Megatron in both packaging versions for you. These are from the upcoming photo gallery that will be arriving shortly.
And, that's not all that's new with this mold! Apparently a number of them have been incorrectly assembled at the shoulder, and there's finally a fix. Thanks to YouTuber camzilla51, a nicely detailed video containing the instructions for the fix is streaming now at this link and in the embed below:

It's barely noticeable as it doesn't really inhibits the toy's function. If anything, the misassembly prevents the shoulder pads from being properly slotted in vehicle mode.

(in case you need a hint, yes I truly believe both ideas to be utterly and supremely stupid beyond all comprehension. Hasbro getting on board with one or both just compounds the stupidity... In my far-from-humble OPINION)

And please, those of you who are behind the name change and are also behind Unicron for the new movie, I invite you to take the first leap. Try not to hit any cars on the bottom.

You know, in a way this is kind of refreshing. Most people can't stop whining because they think Hasbro never listens to the fans. Now here you are complaining because Hasbro listened to the fans. People amuse me.
Also, why do you care? It's a name change. If Hasbro wants to change their products, they are totally free to do that. If they stumble across a good idea that they think is better than what they originally went with, why shouldn't they change it?

The "Megatron" and "Tartarex Warp Sword" variant seems to have been a boo boo left over from early working names in the production, with the corrected names being what was decided upon.
